Nice few episodes to wrap up the series! No immediate plans to choose a replacement series just yet because we still have plenty of shows we're watching at the moment. But this sort of slot for slice of life/romance shows will return shortly!

Are you guys not going to watch the missing pieces season as well?

Daniel Molina

For ppl who have seen missing pieces is it worth watching or should I just read the manga? 🤔

n Ferrante

Watch Nana you will Like it is a mix of music and romance Like your lie in april .

I've not read the manga, but if you enjoyed the show and want to see more then you should definitely watch the missing pieces. It's probably a little worse overall but it's not bad, probably funnier than the main season.

Definitely watch it, some of the episodes are funnier than the first season and it really gives the series a nice rounded feeling

beannieswife

I’ll never give up on recommending ouran high school host club🗣️ (I know this slot is for YouTube reactions but I still have to speak my truth🏋️)

Katherine Claire

Please consider watching A Sign of Affection (about a deaf girl) or Tomo-Chan is A Girl (about a tomboy) ☺️🫶🏻

Kelvin

I wonder if Bunny Girl Senpai would be a good recommendation.

Jihan Febirizky Aulia

You are gonna watch the missing piece, right? its so wholesome!!!

Semir Tahir

Damn! Carlie really went there with the whipped cream huh?

Jeff

My adventures with superman its a new show didn't expect the romance to be good as heck superman and louise is super cute the art style is fantastic

Aiyuu

Please consider watching the missing pieces season too! It’s so much fun and very wholesome. The episodes aren’t in proper order but it does explore the relationship between the characters deeper (and their backstories too). It’s a good slice of life comedy anime that’ll make you laugh a lot.

MrYinYang

Just wanted to say the seiyuu (voice actor) for Miyamura - Uchiyama, Kouki is so good! Same voice actor for Tsukki (Haikyuu), Meruem (HxH), Shigaraki (MHA main antagonist)

Gene Arias

I really hope you guys can watch the missing pieces, they have a lot context to a lot things that happened and we missed because they weren't added into season 1

Starzlix

damn i thought you guys would watch the missing pieces as well haha

ImZeaT

NOOO 😭 I really thought you guys would watch The Missing Pieces... You're missing out on so many amazing moments... Did you guys just not like it as much? Because I'm pretty sure when people vote for something, they also vote for Season 2, no? If you don't want to watch it because Horimiya wasn't that interesting to you, I respect that, but I still think you miss out on half the story...

AttackRunRepeat

I love the slice of life romance slot. Not too many other reactors watch them so it's nice to give some limelight to the shorter romance series. Gonna throw out Wotakoi and My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 as recommendations.

Just so you have an idea of what you'd be getting into, the first half of S2 Ep 1 takes place when he had long hair, while the second half took place when he had short hair. While I recognize that the "telling a story out of order" damage was already done and thus their hands were tied, this left a bad taste in my mouth. I would suggest reading the manga first and THEN watching S2 if you're still interested in watching it because, as an anime-only fan, it gets hard to follow.

idk

For the next slot if you want more adult romance style watch NANA, or if you want the slice of life typical romance. Watch ao haru ride. They’re both my favesssss

Nessa.

YES, let's keep on recommendating that great show that will provide great discussions !!

Nessa.

Please, if you make a poll, add Ouran High School Host Club (romcom) or Run with the wind (sports/slice of life animé). Please please please. :')

Nessa.
>>148204197

I was actually going to recommend that show in the comments haha

Caraxes🐐DT

Hope fruits baskets on the poll next time

Jesus Rocha

Is inuyasha a good candidate? I mean mo other anime has romance, comedy, fantasy, horror and adventure. I hope to see Inuyasha. Amazing characters and music as well.

Bendle

1 up for the missing pieces.

JN

Finally Wotakoi??

JN
>>148246618

Too many episodes and filler. Maybe replace the other shonen spots.

JN

I wonder what the people are feeling, if they want to see you guys react to Clannad. Romcom + Tearjearker drama akin to Violet Evergarden. One of the biggest names in anime. Carlie will go through several tissue boxes.

Hiro

Missing pieces and Openings plssss. Ty

lilcig

“The Dangers in My Heart” is really good

Yara

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE WATCH CLANNAD + CLANNAD AFTER STORY. IT'LL RUIN YOUR LIVES [its very good]

Yara
>>148262354

its also an anime classic. its one of those slice of life animes that was the foundation of a lot of slice of life today :))

Jesus Rocha
>>148246618

Yeah the amount of episodes is definitely scary so I understand that but another Shonen no please. One Piece and My Hero Academia are enough Shonen already. But regardless Inuyasha is a fun watch. I’m assuming Oshi No Ko S2 is next.

Haru [春]

Please watch Kimi ni Todoke 🙏

Xaniss

The dangers in my heart better be on the poll again next time lol

Jeff

please continue to pieces its more funny and wholesome is swear guys and there is a flashback about hori's parents its amazing

gmil

fruits basket 👀

Daisuke

I would recommend Kimi ni Todoke, it's a great just like pure wholesome and cute series, it is longer than this series though. Fruits Basket is great, pretty deep and cute too. Ore Monogatari!! is another good one I haven't seen many react to in a while. AND a lesser known one is Engaged to the Unidentified which is a sweet shorter one.

Raul Velazquez

The dangers in my heart would be a great replacement imo

Raul Velazquez

12:40 in the last episode that whole sequence before this was what he imagined his high school ending would have been like if he never had ran into her brother in episode 1. Not sure if you guys picked up on that but you guys seemed confused.

JAMES D'ALESSANDRO

Pieces might be better than season 1. You guys should watch it even if you do not react to it.

chloe

please watch pieces!!

Carlie & Ange

Hey! We’re sorry to disappoint you. The decision has mainly come down to the fact that we have so many series that we are watching right now and we need a little bit of a breather. We did like Horimiya but probably not enough to commit to another 12 episodes when its not really a continuation of the story and really just filling in the gaps/giving more context. Im sure we’d like it but thats just some of our reasoning right now. We did specify in episode 1 that there were no concrete plans to watch the missing pieces as well, but we understand the disappointment!

ImZeaT
>>148220173

Oh don't worry, I am not disappointed, I was just wondering about the reasoning behind it, and I completely understand! You provide so much content that I enjoy, giving up on Horimiya doesn't really matter that much! Hope you have a wonderful day!

John Pardue

I really hope you replace this with "Dangers In My Heart" (and no fanservice))! Maybe the cutest and most wholesome slice of life I've seen. And the 2 seasons available offer a satisfying complete story (though they can keep adapting more if they want as the manga is still going)

Naqib _

Amazing anime! 11/10! Watched it because I saw you guys' reaction. Looking forward to future romance anime
