It's time!!! I can tell this is one of those films that was extremely beautiful to watch in the theatre but I still enjoyed either way. It's been a while since I've seen such a heart warming science fiction film so I was glad this came on my radar. Hope y'all enjoy my uncut reaction to Project: Hail Mary.

P.S. How many of y'all are going back to save a rock?...(asking for a friend)

Yayyy!!! This is a great movie. Ive watched it so many times

CincoDeManny

Been waiting for this to drop!

Tami Hart

Space is both breathtakingly gorgeous and TERRIFYING at the same time, but I’m too scared of heights to go in the first place 😂

KenyBeans

This is one of my favorite movies. Watched it three times in the theater. I’m ready for everyone to fall in love with the rock❤️

dlite357

I’m officially certified “different.” I don’t understand the hype surrounding this movie. I was bored. I felt the same way about the “Michael” movie.

everydaynegroes

I have a feeling you will like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon though!!! #OTW -Adison

Perfection Akinwande

This film reminds me of the Martian, Adi have you ever seen the Martian with Matt Damon? I think you’d really like it !!

Mayhem

Wow. You’re so quirky. I bet you’re not like the other girls.

dlite357

Oh! Ok! You got my attention now! 😂❤️ That’s a surprise! Thank you!

Tiny_Dessy

the live reaction to this had us in chat spiraling 🤣🤣🤣

Perfection Akinwande

That was a lovely film !! I’m still mad how they did my boy though 🙄

ChristinaVVM

I believe the author of The Martian also wrote this.

NoOneStark420

The lady who made him go went to prison.

NoOneStark420

Y would he want to come back to earth when they forced him to go, and rocky said to think about if he wanted to go home for long time. He doesnt want to go home, I dont blame him. He did his part he sent the stuff back. He went back to save rocky and rockys planet, not just a rock.

FindingMyJoi

I love this movie SO much. It inspires so much hope and selflessness. We need more movies like this! 🥰 Thank you for reacting. I never thought I would get into reaction videos but I love hearing your perspective.

LilLeaf

Yay so happy for this

Sweet Peas

Project "Hail Mary," Full of Grace! :-)

Sweet Peas

Same Author. Andy Weir. He just has a quirkiness about him!

1. Strat did NOTHING wrong. We’re talking about the death of billions because of you being scared to die? Yeah buddy your going whether you like it or not. 2. If you look at her neck in the ending again you’ll see she has a prison tattoo on it which hints that she actually got in trouble for the things she did. 3. Look from graces pov. He has noone. No mother or father, no girlfriend or friends, not even a dog as strat says. He has no reason to go back to earth and every reason to go save rocky. He is 95% the reason graces mission was a success. 4. You saying rocky is just a rock is wrong. He is a extremely highly intelligent sentient being who was willing to experience a miserable lonely 6 extra years so grace could go back to earth. Also if anyone loved this movie and likes books i would suggest reading the book. It is 10 times better than this movie which to me is a 10/10.

Ashlyn41

You should watch The Martian. the guy who worte the book Project Hail Mary also wrote the book the movie adapted it from. Matt Damon is good in this.

Rah29

I’m giving this movie a 👎🏾 just like Rocky would

Carlo

Love this movie.. Real Definition of Friendship

Jess Tyrell

“They hit rock bottom” Addison you wrong 😂😂

Danger Tomato

You watched this amazing movie by yourself 😔

Jake Signal Music

I got in trouble on discord (automod) for being so excited about your reaction to this film I prolly misspelled something it didnt like hahaha. Speaking of which I 1000% neglected to send in the next in the war films that change you series after Warfare. I watched your reaction more then once to that.

Jake Signal Music

Ship: Hail Mary Human in the ship: Dr. Grace Equals Hail Mary full of Grace

Pankaj Yadav

This movie was a expriance in theater

Kadeem

Ngl, if my fellow humans forced me onto a spaceship and the journey involved me never coming back home..I’d turn back for my rock friend too😂only one I can trust

Rin Tetsuki

Rocky is more than just a rock! This was a really good movie tho

Twee-G

It wouldn’t have even been a second thought. I would’ve saved Rocky and stayed on his planet too 🚀👎

Trev

Nah definitely can't blame Grace for saving Rocky, choosing friendship over greed lol he don't care about no statues in every high school or being the face on any $100 bill. Pretty selfless since they did force this upon him

Tyann

You should watch 'spaceman' it's basically hail Mary but more grownup. Adam Sandler plays the lead and plays a serious role but he does such a good job like his acting really hits hard in that movie. Its a beautiful movie with alot of the same themes as Hail Mary. Spaceman was on Netflix, pretty sure it's still on Netflix (I watched it while I was pregnant and oh man... that might've been a mistake haha I cried soooooo much!) I mean hail mary had me crying too but spaceman really got to me. Its also if you can believe it, even more beautiful visually than hail mary.

Kenia Ortiz

I was sobbing for the last hour of the movie. My boyfriend held my hand to comfort me because I couldn’t handle it😂 Rocky had me coming out of the theater with smeared mascara, snot and half of my foundation on because of how hard I cried

Kareemah

Please do this one live. It's one of my favorite movies. I still have the DVD.

Kareemah

It indeed was a good time.

Kareemah

He wasn't alone. He had his EDN family with him. Sometimes, I enjoy his solo reactions more. Love the team but I love the surprise pop-ups.

Danger Tomato

Yeah I guess its better cuz i can actually hear the movie when 4 people aren't talking

dlite357

It’s already on the schedule, which indicates he’s already reacted to it.

Only Zuul

I know you were thinking: "How did this man go back to save a Rock?" Well, he definitely owed him. The movie really makes it seem like Rocky and Grace are on the same level. This couldn't be further from the truth. Rocky is a literal GENIUS with a photographic memory. Grace would never have gotten as far as he did without him. He also risked his own life to save Grace, as we saw. However, it's about more than that. He went back for Rocky because he knew his entire world would have died. He saved a whole species! He finally got to play the hero, because it was a pretty chicken shit move not to want to go. I'm sorry, but there was no one else. In the book, there are way more intense stakes (only a fraction of people in the world carry the gene that will allow them to stay in an induced coma). Not sure why the movie didn't mention this - I think they were trying to make Grace out to be a better man than he really was. If he didn't go, there was no one else. And what would he be returning to? I don't think you noticed, but Stratt aged significantly in her final scene. And she was in the middle of the ocean, which was covered in ice! The planet was dying, and they got the information they needed just in time. But seriously, Grace has been gone DECADES! Everyone he ever knew or loved will be gone. Great reaction, as always!

La Toya Sheri

Finally watching this reaction.i try to watch them all some multiple times in the walking dead. I just started the rewatch on seasn 1 episode 3. Some of my fav reactions. Can't wait for von to see it too.

Magus

i dunno if he picked up on the thumbs down meaning thumbs up because rocky didnt have wrists to be able to rotate it

Magus

gotta say was a bit disappointed in how rocky was just a rock to you. perhaps you just havent seen enough sci-fi. but if we assume that god is real, which we all know how religious you are, then god created this entire universe... which is mad to think about, but also very narcissistic that humans would think such a powerful being would have earth under microscope. but it is the human way. everything is all about us. we used to execute people for trying to teach what we now know as scientific facts. maybe you just havent seen enough scifi to be open minded about other intellectual beings and that they should be treated as equals. but your opinion of rocky was a bit racist by sci-fi standards.
