Just to clarify things: in season 1 of GOT when Maester Aemon was telling Jon about his family, he made it seem like his brother Egg was the father of the mad king by skipping a generation, Jaehaerys (eggs son who is the father of the mad king). Egg is actually the mad kings grandfather and great grandfather to Dany
