LEGENDARY INDEED

You saw the title. This one's a big one. Three performances, with a proper bts footage to show for them all. We got to rewatch all three Mayfly performances again (still amazing), and got to learn about how they prepped for the stage, SKZ style.

Not much to say here because it's one heck of a video already (you'd know already that this one's special XD), so let's just get to it.

Perfect timing! Will be watching this NOW ^^ In other news – the first 2 Kids Room of the season dropped an hour ago! Can't wait for you to check it out! BUT without spoiling anything about it; they played Seungmins new skz-record "Goodbye" in the background, so if you don't want the song spoiled, I recommend listening to it before watching the 2KR episode 😃

21!!!! Jongho and Seungmin were 21!!!! they are 3 weeks apart... it is crazy how everytime I hear this May-V stage it just gets better... even knowing how far Seungmin has come technically through 'Song By' ..... this stage will forever be PERFECTION!!!!!

The best performances. LOL XG mention I love it. I still don't understand why all of the members of the boys didn't participate in this section of the competition like they all could have danced instead of having just 3. Oh yes, I loved Wooyoung's oreo hair here. Not Bang, Chan's railway inspiration 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂. The way I was so confused when Han-C started talking about N in Paris. It's so wild seeing this knowing more about Ateez, like I couldn't take my eyes off of San. I love this beat so much. That's so funny. I never noticed Han's smile for his ending fairy. I'm so mad, the sensor when you said the F-word threw me off because I'm so used to hearing you cuss, but I forget this is going on YouTube, so it's bleeped out. It's time for love poem. My favorite performance ever. my hands down favorite performance of Seungmin EVER! I want to see if it's gonna make me cry like it normally does. Yeah, this was definitely a legendary stage. I agree with whoever just said that. So I watched this fairly early in my striked's journey, so I didn't know how much henjin loved sungman and his singing until later, but now that I know that I really wish we could have seen hyunjin's reaction to this performance because it's absolutely stunning. And I feel bad, but I say this every time I rewatch it. when you watch them perform and you see the other team that isn't mayfly watching them. You can see in their face that they knew they lost this round because this performance is absolutely legendary, Top tier, iconic, all of the good things. I agree, even including the new things from nowadays this performance is my favorite Seungmin performance EVER, hands down, no questions asked. I absolutely love seeing dance instructor Lee Know in action. Oh yes, Seungmin carrying the harmonization in the background was absolutely stunning because he has that natural middle ground timber or tone. I don't know the right word, but like when he sings in his middle register, it's beautiful, so having him hit those notes and the lower notes for the harmonies in the backgrounds, this was brilliant. We really do need a mayfly reunion. Hannie is so damn adorable. Bless you D'some. I loved getting to see changbin and Wooyoung's relationship. Yeah, no, they're so adorable. Kingdom is overall a pretty good comfort show to watch, except when it comes to the I'll be your man episode, because the way it still breaks my heart every time I watch It.

I love, love, LOVED Mayfly's rap, but at the same time, I also LOVED "Full Dash" - the rap by Team It's One (Bobby, Sunwoo and Hwiyoung). I wish they could have tied. Both songs are so good. I just read an old article from 2021, where Minhyuk from BtoB said he was SO happy to work with SKZ on Kingdom. Sign me up for kingdom night 🙂‍↕️ Ive rewatched kingdom a lot, it’s a bit of a comfort show. Love to go through the performances with yous again and understand some more nuances as to why they are amazing and also help to understand why some of the scoring was the way it was (not that it matters!) but sometimes I didn’t understand some groups scoring lower than others but I don’t pick up on the subtle things like you guys and the professionals can 😊

They’ve actually already seen those. The issue here is that each company was responsible for a stage. So since JYPe was the rap stage they have more of the behinds of that. KQ likely had far more behind footage for the dance stage and BTOB’s company for vocal. Whatever team won we were always going to get more BTS footage for the stage they were responsible for sadly.

Lino is so stable and rock solid when he dances. Love Poem really was THE performance. Mayfly was so fun. I would love to see them all work together again.

I think a lot of us commented already but I just love see Lee Know in dance leader mood, he is just so satisfying to see dance, so strong but fluid at the same time, just loved, and the agility of Felix and strength of IN, chef kiss, and just like you say, they deserved they credit for all the extra effort of the performance they need to put. Popping this in here because I’m not sure it’s been mentioned, but Ateez does have some behind episodes from their performances too if you ever want to check those out.
