Commission for steppenfire here and over on FA. Part two coming in February! :) 

Commission disclaimer: I love drawing all sorts of different situations and fetishes with my characters in commissions, but they are not canon to the normal comics (non-commissions). If I made everything perfectly canon to the main storyline I would be so limited in what I produced and that is no fun for anyone. I like to think my stable commissions are in a parallel dimension, where all sorts of wild things can happen >:) If you are wondering if something is canon look for the commission tag: if its a commission consider it non-canon.

RIP clothes as they rarely seem to survive tfs. Also he's going to make a nice looking quadrupedal stallion.

What none of ya’ll realize is that Brush — through a cutout — runs an outfitter store at a hefty markup.

That is certainly true even if most clothes are more durable and stretchy than tfs would have one believe. They still wouldn't hold up to something like a horse tf (and be quite painful before things split) but I'd doubt they'd actually shred completely like most tfs do. Don't get me wrong though as clothing destruction does tend to make for more fun of a tf.

I think most TF fans know that closing wouldn't simply tear into shreds ^^ And I agree with you, it would be really painful in real life. But of course the tearing of clothes symbolizes the loss of control and sophistication. In the case of Step here, he probably just didn't expect the transformation to start so fast :)
