Dear Patrons,
Thank you for staying with us through this turbulent time. The Kyiv Independent team is staying strong and focused despite all the horrors Russians leave behind as our cities and towns get liberated. It is thanks to your continuous support that we are now able to do our jobs.
It’s been over 40 days since Russia started its attempted invasion of our country and all of Ukrainians have been fighting on different fronts to defend our land and people. The Kyiv Independent has become a true voice of Ukraine in the world and we are proud to be serving this mission.
Since the beginning of the war our followership has grown immensely across all platforms.
As of March 30, 2022 we have:
~ 2 million readers on Twitter;
~ 51,800 followers on Instagram;
~ 52,800 subscribers on Telegram;
~ 9,400 newsletter subscribers
~ Over 11.2 million page views on the kyivindependent.com since the war started
We are working on partnerships that would help us make sure that our content is accessible in different languages. The partnerships are soon to be announced. However, war fatigue is beginning to show. We already see that people around the world start losing interest in what’s going on in Ukraine and start coming back to their normal lives.
But our fight is far from over and we desperately need the world’s attention. As our ambassadors, we ask you for help.
Please share our content in your communities, on your social media, with your friends and family, and ask them to do the same. The world has to know about Russian atrocities in Ukraine, the people in democratic countries have to keep pressuring their governments to support Ukraine. We will make sure they have all the information to do that.
Here are some of our stories you can share. All of them are produced by our staff or freelance reporters working on the ground in Ukraine:
