En's Weekly Thoughts:

We're going on a much-needed mental health break this weekend. Just going up into the wilderness and unplugging from everything for just a bit. Mentally I'm already there, as I've completed all my tasks at work, and am just reading and gaming in the background while pretending to pay attention to all these pointless work meetings that don't even involve me.

The thing I'm most looking forward to is cafe-hopping. I miss the feeling in my college years when I'd just sit in a quiet corner of the library and just read and read for hours, only occasionally getting up to get another energy drink or use the bathroom. My life is too frenetic nowadays for me to enjoy little quiet moments like that as much anymore, and so I figure I might as well contrive it as much as I can to force myself to learn to relax.

Maybe I'll even get a little writing done too, finally.
