I been waiting on this!! 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾

KennethLu

I ❤️ aliens a little more than the first one just a little and if edn decide to watch the rest of the franchise in my opinion you can skip alien 3 and 4 it just not worth it and go straight to Alien Prometheus and Alien Covenant and maybe Romulus too.

where_is_t

The best in the entire franchise, Ripley was putting belt to a** the whole movie.

⚜️ I cannot begin to tell you guys how many times I made my poor grandmother bring me to the theatre to see this when it came out in 1986. That poor poor woman really loved me! 💜💛💚⚜️

dlite357

Yes! My thoughts exactly! Except, I liked "Alien" more than "Aliens." I never liked "Aliens" until recently. "Romulus" is my next favorite, "Covenant," and then "Prometheus." I guess you can throw "Alien vs. Predator" too, but it would be last on my list to watch.

KennethLu

Yeah I think everyone can agree that alien 3 and 4 is dookie and far as AVP I never really got into it so I guess if edn watch I’ll watch just for theirs reaction to it I like your order too I think I like Prometheus and Covenant more mainly because magneto himself is in it and I am a big michael fassbender fan such an underrated actor.

dlite357

It pains me that I don't see some things the way others do sometimes. "Aliens" was just "ok" for me. My son loves the movie though! That made me want to rewatch it again, because he loves it so much, and I couldn't understand why.

DangerousNewbie

I love this series! Can't wait to see more of these reaction ❤️

Marcus

Just for some backstory, the "humanoid" working on behalf of "another being" was an android (like, a robot) who was sent on the mission by the Weyland Yutani corporation (an earth based corporation).

dlite357

OMG! I found a twin! LOL! Yes! My thoughts exactly! Michael Fassbender is an AMAZING actor! And very handsome (I've had a crush on him forever) LOL! You know EDN is going to watch all the movies regardless. I'm down if they are. They are the reason why I pay for this subscription!

Johnny R

The word "Derelict" means abandoned. so when someone says "derelict ship" they basically mean lost at space or at sea.

KennethLu

😆 same here I actually love how funny they are without the use of profanity too we are all adult here but I do appreciate and respect theirs professionalism and yes MF are so talented I really wish all the best for him and we definitely need a sequel to Covenant we need closure to his story arc.

KennethLu

I like your taste in movie baked potato I believe I just made a new friend here.

dlite357

Thanks buddy!

KennethLu

Have you seen Preacher or Bate Motel it a pretty good series

Wolfy! Wolfi! Wolfé!

Y'all are spoiling me with these selections! So I'm not sure if you all might missed it or just f it was on the Director's Cut. But Ripley,s daughter died while she was lost in space in cryo. And the corpo slimey guy, Ripley runs into him coocooned and she leaves him with a grenade to kill himself while he begs for her help 😆 it's stupid that was left off the theatrical version

O.J. Goldstein

Hicks is from Terminator. Hudson was in Predator 2.

MattPalmer237

Ok, you've now seen Predator and Predator 2, Alien and Aliens...you have to watch Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049 next...they are all part of the same shared universe, the Blade Runner movies will fully explain the replicant humans (androids). I mean, aside from the fact that the first Blade Runner is easily a top 5 scifi movie of all time contender.

MattPalmer237

Aliens is there along with Empire Strikes Back and Pirates of the Caribbean where somehow the sequel is better than a near perfect first movie....

MattPalmer237

also, that gimble arm you guys kept talking about they use as a support arm for the heavy weapons is actively in development and testing for the US Military right now in 2026 lol even a standard milspec rifle gets heavy after a couple hours...

KennethLu

Agree it rare for a sequel to surpass the original but there a few out there like Top Gun Maverick I never care for the original that much it ok I guess but Maverick was a dang near 👌.

JM

Yup Hicks, Michael Biehn, is who played Kyle Reese in The Terminator. Hudson is played by Bill Paxton (RIP).

Mireille Lonian

Was the Hairspray body shame comment necessary?

Brew city Bob

Really liking the movie reactions lately yall. Also Alien Isolation is a great video game to try if you are into the franchise. Just be prepared to have sweaty palms the entire time.

Ronny

Play Halo first then dont watch the show because it sucks.

dlite357

The cat always survives in these movies! The cat has 9 lives! 🐈

KennethLu

Yeah the story is atrocious let just put it at that or we’ll be going into spoilers territory.

dlite357

No, I have not seen either one, but I want to! I heard "Preacher" was good from a co-worker! I'm a fan of the "Psycho" Franchise, so I want to see "Bates Motel" as well!

dlite357

Wow! I need to check "Maverick" out! I really loved the original "Top Gun." Has anybody seen, "Equalizer 2?" I liked that movie better than the first one! I know there is a 3rd, and I just found out yesterday that there is a 4th and 5th one in the works!

dlite357

Have you ever seen, "Iron Eagle?" That movie is pretty good. I didn't like the sequels that much, but it is good. Louis Gossett Jr. was a great actor!

KennethLu

Preacher is good but it dose take at least a few episodes to really kick into high gear and once it dose you can’t stop watching till you finish and I like that the setting is consistently in the south like Texas and New Orleans it have a real southern vibe to it, and as for Bate Motel I think I like it more than the movie don’t get me wrong the first one is good but I like how the show actually give it closure to me it the perfect ending like breaking bad it end the way it supposed to end didn’t try to drag any more than it have to I think it only 5 season 10 episodes a season I believe and Freddie Highmore and Vera Farmiga deliver a fantastic performance.

