En's Weekly Thoughts:

I'm gonna be at Offkai in a couple of weeks. If you don't know what that is, it's basically one of the few Vtuber-centered conventions here in the states. It's a lot smaller than the conventions I'm used to going to (I used to go to Anime Expo every year and if you know anything about that convention, it's so disgustingly congested because the venue can't hold the expanding number of attendees). It'll be nice to see all my Internet friends the one time a year I'm able to.

Something I've always tried to unpack with my therapist (and this might be something I mentioned here or on stream) is my inability to just get started doing something sometimes because I've contrived this whole scenario in my head of how I expect things to turn out. And this always leads me to feeling like I'm never actually living in the moment because I'm always wondering to myself what I could have done better, what I could have done differently -- just anything to make it feel like I could have had a better outcome. I have a better handle on this nowadays in my life, but it'll be interesting to truly see how much progress I've made when I go to Offkai and actually see in person all the people I'm excited to meet up with.

Nothing super long and rambly today. I suppose I'm just less chatty in the summer months because I'd rather be offline and reading a book or playing a game. In any case, I hope you're all taking care of yourselves. Luv y'all. Thank you for being here.
