Back with the second part of ATEEZ's NY episode with 1N2D :D

With context, it's even more amazing how they managed to stay so positive and professional during the shoot. It was a rough time for everyone it seems, and yet they still worked and created such fun episodes for us ATINYs. That's love.

We'll let this one play out instead of writing a long "letter" here and instead, ask you the question one more time: when is the last time YOU wrote a letter and MAILED it to somebody? There are those like d'Some who was raised in a different country and wrote countless letters, and even wrote letters in Korea to other family members just because he likes the feel of it, and then there are those like Han-C who never needed to write letters since everyone was in Korea and could simply call them or see them face to face. We're sure there are both cases in the Sausage community, but we're still curious to see how many there are for each category! :D

So let us know, and we'll see you all at Han River!

Love <3

I think I only wrote letters in some of my school classes in my life, other than that I don't remember at all. Most people have a hard time expressing themselves completely, so letters can be a good option for them. I would love to go back to the times of letter culture.

Also to see that Ateez's debut song were cut in their first sstages and could only perform for 1 and a half minutes, that Ateez has come so far with theirs own efforts and ambitions..it also gives me hope too. I am very proud of them.

about jongho, although it appears that he's not a very emotional person it's actually the opposite. he's only has difficulties with showing it or expressing it outwardly, but if you see him interacting with atinys (irl or in fancalls) he's usually very expressive and can't stop laughing with them, and if you pay attention to him in concert ments you can see how much he tries to convey what he's really feeling, even if it can be hard for him. i don't know if you're aware but jongho has cried quite a couple times during ments, or if other members cry you can tell he gets emotinal (the only member that doesn't cry much is mingi, which that makes sense since he's the only T in the group but even he has had his moments). a lot of atinys have a wrong image about the kind of person jongho is, he's mischievous and silly, but sincere and honest, his only weakness is despite having so many emotions in him he's kinda bad at showing them, and he also doesn't like skinship so he seems like a T, but my dude is just a lil awkward and easily cringed out/embarrassed lol. (sorry for the essay, i really like jongho if you couldn't tell)

I think the last time i wrote a letter to my penpal and mailing it was during my secondary school days. Abt 20-25yrs ago.. Oh Gosh, this exposed my age doesn't it? lol. Anw, Ateez definitely give a family vibe and I love them. I can sense their sincerity by watching their variety shows. Ahhh now I miss Wanteez.

This was perfect to hype me up even more for the concert I get to see in the cinema in 2h

The last time I wrote a letter was just last year of November. I wrote 3 letters to my high school friends as a surprise. We exchanged written letters when we were in high school since we're in different classes/sections, and writing letters is our way of communication to rant, seek advised, and share some stories about love life. So just last year, I surprised them and handed the letter to them, telling them how proud I am on their achievements. And their reactions made me so happy when they received it. Two of them said even their husbands didn't even gave them a love letter. Lol. But yeah, that's my story about the letters. For these episodes of 1N2D, I really love it because it shows not just ATEEZ funny side but also their sincerity towards each other. It's not easy to maintain solid relationship especially with large numbers but I am really happy to see their friendship being so honest to each other.

I wrote and posted postcards to friends whenever I went on holiday. I send birthday cards to my sister every year. I write Christmas cards for family and neighbours. So the last time I wrote and sent a card was in April. If writing cards counts

For letters, long story short I met an atiny online and we attended a P1Harmony concert together and that night was the drop for Ateez Work, she traveled to my city and from the moment I picked her up from the airport we hit it off in real life too and had such a fun experience, her first time attending an Ateez pop up, eating delicious Korean food, it was so much fun for her entire stay here. Well a few weeks later she mailed me a few ateez items and a custom made ateez ticket for the upcoming concert I attended as a keepsake since they don't have actual physical tickets along with a sweet letter as a thank you and I have that letter at my desk to this day because it was so heartfelt and endearing, even though we text everyday she wrote a beautiful letter. So now when we send each other stuff we include a sweet note of thanks 😊 letters really are the best!!!

I soooo appreciate you translating the letters. I feel like translations are often lacking emotion because they are either direct translations or simplified. When I originally watched this I was super curious about what they wrote. The letters were so long and I actually teared up reading your translations. I’m such a die-hard Atiny so as an English speaker I loved that so so much. Thank you! 🥰🥹

PS I’m starting Korean, but I’m not great with languages and it’s difficult. I try, but I appreciate you making this a bit more accessible

I don't remember the last time I mailed a letter but I have had groups of people who exchaned postcards - the fun of a letter plus you get photos of where they are from or have been

Thank you, thank you, thank you so so so much for translating their letters. When I first watched these episodes, I wondered what the members wrote but never looked for translations. The members write such beautiful letters to Atiny. All of them extremely touching. I cried reading each letter and had to screenshot them all lol. As for writing a letter, I haven't written one since 5th grade, about 20+ years ago haha. I wrote to my dad. That was probably the first and last time I actually wrote and mailed a letter to someone.

So I know you're going through Idol 1N2D, but if you wanted to an intermission to watch some new, "side-quest" type of Ateez content, I HIGHLY suggest checking out the episode of HOMETOWN where San and Seonghwa go to San's hometown, Namhae. It's hilarious! While I was watching it I immediately thought of you guys reacting to it. I think you would love it! https://youtu.be/t1NHvOV_GA4?si=3HzBi9x6QIGig_eN We also have Hongjoong and his older brother Bumjoong on Hong Seok-cheon's Jewelry Box. I haven't watched yet, but I know will be hilarious. https://youtu.be/s1Ah8l92fiw?si=ULvTVpOC7Vj-jZVp

Quiet Type

I still write and send things fairly regularly - though cards are more frequent than letters. I think it's fun to receive something pleasant in the mail, in the middle of bills and adverts and nonsense.

Thank you so much for translating the letters they wrote! Really appreciate your hard work
