I think a change to the crew format would make sense at one point. Something like "straw hats are off limits" or like 3 or 4 slots for straw hats and 3 or 4 for other characters, maybe even each group with a captain or sth, dunno.

nami's entire arc up to her saying help had me in tears, her back story is sad and i love the focus on strong women like bellemere and how she influenced nami to be who she is. nami's va is also superior like her voice brought out a rage within me i didn't know i had and then the "leave, leave" section god her va give 200%. nami and luffy also my fav bond between the crew so the entire scene is soooo special. barely any words had to be said but him giving her his hat was literally him saying she's his treasure (platonic ofc) oh it's soooo special

really curious about your thoughts regarding the characters that were scraped off in the live action (like yakuza and johnny and hachi (the helpful octopus) even though they had a bigger impact in the anime and were not random characters that showed up for a scene or two. some fans were ok with that decision considering how many side characters there are in one piece and putting into consideration the budget, it made sense to cut down on the number of appearances within a season. but as new viewers of the show, do you think it was a shame you didn't get to meet them in the live action?
