I was waiting for this reaction!! Let’s goooo!!

Serenity La’sandra

I know women FELT this episode on a personal note cause you could be overstimulated, having a hard day, grieving or just depressed, have a million things to do and that’s on ur mind… THEN U GET UR PERIOD 🫠🤣

Katie Davis

Important note: Daeron is Alicent's youngest child (and youngest son) with Viserys. He was sent away when young and he's been raised in Oldtown/with the Hightowers. His little dragon's name is Tessarion.

Latinblu

You missed where she said she was bleeding

Despicable_Dee

Facts! I just know she wanted to just tell everybody “shut up talking to me!” 😅😂😂😂

Coco Walker

Ummm Adison, you need to go rewatch the episode where the deal is made... Alicent literally only made a deal for herself, her daughter, and her granddaughter...I can only guess she gave up Aegon because he's useless to her crippled and dragon less and I don't think she really had hopes of Aemond coming off the hit list because he killed Rhaenyra's second born... Otto was never apart of the deal, in truth probably because Alicent assumed he was at Old Town safe and ready to help her scheme some more if need be, but her not knowing he was in the dungeons isn't Rhaenyra's fault....

Crystal

Can i vote on movies and shows with the family plan teir? Do you post polls?

Coco Walker

And Alicent being self righteous "I must hope you capture and kill my son..." Like be so for real...She sees the writing on the wall as far as the fact that she's probably going to end up losing several of her own children and now she wants to pivot into "save who I can" mode when all of this is her doing... Her jealousy and resentment of Rhaenyra having freedoms and living her life unafraid to buck against the patriarchy and having a father that cared enough to stand by her even if she was out of order(as if she were a son)led her to make it her mission to oppose her since the whole "Did you sleep with a man?" And Viserys stood by Rhaenyra even though he knew the truth. Alicent thought she could control her sons and have power and do as she pleased only for those sons to remind her that she's just a woman as soon as they were grown enough to do so...I still don't feel bad for her. Haelena, I feel a smidge bad for, but Alicent is reaping everything that that fake love and jealousy has sowwed IMO 🤷🏿‍♀️.

Caleb Weir

The goat for getting this uploaded so quick!

patricepsg1

Sword swallower is insane!!! 😩

Eddie

This whole episode had me anxious… that’s good acting

jasmin

shoutout to adison not being team black or team green🗣️

Coco Walker

The factual facts of it all!!! And the thing is, no matter your status, you're rarely in a position to just say "screw it" and sequester in your bed (or designated safe space)until you actually feel okay to carry on with life...🙄

Now listen, Corlys is one of my favorite characters.. However I feel like it's unfair of him to be asking for things when he knows Rhaenyra is struggling within her first few days on the throne. Also the difference between her sons and his, is that her husband (Laenor) at least claimed and acknowledged the three boys as his own. Even though he knew they weren't biologically his but he did so because he himself wasn't able to give her children. Where Corlys is only now claiming his sons, which is what he should've done to begin with despite being married to someone who wasn't their mother. It's a tough predicament either way but I just don't think he should be so quick about being upset when it's his own fault for ignoring Alyn and Addam all their lives until they all of a sudden came up without his help. The least he could've done is acknowledge that he had these two bastard sons from the beginning and then ask them to be legitimized at a better moment. (P.s. I am a bastard child myself who has a biological father who ignored me my whole life, only to try being close to me to impress his new wife twenty years too late lol so it's a little close to home for me)

Coco Walker

I mean... One could say Viserys was impartial between black and green as well... And we see how that turned out 😂

Coco Walker

I see what you're saying, but there are a lot of nobles (and higher ranking ones at that) that were willing to keep their oath to Rhaenyra from when Viserys named her heir... If she were smart, she'd rally their houses and aid them to restore themselves... This particular episode, while showing the rock and hard place she's in does illuminate the fact that she's her father's daughter and exercising maybe a tad bit too much fairness... Anyone else would simply confiscate the bounty of those truly loyal to the Greens, restore those who suffered for showing her loyalty, appropriate some of the confiscated goods to feed the people and reward those who have helped her take the throne physically... And they would've shown mercy to the counselors on dragon stone because they literally went to her even though the greens had the kingdom on lock... She's afraid to make any decisive moves and that's valid, but she's not at a point where she can be the ruler she wishes to be, she's gonna have to put more blood, sweat, and tears in before she gets there.

