how does the power scaling work? was okarun just holding back the entire time he was getting beat up? it seemed like he could handle evil eye with ease once he simply tried.

I love the approach the author took when writing the progression of Momo and Okarun's relationship. It's all in the little ways they treat each other. Like during the last episode of season 1. Momo gave Okarun and Jiji some alone time so they could bond. She knew he didn't have many friends, so she got out of the way. Then during this episode, the way Okarun got Momo out of danger while also trusting her to come up with a way to save them all was awesome. Also for some reason, the way she grabbed his hand was cute.
