Good morning Patreon family!

Time for episode 3 of The Ones Who Live. After everything we’ve seen from both of Rick & Michonnes POVs, this episode starts connecting the dots.

Rick is still dealing with the pressure and control of the CRM, trying to play his role while clearly struggling with what it’s turning him into. Can Rick & Michonne actually pull this thing off without anyone finding out the truth about their relation???

LETS GOOO. More the ones who live… but um… Where’s Clem?!?!?

Harmony

Yay!!💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾❤️

Caleb Weir

I’ve been asking if he gonna finish the walking dead game it gets good!

Karena Benford

Yay🔥❤️!!! I'm at work so I'll have to watch later but still YAY!!

Amber S

Oo yess!! Daily drops, love it! Can’t wait for episode 4!

amanda

Thank you Adison. Keep em coming please.

KING Guyton

Ngl Rick and Michonne owe Daryl some MAJOR Child Support 😂

Tyona

LETSSSSS GOOOO

Gelon

Wow! Still so hard on Michonne! I am going to see if minds are changed as we go along with this series.

Latinblu

I wonder if off screen Michonne told Rick who has died since he left, and who is not locked up.

BJ

Ya gotta give Machonne , more grace. From her POV, Rick is giving her mixed messages. One moment he's kissing her at every chance and the next he's shooing her away.

Candice Batton

Thx for the 1x3 TOWL drop!! BTW I’m sure every woman wish they had a “helicopter moment” like Michonne had after their man done talked stupid to them like “we over” 😒😒🤣🤣🤣😒😒😭

Latinblu

“People are a resource” Rick quoting Negan is crazy lol

Shawanda

Yall going have to ease up off Michonne now. 😂🤷🏾‍♀️ Great reaction. Definitely looking forward to next episode. Danai directed Episode 4.

Rachel Trainor

Addison: “You think we’re going to have another helicopter incident?” 😅

A. P.

Y'all are a bit confused on the timeline. Michone wasn't gone looking for Rick for 6-7 years, it was 1-2 years. The 6 years number comes from that being the time between when the bridge blew and when this story starts. Judith was a toddler when Rick "died", she's 9/10 when Michone leaves. She didn't leave until she found the boots and phone — proof that he survived the explosion.

Betty

Michonne is extremely loyal and last episode she said herself that she doesn’t leave people behind. I think that’s definitely her fatal flaw.

DD

Hasnt Rick been gone for almost a decade though ?? Because from the timeline we are watching this from rj is 7 he’s turning 8 soon

Avishai

Thing is Rick is wrong here and this plot is so dumb. How many times do you have to hear from your partner that they're in it with you? And watch them operate, often times, more efficiently than you? Before you accept that as the best course of action? Like bruh she's not a stay at home wife, shes a warrior. Let her be a warrior and help you. Plus, this plot line is dumb because Rick should know he cant topple or control this thing on his own. He's gonna need help. Quite frankly he's gonna need more than Michonne even. This show should be them slowly bringing more of the OG guys into this society like Daryl or Eugene. This "i must protect my partner from harm" subplot gets so old so fast smh. And lowkey shame on the guys for always falling for these kinds of plots. Anyone should be at least 85% on Michonne side here.

DD

I think he’s been gone for 8 years

A. P.

Correcto — dassa fact. i was just saying Michone wasn't out looking for him that whole time though bc of Adison's comment bout halfway thru this episode. She only been gone bout a year and a half.

Rachel Trainor

Michonne says at some point that she recovered from the Chlorine gas for 1 year. So I think 1 1/2 to 2 years on the road is correct. We did see Michonne with RJ when he looked around 6. Glad you pointed this out. Hope they see it.

Rachel Trainor

Y’all probably already watched the next episode. If by any chance you haven’t. I hope 🤞🏻 you pause to speak a ton. Most of that episode you won’t be able to get a word in edgewise without talking over some of the best written dialogue and acting in all of TWD universe period.

