Goddamn that new guitar cover was sick. Awesome as always Ange

Arma

"Believe" is one of my favourite classic One Piece openings, and your cover is AWESOME! Are you planning on reacting to the OPs/EDs down the line? Maybe at the end of each saga?

We'll likely do a big video rather than individual reactions. You can expect that in around 5-6 years 🤣 All jokes aside, we likely will do One Piece opening reactions but we're not sure how we'll tackle them just yet!

YSRGAMES

Oh yeah the new cover I need as a ringtone.

Cayseron

Captain Coby takes the stage :)

Kaycee

Idk if you remember but Garp briefly wore a dog hat in the live action as well lol. His ship also had a dog on it. It didn’t look as friendly as this one haha.

You should do an opening after an arc ends, I suppose your mods can let you know when it happens.

DandyZombie

Garp is such a weird dude

About Mangaka being friends / good coworkers: Toriyama was a Mentor to Oda and Kishimoto (Naruto). If these two had any Problems, they went to ask Toriyama(-Sensei) for Tips how to tackle these. When Toriyama died, Oda even took a 4 Week break to mourn his friend and take care of his own health. Kishimoto and Oda both helped each other out aswell and on the last Page of Naruto you will find a One Piece Strawhat Jolly Roger on Narutos Stone Face Headband as a Goodbye from Kishi who left Shonen Jump as a Author that day to Oda. Also; Many Editors over the years that worked on One Piece started their own careers and built a relationship to Oda similar to Oda's relation to Toriyama. These Mangaka dont have a great life, working weekly on releasing Chapters for Shonen Jump, but its their dream. Horikoshi i. e. just finished My Hero Academia and Oda re-released that Picture from Hori as a Coverart with "Hero Aca(demia)" written in the Smoke of Smoker as a farewell. He also wrote "does that mean you can now play Pokemon Go! all day long?" (Oda is a little bit Pokemon Go addicted) So yeah i guess at least the Mangaka around Oda are all friends with each other.

darling

New guitar cover was so good!

Rodrigo García

Just a heads-up, you should watch the openings at the end of every arc not the beginning. Specially for One Piece there's tons of spoilers.

That was a sick guitar intro! Idk is you guys have seen this (non-spoiler) trivia but the plan was originally that Miss Wednesday was a completely separate character and the princess would be a different person which is why they seem VERY different people from when we met Miss Wednesday and Mr 9 inside Laboon and now when she's openly Princess Vivi.

I was waiting for this reaction because Ange's Coby love would finally be rewarded! Bear in mind Coby is a regular human and he's become so much braver and with more conviction than when we met him literally being a ship slave for Alvida because he didn't have the guts to try and escape her.

fr0st

On mangaka supporting each other, IDK if you guys already know this but also a non-spoiler bit of trivia: Sanji was originally going to be named Naruto but because of the ninja manga coming up in Shonen Jump, Oda changed the name to Sanji to prevent confusion.

They made him way more coherent and serious in the live action. The man's an absolute nutter in the anime xD

Mojira

Have you all seen the remake of One piece, THE One Piece. Dayummmm, it looks insanely good!

CallMeIsaac

The guitar cover was AMAZING

Eh I think they did a good job considering what Garps goal is in the different introduction.

Stefan

joaniewwh3502

Budats

Sick OP cover!!!

Kaiju Kes

The new OP is fantastic btw. Well done!

juniebjones

someone else mentioned it already, but the smoker fanart sent in by 15 year old horikoshi was redrawn by oda and was chapter 1122's (the most recent one released last week) cover page. it was done as a send off to horikoshi for finishing my hero and was captioned "cover request: redraw the artwork of smoker a boy from aichi prefecture submitted 22 years ago". wild to think that his fan sent that in as a young teen, became a mangaka himself, drew his work for a decade before finishing and yet one piece is STILL going

Travis Miosi

I got chills with the new opening. So Hyped! Something about hearing all these openings being shredded on the guitar. Also, have wanted to say for a while that I love how y'all integrated the mid show jingle into your patreon thing :)

omggg the guitar cover SLAPPPS

Brandon Rodriguez

Coby is by far my favorite character in one piece he’s a lurking legend

G0stQeD `

Luffy vs zoro was totally in control of odas writing and is also in character for both of them. This being forced into the manga is some myth. There are in fact a lot of these myths around in the one piece fandom. But you cant find any evidence for this one.
