Yall gonna have to ease up judging my girl🤣. I'm not here to ruin the gathering of the audience with the overly heavy... But the way I see Kwenthrith is this: If I were a considered a secondary citizen for being female but forbidden to "make an honest living"(i.e. get an occupation to support myself which is a notable disgrace because she's 'high-born') and the men in my family had it in them to not just abuse women but children and I was said child abused... Yeah, no. There might be some pleasure in seeing certain heads roll... Just saying... She has her issues, but as I said in the comments of a previous episode the writers did do her well by exploring what can sometimes be a tell tale sign of the aftermath of a common found abuse women have historically faced... Even when they're considered to be 'fortunate' because they belong to Nobility or in modern terms, the elite. Never forget that her being open about her experiences especially at the hands of her own kin is groundbreaking especially as the show aired pre Katt Williams/Shannon Sharp interview/time is TRULY up on keeping silent-era... Just saying. Y'all judge her harshly considering as far as she knows: Family means nothing and if she wants the freedom to even choose peace, she has to be the one totally in control...
