FINALLY got to Star Lost :')

Firstly, this was a beautiful song. We surprisingly didn't get to talk much about the music itself (compared to other things) so we want to emphasize again how amazing this track is.

Secondly, the paper planes clip from the tour was moving. We talk a lot about it and one of us had a slight idea of what came before and after this infamous segment, so please try to pay attention and guide us if any mistakes were made :D

Yep the paper planes had messages! And I believe they were crying because of the fan video that was played before the song. It happens a lot regardless of where they are in the tour. Especially during Maniac since it was right after Covid. For a little more info on the thunderous making…. It’s not like the ones we just watched for the units. It’s much more comprehensive. It’s two parts and about an hour total and much more like regular fun content.

I think this was one of the longests skz concerts they ever did. It was the last day in Seoul with official live broadcast and it went for 4 hours!! I cried the whole encore with Felix haha

OMG ... not the time Felix cried for 2 hours straight on and off stage ... I tear-up everytime I see clips from this tour stage 😭😭😭... Yeah the paper planes had messages from STAY on them talk about tear inducing/ perpetuating!!!... It is so sweet and sad so many emotions from everyone on stage ... I think you are talking about the longer section between songs with all the members taking turns hugging Felix... then group hug, where Changbin fireman carries Seungmin to the group cause he was crying by himself in the corner.. and Felix literally asks them all to come back and stay in the group hug for longer ... and they do! ... 😭😭😭😭😭.... GOD all the emotions!! ... I think that is also just before 'Star lost' ..... Felix still gets called out by SKZ for being the 'crier' of the group. I love this song btw !! WOLFGANG performance from KINGDOM WEEK with Hyunjin! Maniac tour was their first tour after covid. They had missed Stay so much. It was the last night of the Seoul shows before going overseas to continue the tour. The paper planes had messages from Stay. Felix cried even more reading them 🥹 Yes they played Star Lost then Haven at the end of each show. I wasn't at the Seoul show but was at both Sydney shows. The atmosphere was amazing

I remember seeing a clip of Seungmin saying something along the lines of that he doesn't believe in forever but he wants to spend an eternity with SKZ and STAYs 🥺 It might mean something even more profound in Korean but the translation is devastating. This same concert Felix told Changbin afterwards that he couldn't live without him and just kept hugging him. Overall, it was extremely for everyone Wolfgang tho! Star Lost is such a mood. Also, I've been obsessed with how I.N starts this for the longest time. It just hits different. Truly an underrated gem. I didn't get to see them live until London last year, but I'd give so much to see the Maniac set-list live. There's so many gems they've now cut on there ! And d'Some remembers it correctly, they had their ending ments directly before this, and it was the last day of the first stop of the Maniac tour, which also was their first tour since covid. Their actual first world tour was cancelled midway through due to the pandemic. They still do either Star Lost or Haven as the last encore and only rarely do they switch away from it. For this one, they did both, starting with Star Lost, and then an extra, unplanned Boxer at the very end. They all routinely take my heart out during their ments, but this one ... I can barely watch it, it feels like I'm watching something private. Some members, like Changbin and Seungmin rarely cries like this at concerts, so seeing them hits hard in it's own way. All of their words that day hit especially hard. It's also kinda cathartic, with the group hug. Seungmin trying to sneak away to cry by himself and Changbin not having it and just picking him up like that.. I'm also pretty sure Chan lost himself for a moment there, telling everyone how he'll protect them. I absolutely love this song and when I saw that you were doing the concert one, I immediately got a lump in my throat. If you can, when you are feeling up to doing it, and like others have recommended, I'd love to see you react to the whole concert. It's definitely one of the best. The emotions were high, but the love in the room can be felt through the screen. And yes, Felix was particularly emotional through this. This also has a rather iconic mental from Bang Chan 😊 Oh and watching this little clip is making me want to watch the DVD again. So guess what I'll be doing later 😂😂

We were all bawling our eyes out for hours at this con!!!! It was more a “we made it” moment for skz + in front of their families

this concert was uniquely special & emotional for everyone... it wasn't just their first time seeing stay in a while, but they also blew up during covid with God's Menu, and skz/stay struggled HARD those yrs. woojin's departure was only 1 month before unlock tour started nov 2019, so they had to last minute rework lines/choreo for the tour which was canceled halfway because of covid. then Hyunjin's hiatus was start of 2021. it was constant back and forth of people loving/hating them. then after years of drama and isolation, it was their first time ever seeing so many happy stay in one place. they could finally put faces to the tons of new fans they suddenly had, while also realizing they got past the struggles of those rough yrs. this specific concert was truly an "we made it" and "we're gonna be okay" moment for them. for additional context— they went from a 24 show tour, only did 10 shows, to 42 shows for maniac tour. the unlock shows had an avg audience of ~4,000. maniac was avg ~14,000, not including beyond live streams which had ~110,00-120,000.

