CHEF DK IN THE HOUSE (and the world's best assistance, Seungkwan XD)

You already knew we had to check this one out first before getting to the big guns XD (aka Tipsy Live). So let's enjoy this one for what it is and prep ourselves for what's to come :D

By the way, is it just us or could you all also see that SK and DK were being VERY careful and not being their usual selves (which is normal for guest appearing in a show but even more so than usual!!) XD It's VERY evident in Korean that they're both shy and nervous, but maybe it was harder to tell if you're just reading the subs...so we just wanted to ask :D

But yeh, Chef Ahn is a BIG figure in Korea right now because of the Netflix show, and since they already had met through Good Day, I guess it makes sense that DXS would choose his show over many other things they could've chosen :)

It was a fun, meditative show with two...or three brilliant minds!

Questions are welcomed, as well as other suggestions!!

This was a new show for me, I've heard Culinary Class Wars mentioned in content a decent amount but haven't watched it myself so this was my intro to Chef Ahn. I could definitely tell DK & Seungkwan were being more careful/felt nervous, especially at the beginning but I do feel like they got more comfortable throughout the show. Part of it for me also felt like they were kind of feeding off the energy that Chef Ahn brought, which is much calmer than a lot of other hosts/shows we've seen them on. I love how sincere DK was about his cooking, and learning tips from Chef Ahn while Seungkwan awkwardly third-wheeled them! XD Looking forward to Tipsy Live! What a great finale to this DKSK side quest, although I think the only other thing left after that would be DK's appearance on Hyell's Club to truly round out their album promotions, not sure if that's already on the list after Tipsy Live or not.

I knew chef Ahn from the few episodes of Culinary Class Wars I watched, but i didn't know he had his own channel until I saw the DK x SK guesting! These two are so cute here omg, I'd love to taste both styles of cooking 😭😭 I'd also love to see Mingyu or Minghao here, since they also cook so well. As you might already know, DK is one of the avid chefs in svt and he's really happy to feed his members 🥹 Also can't wait to see you dive deeper into svt content and witness seungkwan's kitchen adventures lol.

I haven’t watched the Culinary Class school but really liked this episode. I think DxS promotions were more adorable and nostalgic and they didn’t push their energy like for bss.

Hmm yes I could definitely see them being extra 'careful'. DK was nervous. Actually, he gets kind of hesitant and careful when he's cooking, especially with a person like Chef Ahn. While Seungkwan, I think he was just weighing how much can he fool around Chef Ahn? And they both really respect him. I like Culinary Class Wars (specifically S1)! I checked out channels and interviews of the chefs from S1, including Chef Ahn's channel. My favorite episodes so far, from top of my head, are 1. Chef and his son's cooking face-off and 2. when Yoona was a guest, she brought her own knife which was huge and she handled it skillfully.

Seungkwan is just so cute this year, and every year, but he's super cute lately. He knows he can't cook but he's still doing his best to entertain while DK cooks for the both of them. And DK is a great cook, and a very sweet one. He mentioned his mom in this video, and a few days ago during Carat Day (the anniversary of the day Carats got their name) he made Carats seaweed soup. I'm very excited for the Tipsy Live!!! There shouldn't be anything else big dropping in between, but there was the DK LeeMujin Service video too, if you wanna check it out moving forward! And finally, just a random fact: chuck flap cuts are Jeonghan's favorite.

Happy belated 218 bros day btw! DK and Vernon share the same bday, 2/18, but on different years so we call them the 218 bros 🥹 they always do a bday live together for it
