Musicians react & analyze ♡ HOSHI X WOOZI (SEVENTEEN) - Stupid Idiot (Special Video)

They Brought the Fun Back!!! Hoshi & Woozi’s “STUPID IDIOT”—there’s no way you’re skipping this track after seeing that title! They brought back the fun vibes of the 2010s, and it’s definitely not the genre we expected—EVEN THE DROP! The music video was lighthearted, goofy, and extra fun, made even more special with a vertical shot. Hoshi’s rap combined with Woozi’s vocals took the excitement to another level! What’s next? Maybe a performance video!? Stay tuned for more SEVENTEEN!!! OH! Yessss, been waiting for this one!!! ETA: now that I’ve watched, definitely second the BB and LMFAO vibes. Also you HAVE to check out the live stage, they are so clearly having a blast.

I would really love to see you reacting to any of the performances in the music shows they did for the two songs - 96rs and Stupid Idiot. The choreo is also very fun. They said the concept for the video was like Dumb and Dumber:)

Yes, totally agree with the performance stages for both 96ers and Stupid Idiot! Please do so🥹 And as to the last song of this album, Pinocchio - it's very short so maybe you can have it as part of the another howoo vid you're going to drop. 1:45 in length incl. instrumentals. Though you may also consider a standalone vid since even if it's very short, the lyrics is deep and full of nuances and structure is interesting. You might have a lot to say about it. We love this song too, we wish it was longer but we also get why they chose it to be otherwise.

Always love your reactions and reviews on a song! I made a playlist based on this song and the other songs I added are late 2000 - early 2010s club bangers like you mentioned (LMFAO, Daft Punk, PitBull etc) 😂 Side note: Yes BSS is totally fanboying over GD in Good Day 😆But since they’re a part of a series, you might not be able to react to it in your channel. But they’re also a guest on ZIP Daesung, so you might want to check that one out.

Pinocchio is a must listen to me from BEAM but it's the only one from their album that doesn't have an MV but I really recommend listening to it. Also for BSS you should react to Fighting!!!

Heather

The live music show performances of this are fun!

Yeyyy~ I was waiting for this just because it’s so fun to watch! The show performance are sooo fun too. If I may suggest please check out JeonghanxWonwoo unit because yes you guys are right every unit is very different haha MingyuxWonwoo unit is also different as well as the JunxThe8 unit is also different vibe and JoshuaxVernon too! But they’re all just so so so good :)

One thing about Seventeen is that most of them are unapologetically big fans of Kpop. I got into Kpop during the 2nd gen (~2010) and seeing the members fanboy so loudly over the same groups I loved back then is very heartwarming. Whenever they meet one of their seniors, they make it a point to enthusiastically compliment them and talk about how much they inspired Seventeen until the senior becomes shy lol (GD is the most recent exemple but Suju, Highlight, BtoB, Hyeri, SNSD, Hongki, IU, Sohee etc... were also "victims" of this 😅). And you can tell it's not just to be polite but it comes from deep appreciation and knowledge of their seniors' music and experience. You can definitely hear the Big Bang influence here and Hoshi/Woozi actually mentioned that seeing GDxTaeyang in the MAMAs recently was a big inspiration for their HoWoo project, because they hope to still have fun together on stage in the future like GDxTY do.

i'm glad you watched this one too!! i hadn't thought about the bigbang or 2010s vibes, but now that you say it! and yessss for the choreo video!!! i still would really recommend a musis show too though!

ponchi

Love this! Hope you can react to 2 minus 1 by Vernon and Joshua, too!

cinnamonroll

frr i hope y'all will add Pinocchio when watching the live stage for Stupid Idiot! it's a VERY good song i love it so much it hurts

cinnamonroll

the song might just be an intro from how short it is. woozi must have a reason for it tho 😓
