Fitting that our CREATURES OF THE NIGHT 2026 CARD 03 should be about THE THREE, the villains I introduced in the ZAHN mini comic, FOOLISH PACT!

ZAHN isn't a character that I pull out very often, but when I came up with THE THREE and the idea of them essentially having a go at ZAHN and doing whatever they wanted with him, I thought, "I have to make these characters truly strange and bizarre... like something I've never done before." I don't think anyone can argue that they didn't turn out that way. XD

Let's just say drawing these very odd bad guys with the Son of Winter led to some of the most strangely, dare I say inventive and complex sexual poses I think I've ever drawn in my career. Good fun, good times, and it's all thanks to these three villains that came out of nowhere and that still today have people asking me if we'll see them return. And to that I say, anything is possible, especially given the wickedly entertaining mayhem that they can cause in a comic.

God damn it, these three are such HUNKS! The story was a blast to read back then, sooo sexy, and absolutely creative! Loved the way they used Zahn. The card is sooo well done too, all three of them look like a stallion out of an erotic fantasy novel, posing like pros and the use of colours works so well on them too! Zahn is a sight to see as well, his body and pose make me lust for more in no time. Great work man, as always!

Definitely one of the sexiest and most inventive creatures you've ever come up with in your stories, Patrick! I still love this comic, the sex positions you pulled out of the bag to take advantage of their powers were some of the most creative work you've ever done, not to mention the hottest! I definitely wouldn't mind seeing the Three (or the One, after how that comic ended) make a return and put those holes to good use. Great work with this card, I loved this reminder!

Love!! Would be incredible to see a chapter 2; I can especially imagine more steamy, kinky sex scenes between Zahn and Sarpayne leading up to their return ;)

Thank you so much, my dear Conor. I love how much you enjoyed this story and that it still resonates with you. I would love to bring THE THREE, or as you pointed out, THE ONE back, because they were so different and unusual to play with. They permitted me to create some really different positions for Zahn to get into, and I think it would be really fun to see them interact either with Zahn again or with different characters this time. Who knows? Maybe they could escape from Varda and go to Earth and torment some of my other hunks there? Who's to say? The possibilities are endless. I think THE THREE are quite unique as villains go, and whether they are now three or only one who is seeking vengeance, I feel there's some great potential and content to be created with them.
