Great reaction you guys! The sad thing about Chris is because he never felt like he fitted in when the world was normal, now that the apocalypse has come he’s finding people he fits in with. The only problem is it’s the wrong people and since he’s trying so hard he’s doing the most to please the wrong people. It’s a sad situation.

That’s an interesting way of looking at that situation. In my opinion, I feel Chris has always felt abandoned by his father, because Travis moved on from Elizabeth (Travis ex wife)’ to live with Madison and her to kids, and be a family; therefore, Chris has always felt like an outsider. When Chris found those Hoodlums … it’s like you said, Chris found that sense of belonging “a family” that he always wanted from his father. I think Chris’ mother meant everything to him, and in his mind the only one that cared for him, and once he lost her, that was it. He acted out of order.
