Stop everything you're doing and pay attention to this episode because an angel has fallen from the sky and we need to protect him at all costs by listening to what he has to say.

Also, it heals us when we hear him talk. Or just by looking at his beautiful face. Or both.

JOSHUA is on Hyell's Club as she continues to collect SVT members like scattered dragon balls XD

This one was a particularly calming one probably in big part thanks to Joshua's tranquil character (which likely led to the use of lofi hiphop tracks and all XD). And we loved it. Learned new things about Joshua (as expected), and left with another episode to look forward to: DK on Hyell's Club BETTER happen SOON.

Apart from that, we'd love to hear your take on this wonderful episode, and if you also speak multiple languages, how you juggle between them in dreams, or when you're talking by yourself, etc. :)

See you in the next new thing! ;)

Enjoy <3

yess i like this episode too! the episode is especially relaxing, and the conversation flows very naturally. shuasumi is the exact copy of joshua lol. if you get to know miniteen, most of them really fits the members. they even made the character design on their own. it'll be fun if we can watch the making videos together someday.

i think joshua was chosen to do the interview for Wednesday coz Emma is a well known Carat but even before that Joshua also did a Mission Impossible interview with Vernon Wednesday interview: https://youtu.be/7ETqVRicvLI?si=bjNV45ijtJLVy7Qv Mission Impossible interview: https://youtu.be/RLNOw7Jdt9A?si=rs-NjJ7OoU7yY5q1 *and yes all the members always think of Carats everytime. if you get to watch more of their behind the scenes or inside seventeen episodes you'll know how every decision they make on their performances or even music involves seventeen ❤️ *thank you very much for checking out Joshua. hope you get to check more of their individual shows soon ✨ *also waiting for the Tiny Desk reaction from you guys coz i know you'll definitely love it as that performance was sooo RAW - a must one to check esp for you ✨

So Joshua lived in the US for the first 19 years of his life! He learned a few Korean words in the Korean church he went to, including, according to him, Amen (아멘). There are a lot of jokes about him being Shuasumi's neglectful father, because Shuasumi was born in 2024 and he rarely brings her up. And then he carried labubus everywhere for a whole summer. WE WERE OUTRAGED! I really hope DK is the next one to appear in Hyell's Club, and since the DK x Seungkwan unit is coming this January, maybe we will get it? We haven't had a solo DK appearance on variety shows in actual YEARS. So it's time to make it happen!!!

Hyell's club!! I'm really so happy that Joshua's getting more opportunities to come out on shows like this, since he didn't get to do that often before. His charm is so gentle and soft and sweet <33 Truly the cozy vibes like you said. Heres some tidbits of info! - Joshua in GoSe: if jeonghan is the evil mastermind kind of entertainer, shua is the hidden gem who comes out of nowhere and does the most unpredictable things ever 😂 I really love his type of humor and im really excited for you to watch more GoSe so you can see that - The Wednesday interview: Emma Myers who plays Enid on Wednesday is actually a big Carat! I think she's met svt before, and so thats probably why they got Joshua to interview them for season 2 promos (also fun fact: when asked for a svt dream setlist, Emma recommended 'I don't know', which you probably recently listened to or will listen to. A true carat indeed <33) excited for the surprise release next time. So curious what it is ~ p.s. i definitely dream and have inner thoughts in all the languages i speak, it's more comfortable mixing them together even in a single sentence instead of just using one. When you know multiple languages, there are some things that are easier to express in one vs the other and vice versa

Oh Tiny Desk was so good!!! 😭😭 But they probably have to wait to get to it since it has songs they havent listened to

tim

Lol I’m typing a comment about this but you re faster than me..It somehow so calming because of the way he talk

캐럿입니다 💎

You should checkout the videos of the Making of MINITEEN they are available on youtube its pretty fun seeing members coming up with their designs and giving their inputs for their characters and discussing ideas and stuff. Also if you are interested in the relation seventeen has with carats there are compilations of some the most funny interactions on youtube.

ros

I was gonna recommend Tiny Desk, but realized most songs are ones they haven't listened to yet... still hoping it gets a reaction video tho, it's sooo good!!

ponchi

Agree

ponchi

an angel in disguise lol

Fay

Emma myers from Wednesday is actually a carat and has been out to dinner with seventeen before so it was defo very comfortable for them!!

dav

BTW Emma Myers is the Carat, she is a big fan of SVT just like us. And she met SVT before several times, Ig she also visited some member's homes. It was so nice to see her she is a sweetheart. I assume that was one of the reasons Joshua was MCing Wednesday cast ALSO her favorite song is “I don't know”. The next song in your discography deep dive😂😂what a coincidence

Thunder Monkey

Dive Studios has a Mindset series and Joshua has miniseries where he talks in different audio mini episodes. The first one is 20 minutes in Korean and the rest of the shorter episodes are in English. This is what puts my to sleep each night. His voice is so calming. ...FYI, if u check it out Vernon, Mingyu and DK also have a miniseries. 🩵🩷🩵🩷

Thunder Monkey

Are u guys gonna react to the latest Seventeen thirst tweets on Buzzfeed? 😁😁😁😅 Yikes!

Thunder Monkey

Seventeen also just did a Tiny Desk Concert on NPR. No inner ear monitors, no post production editing, no floor monitors, no mic sounds/effects, just raw vocals with live band! The first KPop group to do so is what im hearing. SVT really are the greatest group of all time!!! Please react to their Tiny Desk performance.

Joshua is an american born korean, so he is born and brought up in USA until he came to Korea as a trainee. Vernon was born in new york but came to korea when he was 5 so has been brought up in korea. The actress in the series Wednesday (Emma) is a long time Carat, she has talked about SVT on her interview rounds years ago as well, and met up with SVT when she visited for Wednesday promotions along with the interview Joshua did. Joshua and Vernon also interviewed the cast of Mission Impossible when they came to Korea.
