We All Agree That SEVENTEEN Are the Gods of Music SEVENTEEN’s God of Music made us so happy—not just the music itself, but the music video, lyrics, facial expressions, choreography… EVERYTHING! Fun fact about this MV is they filmed at Budapest right after they were 'kidnapped' by Na PD for Nana Tour. And they only have 2 days to practice for their choreography. Their live version at MAMA is so fun to watch, since you mentioned that this song will be fun at concert, yes it does. I hope you can check their MAMA performance.

Let's Fucking Gooooooo!!!!!!!!!! 🩵🩷🩵🩷🩵🩷🩵🩷🩵🩷🩵🩷🩵🩷

Thunder Monkey

Fun fact: the shot of the microphone in the upper atmosphere was actually launched into space by a company for the footage used in the God of Misic video. So extra! But so worth it!!!!!

Cleo 💎

Since you watched God of Music, please please please react to God of Light Music. One of the best GoSe comeback episodes 😭😂

zoey ro

4:25 this really is a great concert song! i think you would like their 2023 mama performance, they sang god of music and super and both songs were amazing!

Nikki 🥰

I second this!!! MAMA performance is a must watch! 🥰

Rowan

Especially for this song, you have to watch the comeback special ‘God of Light Music’ eps next!! It is core to the Seventeen universe! Would advise against listening to the song ‘God of Light Music’ until you’ve watched the episodes to not spoil it. https://youtu.be/QsfSOZLe-S8?si=A1TsQXnxuBeko3hk

Thunder Monkey

Please react to the Trot version of God of Light Music. It's a ghasss!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 (it's also part of a GOSE Special episode). Maybe wait until then? Idk! I want it all! I'm greedy with your SVT contents! Sorraaaay!!!

Thunder Monkey

MAMA! MAMA! MAMA! Headliners at the MAMAs for sure!

Some of the facts you may not know/have missed : 1.Scoups was injured here so the MV was filmed in Budapest hence his scenes was separately done. I like the part where he passed the mic to Wonwoo. 2. Someone already told you they filmed this right after they finished filming Nana Tour with Na PD in Italy 3. As above as well, check out GoSe episode on God of light Music and then check out their performance on God of Light Music - the lyrics is sooo funny it’ll have you ROFL. 4. Yes, someone also already said the mic was sent up to space 5. Here they talk about the album. https://youtu.be/mue2fclzFWk?si=hbqGLzhryMYbPjA1 It’s an hour long so maybe just watch it on your own for enjoyment.

magy_streetlight

oh my god, after the lives and choreo, you have to (cheat a little and) jump to "[GOING SEVENTEEN] COMEBACK SPECIAL : 경음악의 신 #1 (God of Light Music #1)" and the 2nd part. It's the special they released before this, and it's hilarious! You don't need to watch the other GOSE's before this to understand but, even though not at all essential, know a little about the Pi Cheolin "lore" ;)

Alex Roland

Pleeeease watch the god of light music episode of GOSE since you now know this song. It’s a good standalone ep and the perfect follow up to this song. God of Light Music actually charted which is HILARIOUS and SO SVT coded lol

Mika

Yes!! pls omg

konekochan

Yess!! The comeback special is also sooo good

melis

3:10 Dinos part here was a hint for his solo „WAIT“

Anna

Yes!!! MAMA 2023 pls 😩😩😩

Anna

YES ONE OF MY FAVE GOSE EPS PLSSSS

Sophia

Han.C guessing Joshua from the back of the head now is lowkey crazy wowww crazy impressed

Ariel Farah

I second this request:))

Ariel Farah

YES. Also if they react to the 2023 Mama performance they shoudl react to their acceptance speech - its sooo good!

Tatia

That's carat behavior 😂

S.Coups rapping, “Anything with four syllables, they say it's my name - Kung Chi Pak Chi, is that my name too?” is sort of an inside joke. Korean audiences initially found his stage name a bit strange, articles and media often got it wrong, and people would jokingly call him long, foreign-sounding names like Maximus, Asparagus, or Ratatouille. The members picked up on this and created the “S.Coups game,” which basically involves coming up with four-syllable words that could pass as Seungcheol’s stage name.

i do remember some carats and non fans saying this track was a bit cheese and all that when it came out. but as usual, the instrumentals and production = so universe factory coded, and despite having listened to it a lot when i was going thru the roughest patch of last year, it never fails to perk up my mood, and that's all i need from music sometimes. welcome back d'some, good to see the ol' split screen. so nice to see you guys together again. get ready for the unhinged going special for this cb lol

Han-c was totally right about concerts. God of music is THAT song for festival, award shows and live performances. It is so refreshing and totally “jumpy”!!☺️ Also now if you want to add some variety, you can react to Seventeen MAMA 2023 since you already reacted to both super and god of music. It was phenomenal and they got their first mama daesang!!!! It was one of the best moments in caratdeul, we were celebrating so hard and seventeen members were so happy since that year was really hard for them and it paid off. Its about 10 minutes so I hope we will also got you to see idols reaction to their performance which we officially got from the mnet channel. It's the same as you did with ateez just few days ago. And it's so fun since there was boynextdoor, riize, zerobaseone, le sserafim and ateez I will provide links Firstly they performed gom - https://youtu.be/uyQBxWA_HZs?si=GJo42bgFJgzL6wbf Then super - https://youtu.be/hF5_wvB4dl0?si=_gIc-lnfdHJxDOgb Reactions Gom - https://youtu.be/yduM_LkKv2I?si=Iw76FL-hSnlofBhe For super you have to scroll the video a bit (it got also le sserafim's reaction to their own member, and then to svt) - https://youtu.be/mOm_PDbxzuE?si=lRJZP1cHfYnizWbv P. S. s.coups had health issues (knee ligament injury and had surgery done) that time so he was not able to perform but he still watched them from idols zone Although he participated in their speech when won album of the year, you can watch that too if you want

dav

THAT IS A MUST

"God of Music" has been chosen by the American Heart Association as one of the recommended songs for maintaining the correct rhythm for CPR. The song was sung at 120 beats per minute, the maximum frequency required for CPR, a method used on people suffering from cardiac arrest, as it allows oxygen to reach vital organs.

Tahlia Nolland

Came to the comments to say this 🤣

cinnamonroll

this is such a funny trivia and i love it

Mya

This!!!

Mya

So glad you reacted to this, I got to second everyone and say please watch Going Seventeen Comeback Special God of Light Music now that you have watches this. It is one of the most hilarious things ever and some of the most I ever laughed with SVT! I think you would really enjoyed what they have done there as well!

ddaddu

yess highly recommend while its fresh

I love this song so much, whenever it comes up in my playlist it lifts my mood up immediately ! I remember the first time I listened to it was in my car after a pretty rough work day and it just made me feel so light and refreshed despite how tired I was. Also funky Seventeen is quintessential Seventeen to me. No one does it like them.

Lalalii💚

You guys have to react to God of Light Music!!!! this GOSE (Going Seventeen) special was a teaser that dropped right before the album release, and it's absolutely hilarious. I mean that literally , you would cry laughing! They totally butcher their own song (in the best/funniest way possible) before it officially came out 😂 But plot twist: it ended up becoming such a fan favorite that they made an actual choreography for it (this was for Caratland) and then it was released on Spotify!

Sonali

I have a playlist called "inject me with serotonin" on spotify and this is the first song on it, it literally just makes me so happy
