Honestly, I think if Madison, Nick, & Alicia linked up with ricks people they'd click quite well. Madison is a great manipulator but lacks any real foresight so we constantly see her having to shift gears and handle the fallout of her last bad call. If her and Carol teamed up Carol's big picture insight would balance out Madison's impulsiveness and make their duo absolutely killer. Also Rick's group was actually close-knit whereas none of the groups Madison's been a part of have had that true ride or die kinda vibe really IMO, so if hypothetically they were to link up maybe Madison's concept of family could expand so her moves would be better suited for longterm success over short term survival

Glad y'all made it to this episode. Everything comes full circle. It could definitely be viewed as emotional manipulation, but I really think Madison would've killed Otto. I think Nick acted in his own right to try and protect his mom for once. Once Nick found out the truth, then he knew something had to be done. After hearing his mom's history, Nick may have felt some level of guilt, so this may have been his penance for giving his mom so much grief. Either way, all I will say is keep on watching. No spoilers, but stay tuned...

Madison didn't tell them that story so Nick would do that. She told them so they understood that she will do whatever it takes to protect them.

I get Madison is mad because of what happened with Travis, but the way she’s going all out for the Otto’s is WEIRD. Even her kids realize that there’s more to the feud between the two camps.

Alicia & Nick would fit in. Madison however, absolutely not lol. She’d sidestep Rick so fast when things doesn’t go her way, she’s not a team player at all. I see her fitting in with the saviors, she’d run a good outpost.

Nick killed Otto because he realized everything he told him about the ranch was a lie. So everything they experienced with Troy, Walker, and Travis's death was for nothing. Disliking Madison is fine but acting like these men have zero agency over themselves is weird.

I am curious, If Madison's survival by any means approach aint the move, has anyone determined a better way to handle the situations we are seeing on the show? I dont know that I could've have waited out my child being a hostage.

Osafa was spot on at the end, the Clark family all basically picked one of the Otto’s to work on, I think Madison and Nick were intentional whilst Alicia was just genuinely interested in the only good dude there. Either way I never picked that up on my first watch so I’m glad he mention it.

I always presumed the astronaut that was talking to Strand wouldn’t turn when he dies seeing that he’s in space and it was an airborne virus and I’m guessing he was launched before everything went down so he might be the only human not infected
