btw I love how you said Mina is like Levi because of how badass she is but there actually is a very Levi-like character you'll meet later on and he's one of my faves from the show! xD

Hiro

Really like your intro cover to this one @Ange

Same I love any character that gives me Levi heichou vibes and he was just it xD plus his Kansai accent makes him even cooler!

Meg

Kafka is indeed a very lovable main character. I love how they added that humorous element to his personality and the way he uses his humor to adapt to such a life altering change he went through. I found it very refreshing.

Zel

Can't wait for next episode🥰

Glad you guys are enjoying it so far!! I know the 2nd season has been confirmed, I'm super pumped for it :)

CastSenpai

Loving it already is a great sign when this series gets so much better as it goes on.

Matthias

So the main character is called kafka in reference to an austrian author named Franz Kafka who wrote a quite popular "classical" piece of litterature called Metamorphosis. Metamorphosis tell the tale of a man turning into a monster.

Crytica

I was taking a sip of my drink right as Carlie said "The piss nips" and I spat my drank all over my keyboard thanks to that! Omg, I almost choked of laughing from how much that caught me off guard lmao!

Alderanex

Maybe this will help you remember, kawa means „river“ and as such is often used in surnames (and of course geography), waka would be a kind of Japanese poem, so, weird to be named after ;-) And Ichi is „one“. Other often used geographic terms in names would be yama (mountain) or hama (beach) or miya (palace). Anyway, great reaction, maybe some prewatching, maybe not, love your theories, keep ‘em coming.

LordPain

The VA for Kikoru also plays Power from chainsaw man, love her

MrWell

Please, no one can be the Levi of any show but Levi himself haha but there are characters who do come quite close. 😉 (I don't want to spoil anything further xD)

charr lotte

"Mate is lactating" "piss nibs" 😭😭
