Q&A with Defense Reporter Illia Ponomarenko (Patreon)

Hi everyone!

We are organizing our first community event since Russia launched its all-out war on Feb. 24. Next week, on Wednesday at 9 p.m. Kyiv time (2 p.m. ET), we’ll hold a Q&A session with our Defense Reporter Illia Ponomarenko.

Illia has been reporting on Russia’s war against Ukraine since 2014. He has also had deployments to Palestine and the DR Congo as an embedded reporter with UN peacekeeping forces.

Illya will answer your questions and share his experience of how it is to be a war reporter during Europe’s deadliest war since WWII, happening in his own country.

We hope to see you there!