Taurean Reign

y'all missed when she said she was bleeding. hence why she sat sideways on the throne and sounded like she wanted to not be there in front of those people. That could hurt her in the long run (if it was the only thing that could hurt her)

jasmin

nah viserys wanted to support both though if he said bump both maybe it woulda turned it different

Katie Davis

Rhaenyra's remaining children are: Joffrey (brown hair - from her marriage to Laenor but really a child by Ser Harwin Strong) Aegon III and Viserys II (both children by Daemon)

Tianah Morales

So the dumbest move that Rhaenyra made was getting Corlys on her bad side.. after EVERYTHING he did for her and gave up for her smh THAT was one of the worst moves she could’ve made.. there should’ve been no hesitation with a yes to his request.. SHE is ashamed but he deserves to have his bloodline continue.. Corlys is one of my favorite characters cause at the end of the day he was always on Rhaenyra’s side.. I’m so disappointed in her decision of this smh

Makosmom

Are ya’ll ever going to continue Stranger Things?

Avishai

The rats thing was the right move. You have to remember one of the main lessons ASOIAF teaches us. you can't be respectful and soft to the kingdom. they respect a certain kind of heavy hand. now robbing everything they have, that might be a step too far. but feeding them what the poor have to eat and taking like half of they stuff. that's what I would do. because to disrespect my people is to disrespect me. so for that, this what happens when you disrespect me. and honestly that's a courtesy because any other king would've had half y'all killed then asked if y'all wanted to share your stuff now lol. Whatever y'all woulda did, if it wasn't that harsh, y'all getting walked over as a king or queen. that's just the messed up world we live in unfortunately.

Roland Giles

Heh! I think Adison should ask the lil’ lady that made up that character - slash - family tree information grid for his Game of Thrones reactions with the newbies to do one for HOTD, as well. ‘Cuz the history and family line on this show is mixed more than a pack of Skittles.

Dylan

Corlys buggin out for shouting at her in the eyes of other people. I get his frustration though

PatronPioneer

Lord Strong's son was the Leader of the City Watch who is Jace and Luke's dad...so they were still nobles...not "commoners" Like Adam and Alyn and you guys were trying to figure out. I guess that's why Rhaenyra feels like her kids were "better"

Chris Ogungbe

Personally, I kind of understood why Damon didn’t bring dearon dragon with him. I don’t think it will be smart to leave a prisoner with his dragon nearby it would literally be like a prisoner nowadays having a gun with them what happens if he escaped all he needs to do is get to his dragon just the same way rhaenys did

PatronPioneer

They are wasting too much time lol... I'd rally my six dragons and go burn Ormund and all of Harrenhal😠...thee end ❗️❗️

PatronPioneer

Yes...his partner talks way too much at the worst times lol... love them though

Aidan A Phifer

I'm more confused that she agreed to roll over for Rhaenyra and invite her to Kingslanding at all. She should have known from the get go that she was never going to see her kids again once Rhaenyra was in power. She also should have definitely known that people were going to die than just Aegon- Daemon is Rhaenyra's King and advisor. I would feel bad for Helaena more if she acted like she cared that her son Jaehaerys died, that death was still Daemon's fault and its weird that characters just don't talk about it now. "A son for a son."

Aidan A Phifer

I'm not mad at it either, Rhaenyra was crazy for not completing that request. She would absolutely not be on the throne without his help.

Coco Walker

I mean, I did feel almost exactly as you did... But the more I watched the more I came to the conclusion that Alicent raised Helaena to be a more docile version of herself: As a princess in the traditional role and not as heir to the throne, she was never gonna marry down nor for love because her mate was gonna have to be calculated to undermine Rhaenyra's position... So they told her to marry her elder brother who was a creep and degenerate, that's what she did. She was probably instructed to pop out heirs for him, and that's what she did... She might have something else to her, what with her having visions and probably inheriting a more potent but just as cryptic and unexplained version of Viserys' visions, but otherwise she's simply a girl of high status who has bowed to the weight of the patriarchy... I think the lack of reaction about her son being m#rdered is a bit of her not being all the way there mentally, and maybe relief that with him being gone she doesn't have to worry about her mother or grandfather dragging him and herself by proxy into anymore schemes...

Coco Walker

Him wanting to support both and not making a public show of clear preference to either of his children is a form of impartiality... Had he been more firm from the jump on standing ten toes for Rhaenyra's spot as his heir and been completely firm and intentional with Otto/his counsel and Alicent without allowing room for argument, or had he pivoted and made it public and thrown his own support behind Aegon then maybe things would have been different... But having a counsel ran by the grandfather of living, breathing threats to Rhaenyra's claim and then only insisting he wasn't bumping her from her spot only when he himself was put on the spot and had no choice but to come out and publicly say so was him trying to be impartial and mirror his grandfather Jaeherys. Which was the worst thing he could do considering how he himself was placed on the throne through a combo of patriarchal tradition and fluke of birth order... His character was such that unless there was a sudden Danearys-like shift in him and he kept his non confrontational, reconciliation leaning nature, he was doomed leave a mess and not even 40 years after he gained the throne, not only was Westeros right back in the "no CRYSTAL clear line of succession" that landed him in the seat, but a full out war has broken out between all of his own potential heirs... It's a failure of the highest order as far as monarchial duties go...

