The move Walt did to manipulate Jesse into breaking things with his girl was bc Walt is a narcissist person him seeing Jesse being happy with his family brought in the jealousy and emptiness he’s feeling with his own family so he’s basically trying to take the joy that Jesse feels bc he’s in the mindset of “if I can’t be happy than no one can” it’s just a simple but yet really evil thing to do all bc of Walt insecurity as a man

This is true and he’s 100% a narcissist, but I dont think Walt likes to see Jesse suffer even though he’s often the cause of his sufference. I might be wrong but I think, Walt is also scared of Jesse having anyone in his life because he perceives it as a threat to his control over Jesse. If Jesse has anyone other than him, he’s more likely to see how toxic his relationship with Walt is and leave. It’s easier to control the narrative when you don’t have any competition. It’s twisted and damaging to Jesse, but Walt probably excuses it to himself by thinking that he knows what’s best for Jesse anyway.

Yeah I think the opportunity for Skylar to snitch and get away free with the kids done passed. She should have made that decision as soon as she found out. Her involvement puts her in a bind and she knows it that’s why she feels the way she does with no way out but to wait for him to die or get killed like she said.

I don't think it is about not being able to separate the 2. It is just when you are beyond a child's mindset, being a bad person and making reckless decisions isn't "cool". It's the cool factor that changes. So you appreciate different kinds of characters and what they bring to the story, and not always just the same old tropes.
