Thank you to everyone for your continued support. We’re pleased to share with you the recording of our recent community event “Can you trust the news? Q&A on Russian propaganda and disinformation” with experts Alona Hurkivska and Keir Giles, moderated by Martin Fornusek, senior news editor at the Kyiv Independent.

This event was organized following direct requests from our community members — many of you told us you wanted guidance on how to distinguish reliable news from disinformation, better understand how Russian propaganda operates, and learn which sources can be trusted in today’s information space.

During the Q&A, Hurkivska and Giles answered members’ questions about propaganda, disinformation, and information warfare. They discussed how fake news is created and spread, how to recognize manipulations, and what tools you can use to verify the information you consume.