I don't know if it's the lighting, but D'some, you look so beautifully tan. The lyrics are for sure sad. Oh, wow I forgot that you were watching a concert video of the song. I don't know if Seungmin is crying, but Felix is for sure crying. Apparently he cried this entire concert for like the entire 4 hours. Baby was so emotional. Yes, there were messages written on the paper planes. I'm pretty sure it was the same message on all of the planes but yeah, that made them even more emotional. Yes, all of the boys were crying except for Lee Know of course, because Lee Know will not cry after the survival show. He refuses to show his tears, but this was very emotional. This clip I've seen the clip so many times, and just think about it makes me tear up. Oh no, it was the start of the tour and they were emotional because they had gone through everything, and they were happy to cease, stay again because I think they weren't Tory at the time. Maybe I don't know, but they didn't want the fans to forget about them. But they were so happy that so many states came out to see them and they were just really emotional. Felix cried for like an hour straight. And then again after the concert. The planes did have messages on them. There are clips of the members being shocked when they started flying. So moving. And yeah, Lee Know hasn't really cried since the survival show. He figured out how to lock that in. But, he has gotten pretty close a few times.

i wasnt in seoul but they brodcast this specific concert on beyondlive and i stayed up all night and wached it live i cried so hard lol i kept a concert diary from all the live brodcasted concerts i watched, this was seoul D3 ( i also watched japan and japan encore) i loved this concert so much (according to my notes they actually ended on boxer after haven fyi but i think that was only for seoul D3) such a fond memory for me im sitting here looking at my diary feeling all the feels i love SKZ so so much

I was a bigbang and winner fan first before I became a stay. I just wanna mention it because the first time I listened to Start Lost, the first thought that came into my mind was that Star Lost is def a song that you can recommend to a vip or an inseo and they would love it. Also funny story, the SKZ Maniac Concert and Winner Concert was live-streamed at the same date and time. As I mentioned I'm a fan of both so I watched them at the same time on different devices lol. At the last part I was crying because the kids got very emotional and Felix was really bawling his eyes out. Then I focused my attention back a lil bit more on WInner's Con and then when I look back at the kids' concert Felix was still crying LMAO my poor baby. 😭 I love him so much.

Ughhh Feeliiixxx 😭😭 I just loved that he kept going to other members for hugs when he couldn't stop crying. Def recommend watching that whole segment (or the whole concert!) even if you don't want to record your reaction. I feel like that was a crucial moment for me as a baby Stay that really solidified my love for the group as people not just their music.

This concert was such a moment. I watched this on the livestream- the Seoul concerts were their first proper concerts after the lockdown restrictions and this was the final of three nights. I think they all got so emotional because they hadn't been able to properly perform in front of stays for years and they got to see how much they had grown since their last tour as rookies. The concert went on for like 3.5 hours because they just didn't want to leave the stage. Felix was non-stop crying but just before this performance he was like 'can we all hug one more time?' and it was so sweet and precious. If you can one day you should try and check out the whole concert, just as a piece of stay history. It was when stay and skz got to properly reconnect in person 💛

i’m really late but i’m not sure if you know - star lost holds a special place for skz and stay. there was a japanese stay who was really sick with a terminal condition, and her make a wish was to meet skz. unfortunately with covid, skz were unable to actually see her in person, but they did sing her happy birthday and talk with her on a zoom call for her birthday. the stay was really excited because for the maniac tour they were going to japan and skz promised to meet her next time they were in japan. she was getting herself ready and well enough to attend the concert and meet skz, and just a few days prior to the concert she passed away. at the japan concert she would’ve attended, the members wrote letters to her and read them before singing star lost in her honor. there were lots of tears, and star lost is basically dedicated to her now. there’s a video of chan reading his letter to her, and it’s truly super heartbreaking to watch. i hope you’re able to check it out. https://youtu.be/rd74wNW09gg?si=dDdZLGlvYFw-iJiM