Athasin

Being hit was mustard gas and having to retrain your lungs for a year wasn't an acceptable excuse? Nah you buggin'

Kim Cottingham

Next episode written by Danai herself. Obviously why it's so great

Rachel Trainor

Yes! They said that they thought she’d been gone over 3x longer than she had. I think that’s why. Online says it’s was around 2 years tops. And she didn’t choose to be hung up healing from that gas for 1 year either. Also… SHE WAS HEADED BACK HOME to the kids when they shot the helicopter down and Rick showed up. I think they’ll come around on Michonne next episode though. 🤫

DD

He’s tryna push her away because he doesn’t want to loose her he physically can’t loose her. And wants her to go back to Judith

DD

I feel like everyone is saying that michonne abandoned her kids. She did not it’s not like she left them on the side of the Road michonne got told by Judith they had defeated the whisperers which they didn’t. And that’s what made michonne go because she knows that her daughter and son would be in safe hands. Of team family if she had known she 100% wouldn’t have gone and went another time.

Kareemah

Exactly. She literally almost died. That is the biggest excuse if any.

Kareemah

Hear me out guys. Please pause episode 4 anytime you need to talk. Michonne wrote this episode and it is the best episode of the 6 episodes. I know that youguys have watched it so I am suggesting that you go back and watch it on your own because I guarantee that you missed the best dialogue in the history of TWD and Richonne's love story.

DD

She would never leave her man

DD

Best episode ever if you know you know

Kareemah

As a person living with PTSD, I can assure you that what he is feeling is valid. He is too scared of what will happen to his family in Alexandria.

DD

Actually episode 6

DD

I just need rick to meet his baby rj at this Point 😭

Kareemah

Rick has been gone a total of nine years. He had been 6 years when she found out he survived. So it's been three years until she actually found him. He was indentured for the first 6 years. Then he trained as a soldier for a year. Then was one for a couple before Michonne found him. It took her roughly 3 years to find him.

Kareemah

She didn't Dieect the episode. She WROTE the episode.

Shawanda

Here have a cookie 🍪

Kareemah

She isn't even fully caught up on all that we have lost, like Luke and Rosita.

Rachel Trainor

About 9 years Rick’s been gone. Michonne was probably 8 months pregnant with RJ when the bridge happened. And RJ is 8 now. So about 9 years Rick’s been gone if we factor in the early stage of pregnancy Michonne was in.

Avishai

Agreed its overly valid. I had a father with severe PTSD. He and my mother were very open about it in the later years. So i understand where you're coming from and respect that. But from a story perspective, its played out. That's all im saying

Betty

exactlyyy!!!

DD

This very true even this episode i feel like they kinda missed alot with michonnes facial expressions and also how Rick is scared of Thunder

DD

I also peeped that rick and rj are both scared of Thunder aww

Kareemah

😂😂😂😂😂I have chocolate chip cookies, so I think I will have a couple.

Kareemah

Rick wouldn't betray Michonne like that.

Kareemah

Thorne likes him but he never forgot Michonne.

Kareemah

Rick has PTSD, but it could also be from the storm.

Kareemah

Michonne wasn't showing when the bridge collapsed. Neither knew that she was pregnant when then. She was about that wgen her friend kidnapped the children.

Shawanda

Add some ice cream too. Would taste great homemade vanilla 😋

Kareemah

As a Philadelphian. I was screaming when I saw the Spring Garden subway stop.

RJones2016

Honestly, I only liked 3 of the 6 episodes. 😬 This episode was one of them. 😊

BJ

Agreed but she doesn't that. If the show started with her POV, I would think the same

Latinblu

He’s never met Luke & his crew, so even if Michonne knew they were dead, might not be much point in telling him.

Kareemah

Thorne is a definite OP. She knows that "Dana" means something to Rick and the mission.

Kareemah

Facts. I want to throw my husband out of a helicopter right at this moment. 😂🤷🏾‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

Athasin

Every time I watch this I think: Meanwhile Judith and fam are fighting alpha and then the commonwealth.

Kareemah

😂😂😂😂😂

Candice Batton

🤣🤣🤣🤣 Trust I completely understand that feeling 🤣🤣😒😭😭🤣

Rachel Trainor

Oh im not a mom. I didn’t know people showed a month in.

shemeka_blackscorpion

I never understood the cell phone situation... can someone explain the cell phone thing where the guy drew michonne, judith and carl? He said he had a conversation with carl.... is he someone from back home?

DD

No he drew michonne and judith not carl he said he would have conversations about rick to draw carl but rick couldnt remember him

Mieka

He isn't from Alexandria. He was having the conversations with Rick not Carl. He was saying that he couldn't get the drawings for Carl on the phone right for Rick.

