This is gonna be a journey.

Degenerick

not really but il let yal be the judge

StarlingOnCrack

It won't seem like it will, but it absolutely will.

cell

You guys always start series when I’m also watching them with my dad but that’s great because I always love them ❤️

SunnyhuunS

My king of Shonen (besides one piece), hope you guys enjoy!

cell

This is a long one but I can’t wait for the journey and to see your guy’s reaction to so many fun things in this story because it’s unlike anything I’ve ever watched you guys react to before

Kaiser the Elitist

It might take a few dozen episodes, after which point you'll have answered your own question, in the positive. Let Hunter x Goat begin! 🔥🔥

Ray

Favorite reactors, favorite show. Finally!

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *deep breath* HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHABHAHAHAHAHABABHAHAHAHAHAHA

Smash Bran'Discootch

So with Kurapika, you put the emphasis on the second syllable. Phonetically: Kur-AH-pee-kah

Alex Wilson

Through the first 3 seasons, 90% of the episodes will be the best episode you've seen yet. Then the show continues to maintain its high standards all the way through to the end. During my first watch through, I was skeptical until at some point I realized that I had been watching a masterpiece. It wasn't a sudden moment, more of a gradual build that you look back on and realize how far you've come. The pacing is deliberate and rewarding with some of the best payoffs in anime. You'll never get another first time, so just enjoy the ride :)

Lapisstories

Oh wow, I grew up watching this! One of my favorite shonen out there

I think this was very well said. While I think some arcs are better than others, every single arc is SO necessary for everything that comes after. Everything is important and matters to the story.

Decaf

Is that kind of a calligraphy where you change ‘Carlie&Ange’ to be same style as the title logo of the show? Its so brilliant its been one of the reasons why i love to see you guys start the new show.

Daamon
>>118326059

agreed. And every arc feels like a different anime/genre while maintaining consistency about certain aspects( not gonna say which aspects, wouldn't wanna spoil it for Carlie and Ange), which is really rare for other animes.

Daamon

Oh and I gotta say, you might wanna have your mods read through comments first before yourselves because people tend to spoil stuff when it comes to shows like HxH and Demon Slayer.

Josh Migos

LFG!! You guys are going to love this show!

KaijinGarou

The main character's Gon. And his father too. Sorry.

KaijinGarou
>>118329270

I'm interested too. I do some editing myself and I know well many popular fonts aren't that easy to find, but they always seem to use the original.

KaijinGarou

I just know they're gonna say Leo is Hughes any moment. I'm waiting for it 🤣

KaijinGarou

Of all comparisons, I didn't expect Carlie to be comparing this show to The Simpsons 🤣

Sasha

Another voice that might sound familiar from Leorio’s VA is Hannes from AOT in season 1! Hannes is later replaced with the same VA as Nanami in JJK

Jjj.

so excited, hxh besto shonnen

Thilde

Excited! Been a looooong time since I watched HxH so it'll be awesome to experience it again with you guys :)

Norrin Radd

Short answer: yes! Long answer: it’s the only anime that can be said to be better than FMAB.

myel

I joined patreon because of HxH and Haikyuu!!!!! Im sure ill be here for a long time!!!!!!! Enjoy the journey <3

gouj
>>118345976

ngl I dont think this anime is even close to FMAB but thats just me LOL. I'm still excited to watch.

Josh Migos
>>118345976

I thought FMAB was the best anime ive ever watched until i finished hxh 😂

Thilde
>>118345976

I agree with gouj only because of the very slow pacing of the best arc in hxh. Still excellent tho

Lapisstories

Aww I was too late to vote for Naruto but yes HXH was a good pick to as one influenced another.

Nicholas G

With Patience, this will be one of your favorite shows…

Francisco Ibarra

Hey, I just subscribed because I love this show! And you will definitely need the notebook on future episodes!

Sydonis

Oh, it will, first 10ish episodes are a bit underwhelming, but it will get there.

Mojira

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS,

Mojira
>>118394770

kind of disagree, it's a pretty fun ride from the beginning. Just that later arcs are that much better.

Moses T24

You'll definitely need the notebook later in the show

The Great Santini

Ahhh I’m so excited to watch with you guys! Will the full length reactions still be available for this series? Trying to decide if my $10 should keep getting paid or not.

Doron Ross Tuvia

I’ll have to wait till season 2 of the One Piece live action to get you guys into the anime I guess. Hunter x Hunter is pretty good too, especially later on in the series. If you like Hunter x Hunter, I would definitely also recommend Yuyu Hakusho, which is the series the creator of Hunter x Hunter did before this series and it’s a much beloved series. The only reason no one reacts to it is because it’s not a shiny new series and this newer generation of anime fans aren’t as familiar with it. I’m sure one day it’ll get remade or reanimated in some way and it’ll get the same attention Hunter x Hunter did when it was reanimated. Before Hunter x Hunter was reanimated no one was interested in it.

Kaito

That OP cover is lit!

HOODIE ZDOT

Should’ve been mha but we move

Charlie
>>118394770

I'm with you on that Tomas. I love Hunter x Hunter but it was definitely not the first arc that elevated the show so much for me.

⭐️—_—💧

im a bit late, but I enjoyed episode 1! I love how you guys are so well thought out during the discussion.

Astor Lefflinker

Fun fact: The VAs of aunt Mito and Gon are mother and daughter
