Absolute minefield of inside jokes and memes, this one XD Not just ones that started from this, but they also parodied a lot of stuff from before, it seems like!

So instead of the usual stuff, let us just reiterate this very important question.

2019 GoSe ep 3-4 next, or skip and go for Going Seventies + something else that's of moderate length? Or just resume with GoSe 2021? It's all really up to you :D

For me the MVP is Wonwoo for sure because hedid such a great job Vernoning 😂😂 also the S.coups bitting thing is that he gets shy very easily and in the early days he used to bite on to other members when he got shy (mostly Jeonghan there are a lot of clips of that he used to bite jeonghan for no reason) and well for me I think you should do the Going seventies+ something and then move on to gose2021.

Yeeessss I was waiting for this!!! The 5th anniv video is basically an extra GoSe episode with the way it's formatted. It's a treasure trove of references and memes tbh. Actually, a lot of the references here that you might not have gotten comes from many different variety content/inside jokes/other videos of SVT, and not just the ep 3-4 2019 GoSe. There's a separate compilation video of all those references i think if you wanna watch on your own time. Nonetheless, as you said, you already know the members well enough to recognize how well (and how funny) they imitate each other. Like you get the mannerisms and the GoSe-based references. To answer some of your questions: 1. The DK hand thing is from a viral clip in their IF series. HIT was a pre-release for (and also a part of) their 2019 full album, An Ode, where Fear was the title track. Solid solid album, I cant wait until you get to it!! My favorite moments: - The half funny half endearing messages to themselves at the end <3 - Dino and Hoshi "crying" as their characters - Woozi imitating Dino. Period. - Vernon sneezing beats - The short interview parts My MVP for most accurate imitation is Wonwoo!! He didn't speak that much, but he got Vernon's mannerisms down to the last detail!! And that outfit is from the 2019 GoSe ep 3-4 btw. My other MVP for funniest was Minghao. Save that man i think his soul left him trying to impersonate hoshi 😂😂 My personal preference is to resume GoSe 2021 from here because we have lots of fun episodes to get to~

Just HILARIOUS all around. They just know each other's idiosyncrasies so well that it gets them to a point where just being a bit good at body language acting has us in stitches. I'm sure that in Korean it's even funnier because they get the tone and the way they say words right too. Something I saw is Korean Carats describe Jeonghan's way of speaking as "앙냥냥" and I wonder if DK managed to replicate it. I also heard that Scoups talks in a very cutesy pouty way, but I could sort of hear it when Mingyu was talking. The MVP for me would have to be Hoshi, simply because he's a REALLY good impersonator of all the members but his Seungkwan impersonation is weirdlyyy specifically good. But I will give Mingyu kudos for how spot on his Scoups acting was. To answer your question from the beginning: I DON'T think it's crucial to watch the 2019 GoSe episodes right now. The Vernon outfit Wonwoo was wearing IS from that, but other than that and the joke he makes about the sunglasses, there isn't anything else I can think of that would make you have to pause 2021 GoSe and go back just yet. And maybe you should save Going Seventies for another thing? Personally I think you could just go ahead with 2021 GoSe with no problem. In my opinion 2019 GoSe and other content from early days is better consumed slowly when you're caught up with the current stuff while waiting for new stuff because that way there's always something to watch and learn. Also the "부담" thing Joshua did was a reference to something Jun did during a live when they were touring in 2019. Maybe the next SVT livestream you'll watch that!

seungkwan actually cried during the mv reaction to hit for missing the group dance due to an injury so hoshi was just so perfect then💀💀 and I don’t remember exactly what video it is of dokyeom slapping the wall, but it was a “what’s in the box” moment and he touched noodles and screamed and smacked the wall multiple times which is where that’s from😭

U need to watch SEVENTEEN IF , it seventeen own variety content, much shorter videos, and doesnt have that many episodes. The videos are a good length to binge 2 episodes together . Its a lot of fun. That scene where DK played by dino was screaming and waving his had while facing the wall is an inside joke that originated from SEVENTEEN IF.

This was such an enjoyable watch! I've seen so many clips from this, but never the whole thing so it was great to check it out here with you. Especially the Vernon sneezes, those are so iconic but I never knew this is where they came from! My MVP would have to be either The8 or Woozi, I love that they went all in with the silliness which is such a contrast to how we often see them on shows, of course they have their own silly/chaotic moments but for the most part they're two of the calmer members so it was extra entertaining seeing their takes for Hoshi/Dino. Special shoutout to Hoshi though for his Seungkwan impression, and DK did actually sound quite similar to Jeonghan in a few parts which was impressive as well. I honestly haven't seen Going Seventies or those Going Seventeen 2019 episodes, so I can't speak to if they make more sense to get to before resuming Going Seventeen 2021. I guess my personal preference would be to just continue with the 2021 episodes, but don't really have strong feelings either way so whatever works best for you!

It's totally fine if you don't get to the 2019 episodes! They mostly serve as background for the GoSe 2021 "GOING COMPANY" ad-libs and some recurring inside jokes. As for the 5th Anniversary Special, it was really just a sweet little wink to Vernon’s appearance and character. Since the series was still in its early stages, the production style hadn't fully matured yet, so it might clash with the flow of your current marathon. It's not essential info, just my perfectionist streak coming out to give you the full picture! 😉 That said, "Going Seventy" is in a league of its own – it's absolutely hilarious, and it's actually a fantastic idea to check it out! Honestly, the choice is yours. Whether you go for this special episode or stick to the 2021 timeline, I'm happy with whatever you decide 😊