TastefulNood42

Adison: Michonne was only away from Judith and RJ a year and some change. When we see her in TOWL 1x2 it picks up right from where we last see her in TWD 10x13, in TWD 10x24 she's wearing the armor Nat designed for her and writing in the journal he gave her in TOWL 1x2. They get gassed and spend the year in the mall until they come across Rick's helicopter which is "now" according to the timeline. And yes, the bombed out stadium they meet in is Lincoln Financial Field where the Eagles play and that's where Okafor bombed his wife. You can see the dog tags in his room of the soldier/Walkers I'm assuming he's put down; perhaps searching for his wife.

tyronne jones

No Rick had him draw Michonne and Judith by describing them.. then he tried to describe Carl and the artist just said he couldn’t fully get it right

tyronne jones

Just a little Easter egg or call back. When Thorne was putting Michonne in her scope it’s a bundle call back to Shane putting rick in his scope way back. Like Rick stopping Thorne it was dale who stopped Shane

TastefulNood42

I'm from south Jersey and was tickled to see Rick touching a map with Bridgeton and Millville 😅 And the bench scenes; That's the Camden waterfront on the Jersey side, right?

DD

I hope they have noticed that rick is suffering from extreme ptsd whilst being in there

Z.Incognito

Next episode will emphasize it more

Betty

I think they are one of the few reactors who doesn’t seem to be judging Rick for being “ weak” like others have. They mentioned a few times that the crm basically made him dead inside and they even picked up on how his mannerism is changing now that Michonne came.

Kareemah

He had a conversation with Rick not Carl, just that he could never draw him correctly.

Kareemah

😯😯😯😯😯

shemeka_blackscorpion

Do "the world beyond" speaks about a lot of unanswered questions we have?

shemeka_blackscorpion

Whenever I go back and re-watch this spin-off, I usually watch some of episode 1, all of episode 2 cause i love me some Nat, most of episode 3, all of episode 4, I watch the end of episode 5 when they killed ole girl and watch all of episode 6

DD

Your really right ep.4 really shows that too but i also understand why he’s moving like that to protect his kids and wife. And they really have Rick shook that they will come for his home.

Rindamarie

Rick (Andrew Lincoln) was seriously smoldering this season. I forgot how good he looked. Thorne has drunk all the Kool-Aid. Great episode.

Melody

I don't see the whole "Thorne is jealous and likes Rick thing". Rick aint all that to everyone. I'm zero percent familiar with military terms but I know that hierarchy and chain of command is important. Thorne is drinking the Kool-aid regarding the CRM and their beliefs, especially after receiving the Echelon briefing. She agrees with the mission. Meanwhile she sees "Dana", who she vouched for, coming in and acting without direct permission. She knows she's an A and she knows if things go badly, it'll reflect badly on her. The crazy thing about the time jump is that Thorne has spent longer with Rick than Michonne had. He was gone about 3.5 years into the apocalypse and has been missing for 6 years. Thorne seeing Rick suddenly change his behavior might be alarming to her. But I see Rick and Thorne as completely platonic. They've been through a lot together (off camera) and she said she sees him as family. Chalking up Thorne's dislike of "Dana" to a women’s cat fight over a man is one-dimensional and silly.

Rachel Trainor

Yes. Thorne’s only beef with Michonne is that if she ends up being a problem then it would reflect badly on her judgement since she’s the one who stuck her neck out for her. Because she fully drank the CRM Kool-aid and doesn’t want anyone to mess her opportunity up.

Rachel Trainor

He looks better in this show than the walking dead! I think he put some muscle on or something and age looks good on him! 🔥

Caleb Weir

Episode 1 is arguably the best if you’re a big Rick fan ik I was dying for years waiting for him to make a return.

Caleb Weir

Nat said it was chlorine gas and that he wanted to hit the football team with it.

Caleb Weir

The negan reference was fire!

Caleb Weir

It always really bugged me how we never got that on screen of his reactions to who died since he left and how they died. They could have squeezed that into episode 4 ik it was all rushed but cmon.A little fan service woulda been nice.

Nae

Throne is not jealous, throne believes that she has built a new life in the crm and she doesn’t want Rick to fuck up her chances

Melody

I 100% agree. You said it in fewer words than I could. The boys acting like it's a simple cat fight or that Thorne is intimidated by/jealous of Michonne because she's also a strong woman. But I think it's more about what Thorne said in that destroyed stadium: Michonne wouldn't just do the job and live her life. She'd ask questions and disagree with how the CRM is run. She's a threat in that way. I don't think jealousy factors in at all.

