Glad you guys enjoyed it. Hopefully it keeps up the pace in the next season.

I agree with you guys. This anime is one of my best new ones after Frieren. I did not realize that Kaiju N9 was talking about the kaiju weapons but Kafka. Good catch Angelo. And Chess piece playing chess.. only you guys could came up with that. Although I was surprised not seeing Carlie crying when Mina told him that she will still be waiting.

wait u did not react to captain of the first division with big ass weapon at all ?(((

I don't think they'll show the origin of the kaijus. I feel like this world has always been like this, there have always been kaijus. But if I'm wrong, it would be really cool to see how the kaijus came to be. And about Kikoru, I don't think she doesn't trust Kafka, for me it's exactly the opposite. She said she needs to train more because she wouldn't be able to stop him if she needed to, because that was the promise she made to him. He trusts her to stop him and not let him become a threat to humans.

Director Ninomiya has Denken strong wise elder vibe

Dear Carlie and Ange, after watching you both for a year I have only just realized that y’all use a preset collection of facial expressions for dozens of different thumbnails. I am both impressed and appalled at how long I took to notice it. I know it’s common practice for reactors, but did anyone else not notice? Dang. Kudos to the editors.

Same. It's almost criminal how underrated this anime is. It's amazing! I can't wait for s2. Sigh! I miss kafka already. Hahaha