Targary

adsion you’re still not getting it….whatever the terms were otto was gonna be beheaded either way. “that’s her son” yes the usuper!

MeowCITY* 🐈‍⬛

Corlys is out of line. Rhae didn’t say no; she said not right now, which is understandable given the current situation. And let’s not forget that he himself took forever to acknowledge them, even Rhaenys tried to talk to him about it when she was alive. It would’ve been understandable if he was annoyed, but calling those boys b*stards to her face was beyond foul. His crash out was excessive.

Chanel B W

Find it funny that most are rooting for a woman that would be a modern day Maury povich guest 🤣🤣🤣..I'm for noone at this point just watching decent TV

Bunnisox 🐇

YEEEEESSS! My anxiety was at 100% through this whole episode. Tension through my whole body. I let out a huge sigh of relief when it ended! I told my mom "I did NOT like the way that episode made me feel." lol... it was too real.

A. P.

Hold on now not too much on lil Rhae Rhae Adison. She honestly is being far more gracious to Alicent than she has to be. We definitely know Daemon would've smoked every Hightower he could find, and anyone who stood with them. She just stepped into office and realizing she got rats all around the crib, inherited empty storerooms and an empty bank, found out she been lied to after showing grace to her enemy, and started her menstrual cycle all at the same time and that's like half of what she dealing with. She definitely should've handled Corlys better though.

Henny

Alicent said ‘let me take my daughter and her child’ that was the entire agreement. She had no idea her father was there so everyone else in the red keep she basically said was free game. she knew her father was somewhere and didn’t plead for his life OR her others son.

Henny

Did you watch the show? When aegon was born and ppl thought his daughter would be tossed aside for a male he was furious. He never wavered in her being heir. He was never impartial. Aemond even says his father didn’t like them or spend time with them. Viserys messed up because he was in love with rhaenyra’s mother and never forgot her and also favored his first born child and tried to keep the peace but they all knew what was up.

Henny

But old town wouldn’t be safe for him after she became queen so Alicent knew exactly what she was doing. She didn’t even plead for her other child there that had nothing to do with it. Because at the end of the day she knew rhaenyra was more honorable to the innocent. Like they’re in a nice room and yelling at her for not being able to leave but they would have never given her that courtesy.

Henny

How was her son’s deaths her doing? She did nothing except be the true heir. Lucerys was murdered just having being an ambassador to a house she thought she could trust. Then Jace who she told time and time again not to go to war locked her in her room while her own queens guard sat there and died going to war. So if you let them leave you’re wrong and if you keep them from leaving you’re wrong?

grandma

I really enjoy all your reactions, even if the show is not that great. Have you considered watching Antwone Fisher or Men of Honor?

Unavailable

We the same I’m not team green or team black. I’m here for The Calamity. My two favorite is Aemond & Daemon.

Malimal

Great reaction. I need you, B3, and Brandon to react to The Polygamist. Y’all will act a fool during that 😂

Nina

Corlys must see that this is not the right request to ask at this moment. He wants to make good with Alyn and have a male heir as soon as possible, without even considering if it can be done and, more importantly, the rights and feelings of his granddaughters who are his heirs at the moment. How can Rhaenyra take away Baela's inheritance and give it to a man as soon as she has claimed the throne? This would be hypocritical at best and that's not even considering her sons...

PatronPioneer

I would have been screaming Dracarys all day... left and right!!!! 🤣🤣🤣

T.wiley

Hey, is there a way to view the avatar the last Airbender anime full series? I can only find a few of the reactions

Coco Walker

Old Town would be safe enough... I mean we have yet to see Daemon or Rhaenyra pull up with their dragons and let the fire loose, and considering that that's Alicent's hometown and a place of relative known concentrated opps to her claim to the throne and they haven't pulled up, it leaves one to assume that it's safe enough...But that's just me and my logic...

Queen S

The queen is trying to do her duties but everything was thrown at her all at once her period 😞 started that alone is a horrible mess the maid said she will bring her some cloth N No! Her son just died a day ago I think I would have been like Daenerys I would have had my dragon burn up everything especially at the end when the dragon trainer came and gave me that news that would have been it for me And I think Corlys was right in how he felt can't wait episode I hope they don't take his head for it

MabelandMargaret

They miss a lot when Addison is working on his tight five comedy routine. lol

MabelandMargaret

Corlys denied those boys for 30 years then wanna act mad when she doesn't jump to it *at that moment.*

Danielle Wade

This was like a day in the life episode. It was shot really interestingly.

Donna LaPorte

Brandon, I know I'm old enough to be your mom probably, but you are looking fine today!!! Nice fit.

La Toya Sheri

This show has gotten so much better as it goes on. I was worried at first when I started it and it took a few episodes for me to get into it but once I was in I was so invested and still am.

NoOneStark420

Right they are soooo hard on Rhaenyra

NoOneStark420

Anyone else would of killed Alicent and her daughter.....
