I've not watched Korra in sometime, so this is a good refresher to watch along. Keep up the speculations, always interested to hear where you think it might go, then see if you are right. You may also want to have another look at the statue in this episode, I dont think you mentioned it.

Korra time! 🙌🙌

To answer your question the scenery is going to change from republic city every season has their own specific villian since Nickelodeon kept threatening the writers with canceling it every season which is why every finale is going to feel like the show could've ended on any season.

Jesus Rocha

Naga and Pabu are so cute together ❤️

Edmon

"Can't be that dark" oh boy you're in for a ride

Here we have Tenzin... Which is different from the Tensen in Hell's Paradise... Which is different from Tengen in Demon Slayer... Which is different from Tenza in Hell's Paradise.

Amon is voiced by Steve Blum. Very prolific anime and video game voice actor. Great roles.

JN

Out of curiosity, how does Carlie feel about Zuko's VA from ATLA after finishing the series? I know she said his voice felt out of place, which is probably what a lot of us felt when we first watched it too. But now I can't picture anyone else doing Zuko's voice justice.

Decaf

dang it. I'm gonna suspect every new character to be Amon from now on

beannieswife

i'm glad ya'll see the sokka vibes in bolin, s1 bolin my beloved

Anton

I feel like it don’t make sense that Amons taking away bending power would be just temporary story wise because as soon as anyone of all the people he demonstrated on there would be able to bend again his image would be ruined etc. But idk maybe you’r right

K

I cannot wait for this show’s shipping debates. You’re one of the few reactors that embrace it a little.

Seth bandy

From season one onwards will be my first time watching with you all

ATLA already covered genocide in (first in ep3)... nothing in LOK is that dark. but its true that they try to portrait the show as being darker, which i think is also because of the visuals, republic city being more bleak than the nature / cities of ATLA. and cause i have to say it with this community these are just my thoughts, not meant to personally offend anyone.

Amon: "... then he took my face, ive been forced to hide behind a mask ever since" Zuko: "you sure about that?"

Hisoka

Korra is fire on its on way