KennethLu

Dang 4 and 5 on the work I did not know that but yeah 2 is ok not as good as 1 I haven’t seen 3 so can’t comment on that but my all time favorite Denzel performance was in Training Day and Malcom X it just mesmerizing to me Top 10 movie of all time for sure and as for top gun maybe it a generational thing to me but I like the action in the first one ok but the story arc for maverick is just so good and I love how they tie everything together at the end as well and still leave room for a third film I just really enjoy it I think I watch it twice in theater once by myself and another to take a friend just to see the look on her face when she watch it for the first time.

KennethLu

I think I’ve seen him in something before he is a good actor I like him too but I have seen iron eagle tho I’ve definitely have to check it out now I love a good war film if done right.

Luz MacManus

I was hoping they'd watch the director's cut, a few of my fave scenes were missing

Luz MacManus

Love this film! The next two movies aren't the best but highly recommend Prometheus and Alien Covenant.

Rindamarie

"He don't even die for real, he just go dead" Adison referring to Bishop. LOL That's my favorite quote. I don't think it would be a spoiler to look up the cast of the film you are about to watch AND research other movies/shows they were in. I do that so I won't get distracted by 'where do I know them from?' Bill Paxton (Hudson) had a good run in a lot of sequels: Predator 2, Aliens and even Terminator 2 (very minor role). The Actress who plays Vasquez is in T2 as well. Michael Biehn (Hicks) really shone in Tombstone - paired nicely with Val Kilmer as Val was phenomenal in his role. One thing to highlight, Ripley had a daughter (on earth) in the first film. They cut the scene in the theatrical release where she learns the fate of her daughter. It's in the director's cut. It explains her immediate attachment to Newt. I appreciated the themes of motherhood and the mothers' battle at the end.

MeowCITY* 🐈‍⬛

I really appreciate y’all for the fire & consistent content as of late. Gone are the days where Adison used to deprive and kept us waiting on Breaking Bad & Sons of Anarchy episodes, we’re getting fed properly now 😂🤣

Cindy G

Hudson was also in Terminator, he was one of the punks in the beginning of the movie. 'Bishop' (Lance Henriksen) was in Terminator as one of the detectives.

Candice Batton

Me too! I loved this reaction but I forgot I only watch The Directors Cut so I’m like wait where is….🤣🤣🤣

Cindy G

'Hudson' (Bill Paxton) was in Terminator, he was one of the punks that Arnold stole clothes from in the beginning of the movie. He was also in Titanic and Predator 2. 'Bishop' (Lance Henriksen) was in Terminator as one of the detectives. 'Hicks' (Michael Biehn) was in Terminator as Kyle Reese. 'Vasquez' (Jenette Goldstein) was in Terminator 2 and Titanic.

LizB

Here’s how I would watch to complete the Alien universe: This aren’t as good as 1 or 2 but you can watch for the continuing the story: Alien 3 (1992) Alien Resurrection (1997) Or go straight to: Alien: Isolation game Prometheus (2012) Alien: Covenant (2017) Alien: Romulus (2024) Alien Earth series on Hulu And Alien vs. Predator isn’t needed for the story but it’s a good movie on its own. And has the queen Sanaa Lathan.

Gaster Grows

Finally we're watching the classics! Guys can we PLEASE have you guys watching classic GREAT films & not all this modern popcorn movie slop?

Kim Magee

Gaster Grows

prometheus & covenant are horrible too lol they bombed

Kyuubi16

Skip Aliens 3 and 4. Its not worth it. You can go to Prometheus and continue on from there.

ericg0724

Weaver, Best female action lead all time!

Crazy Taco

Woohoo! Love this one

Crazy Taco

Only thing I know for sure about jack and rose is there was definitely room on that door for boffum move over shawty dang!!

Luz MacManus

I enjoyed them both, to each their own.

xeve

Paxton and Biehn were also in Tombstone. Paxton was also in Agents of Shield if they decide to roll that into their Marvel watching.

The_Paige_Master

You guys are definitely watching the edited version. Because Ripley had a daughter who had died because Ripley outlived her while she was floating around in space. Also, you do see newt’s family get killed.

Layla

Dang adison I didn’t know u was in Florida 😭

Badger

Love this movie, hope you guys watch Alien 3, would love to see your opinion. It gets a lot of hate but I love that movie

Crazy Taco

Cant wait till yall get to Promethus and Covenant so dope give us the 3rd part already Ridley scott!!

jumpout4

Gaster Grows

Aliens is a Masterpiece especially compared to what we get today. "Ok" is just scuffed but youre entitled to your opinion

Gaster Grows

Omg are you triggered? Do you need me to kiss your boo boo & give you a lolipop?

Gaster Grows

Isolation is a masterpiece. Prometheus & Covenant & Romulus & Alien Earth all BOMBED, got horrible reviews, & are awful pieces of GARBAGE the VAST MAJORITY of audiences HATE

dlite357

I prefer the original “Alien.” I don’t need your validation for what movies I enjoy. Like I said, “Aliens” was just okay. I have the entire collection on VHS/DVD and seem the original in a drive in movie theater as a child.

Combustication07

did you happen to recognise the guy from stranger things?
