You don't need to go so hard with the lore, guys 😅. The show is meant to be confusing at times. Last day's discussion was funny and great. Not that I don't enjoy the return of the notebook and some more theory crafting though 😄

Ang

It's crazy how great your intuitions are about the show. Not getting everything right but you're both very observant. Glad this finally dropped, been waiting all week, great reactions and can't wait for more!

KaijinGarou

Roy is a human sacrifice too. Gluttony's hatred towards Roy should probably be a con for Father to keep his memory intact. I guess it's just because he did a good job overall.

Potential sacrifice, i believe was the direct term used at times. Hes not seen the truth so he's not an official sacrifice, but he's a candidate.

Chance

Its incredible how well you guys get this show, so many of your theories are close but not quite, or within the realm of the show still and its so fun to watch you guys toss theories back and forth. favorite fmab reactions I've ever watched!

Yeah you're right about that. Still I don't think Father would want Gluttony's resentment towards Roy to play any role in this.

Whenever I hear that OP I think about Golden Gaytime, the ice cream XD

OMG the cover is really amazing! thanks for bringing it to us Ange!

I understand you guys hate Bradley, but would you please dial it down with the insults you guys don’t need to announce how much you hate Bradley or call him a piece of shit/crap every time he is on screen and it isn’t disgusting that Bradley split Mustang’s team up it was smart thing to do on his part to split up his enemies and put them in check.

Sarahi Luna

Guys do not apologize for taking time to discuss, theorize or else, i really like went u figure some stuff as the story goes. This is the first time im suscribing to someone in patreon because u guys rock.

Two things can be true at once. Bradley made a strategic decision to separate Roy from his subordinates, and Bradley is a piece of shit for doing so. When I'm watching a reaction video, I want to understand how the reactors feel about what they're watching. If a character does something they don't like, I'd rather hear their honest opinions over getting a filtered commentary.

Thanks! Absolutely no problem. Im having fun with the FMAB OP’s. They’ll all very different which challenges me a bit when trying to make my own mini version. Its a lot of fun!

@Chance - That's correct. Lust referred to Roy and Alphonse as "candidates" for human sacrifice during the events of Episode 19.

Merfhew

When a show has two characters with the same name (Greed), it can be complicated to differentiate during a conversation. Rather than saying "the first Greed" or "Greed 1" or "the Greed we met in Dublith" or another variation, I've always referred to him as Greed. As for the Greed created when Father injected Ling with a Philosopher's Stone, instead of calling him "Greed" or "the second Greed" or "Greed 2" or "new Greed" or another variation, I've always referred to him as Greedling. It's a fairly popular portmanteau of "Greed" + "Ling" used by some in the FMA fandom when referring to this version of Greed. You can obviously refer to the characters however you want, but you'll probably see more people using the name "Greedling" in future comment sections.

Pretty sure the insults are in good fun lol. Highly doubt they're seething at the mouth about it after the watchthrough is over. And yeah Bradley is smart and practical. He's one of the most badass characters in the show but people don't need to like him.

Jason

I think it is important to understand the concept of philosopher stone, and I think you guys have reach to the point that this information below wouldn't consider a spoiler: If you recall what Envy said to Ed, the souls in a philosopher stone are fuels and energy for usage, at least to them, it's just like oil drilling for them. A stone is not a stone, if that makes sense.

I think the show mentioned that they needed the sacrifices to open the portal as opposed to "Putting them in the portal" as is sometimes theorized, right?

It's not that deep man. Bradley is fun to hate, because he is cunning and evil. That doesn't mean they hate how his character is written, if anything it just proves how good of a villain he actually is.