Melody

Jadis nestled them fries in the trash for safekeeping. She's 100% coming back for them. That trash heap is Jadis's cupboard.

Melody

Agreed

Nae

Lmao the way michonne yanked rick out of that helicopter

DD

Am crying because she was mad asf 😭

Marrkaink

Next episode is my favorite episode of any Walking Dead series

Hanna

Exactly she a believer and nothing to do with ANY jealousy nonsense

Hanna

Yes & they brainwashed him he has PTSD he's all fucked up Mentally.

KING Guyton

Yea but she didn't tell anyone where she was going. She only told Judith. She could've atleast told daryl, Carol, or even Aaron

Rachel Trainor

Thorne’s driving forces are ambition and duty. She’s not the type to jeopardize her position by even considering an inappropriate relationship with a fellow officer. She is a soldier and married to the CRM. Unfortunately not enough female characters like that are written. Attractive single women are supposed to want love above all else according to Hollywood.

DD

For what though exactly it wouldn’t even do anything and they thought rick was dead and told her she was crazy

shemeka_blackscorpion

Now when Rick first came back after michonne and Nat brought the helicopter down and he went to see Thorne and she looked like an actual lady with her hair laid down, I thought to myself do they have a thing for each other considering how worried of Rick Thorne was but as the episode went on, I realized he's more like her brother then someone she's crushing on... I don't see anything of what the guys are seeing when it comes to Thorne, Rick and michonne... plus michonne is very secure in her position... she trust Rick, thats why she never did the petty sht and asked whats going on between Rick and Thorne.... she knows they don't have that type of chemistry goin on

Melody

Yes, and she might've been crying because she found out that Okafor was blown to bits. I don't think she'd gotten that Echelon briefing by that point. She definitely felt somewhat loyal to him because he saved her life. I'm not sure that the writers of the first few episodes did a good job explaining the characters and their motives, Thorne and Okafor included. Why, if they have a rule about disposing of A's, would they knowingly keep Rick and Thorne and then also promote them in the CRM? Jadis is also an A. I think they should have explained that more.

Adam Beiter

How's your house after the tree 😭

everydaynegroes

No problem, glad y’all are enjoying the videos. -Adison

Kareemah

Both are right in their own way. I suffer from PTSD so I understand Rick's hesitation, but Michonne had to smack some sense into him.

Kareemah

She's jealous also. She thought she was building something with Rick once they rose in the ranks.

Rachel Trainor

Thorne was definitely crying about Okafur. He’d just died and she had massive respect for him. I’m sure she was glad Rick was alive though since he is her comrade.

bella

can’t wait for the daryl dixon show reaction

Digital Alikin

Danai nailed the writing the dialogue is so good

nattyindi

She was totally jealous, calling Rick her only family and her trying to snipe Michonne was a direct callback to Shane pointing his rifle at Rick in the woods cause he was envious of him and Lori. Thorne knows Rick has *someone* out there he's trying his hardest-even cutting his hand off- to get back to. She's smart, she knows "Dana" has to be that person even if only subconsciously. Women know.

nattyindi

They answer questions regarding the CRM, such as what went down in Omaha (and other communities)

everydaynegroes

I’m good! I still have some repairs I need to work on but thank God everyone is safe 🙏🏾 -Adison

TastefulNood42

Yes, as @nattyindi said it definitely fleshes out more details about what the CRM is and helps to give more insight on the things that Okafor and Beale share with Rick in TOWL. You also get the back story on Jadis's involvement prior to where we see her in TOWL and the flash backs from TOWL 1x5. When it first came on, I only watched a couple of episodes. I began a rewatch over the weekend, but AMC+ oddly doesn't have all episodes of season 2 available. Not sure what the deal is there as we're subscribers.

Cleo Griffith

Yes! Plus Rick looks real good in black.

Cleo Griffith

Thorne is jealous of Michonne because Michonne is an A and Thorne is B . Even to pushing the RDM she couldn't do it but Michonne did until Rick came and help. She's not leader material. I was hollering when she said Rick is her family because her "family" was ready to put a bullet in her for his WIFE. Adison they flew over the river they passed by earlier and Michonne saw that and pull his butt out.

Latinblu

It’s certainly a full circle moment. Carl would be proud.

Tori

Such a good series man TWD Universe can't lose

Fellerz

IDK if anyone said it but Rick been wearing the same boots since Season 1

Fellerz

The last 2 Episodes you can tell they Rushed the ending
