You just KNOW this is our thing XD RECORDING BEHIND FOR S-CLASS LET'S GO!! So much to talk about :D

Geeking out right now XD We love recording behinds so much yo, esp cuz we got experiences of our own, whether it be producing and recording for an artist, recording for ourselves, both professionally and nonprofessionally :)

And it's always even better because I come from a singer songwriter background, and Han-C from a producer background, and the way we look at recording is completely different due to the nature of our roles in the booth :):)

As always, questions are welcomed, and we'll be back again with the final part of this series...well, not really part of the series but it sorta is I guess...STAYWEEK special recording behind video :D

Enjoy <3

OMG My fav part of the intro😆😆 Perfect after a hard day at work🫠🫠🫶🏼 1:14 It would be amazing if we could get guide ver. of all songs

Guys, slow down! I haven't even finished the JxW video yet!!

Tristana Keauna

Changbin and his cracked voice in HIP HOP STEP - will never NOT be funny... mostly because SKZ still don't let him live it down haha

Brianna E

Ok, I'm back after watching! I love this intro style so much, getting all these insights and peeks behind the curtain to see how much effort and work the members all put into their music! Seeing the dynamics and interactions between the different members, like how gentle Chan's feedback and guidance is for IN vs more matter of fact for others like Lee Know, you can tell just how well they know each other and have mastered the ability to work as part of the team. Will never get tired of seeing truly talented people do what they do best!

The voice crack is funny, and then it gets made funnier by Chan intentionally pressing the button so Changbin can hear him laughing too. Absolutely hilarious 😂

I did mention before that recording vids are my favorite, so I've watched them all many times. We've been blessed to get little clips in the 'regular' album intro videos, but you do learn so much more when it's more than just a minute here and there. I think you'll love the STAYweek and RockStar ones bc they also add a new element to things. As you said, it's interesting to see how some members are in the recording booth, & how they take direction. I don't remember where it's from 100%, (I do think it's maybe the I am you intro.... ) where Chan kind of talks about his specific approach to directing IN, and how he's wants to make sure he's not kind of restricting their creative expression. But as you also said, in this case they are recording a song written by 3Racha so they are kind of deferring to those members. And no spoilers, but you will get to see how it's a little bit different when they're recording a song that's not specifically written by 3Racha the unit. I also really love seeing how the different 3Racha members approach each directing each member. They always adjust their approach to what that member needs, which is an incredibly important skilI. And you do get to see it occasionally when 3Racha directs other groups, like Chan and NiziU (I don't remember the song name) and Changbin for Itzy on Vay. I would truly love to see them recording some more of their solo songs, we didn't get to see much in the HOP intro. I'd like to see what it looks like when a member is recording a song they wrote, but still having Chan or someone else there to run the recording or give feedback. I just think that would be fascinating. And then you also have occasions where 3Racha have written songs for other members to sing like Hold On, Goodbye, and Still here (Seungmin singing songs written by Han, Chan, & Changbin respectively) or something like Hallucination, that Changbin originally wrote for himself then gave to IN to sing with adjustments to fit IN's voice & the tone he wanted. One last thing though, since you were specifically interested in how Seungmin records. There is a behind for him recording Phobia (one of his OSTs last year that I'm pretty sure you've already reacted to). If you wanted to react to it, that's totally cool, but even if you just wanted to check it out in your off time, you might find it interesting to see his process there, especially since it's separate from SKZ and he's being directed by people outside of the normal SKZ bubble. Yes!!! I have been secretly hoping for your reaction to skz recording bts for long!!

J.A. Moore

This is one of my FAVORITE bts videos from SKZ. What I enjoy most is how positive and constructive 3Racha are when they're instructing the members and making small corrections here and there. They always give the members great feedback. 3Racha also has an amazing reputation throughout the K-pop industry. Not only for how hard they work, but also because other artists who have worked with them say that they always feel so comfortable and encouraged when they record with Chan, Changbin and Han. And I can totally see why. They are never negative or harsh. And their sense of humor is always present, too. Love that. --------------------------------- Also, as mentioned in someone's previous comment, I would love for you guys to react to two related videos: Seungmin's OST for the webtoon "I'm the Queen in This Life." The song is called "Phobia." (****not to be confused with SKZ's song of the same name.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdgJGUDXO5o And then, Seungmin's recording session for that song ^^^^. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atTj1vHkuZo

I really enjoyed watching Seungmin record "Phobia". The producers he was working with had a similar style, but of course it was more formal. Those guys were older than Seungmin, and he didn't have the same comfort level with them as he does with 3Racha. But still, those producers were also very encouraging, and I think Seungmin REALLY impressed them with his vocal skills and diligence.

I think always say the same but really the intros, practices and recordings are the content the I love the most, is just so amazing to see them work their art. Because they are not just the singers and rappers they are the producers behind the music, and that’s what makes it so special to me, to see and respect so much about them. YES like hearing Han and Changbin record is like WOW blows my mind, they sound amazing is so awesome and Chan too really if you notice, 3racha are perfectionists of they own just like Seungmin, they go and go and go and just when they liked stop. Love seeing Seungmin always bc omg he’s just amazing and yeah he has his own standards, and I notice that now Lee Know, IN and Hyunjin have cultivate their own standards and tell what they think to 3racha, I guess is bc they have vocal lessons and more confidence on their voice, love to see that too. Idk I like see them have this comfort with each other in the studio bc can be stressful sometimes and see them working on with respect and feedback is amazing.

We actually checked out Phobia a long time ago during one of the SKZ night livestreams (AND posted it on YT) :D We even talk about it in the recent OST marathon if I'm not mistaken. But either way, haven't seen the recording session so we'll keep that in mind :D

chi

Ohhh love this!!! I have a feeling you'll love the next one even more haha.

J.A. Moore

Oh! Hmmmm. I wonder if I missed it, or just forgot. I'll check.

Pushnitsya

The stay video was sososo great 😭 they dropped all the songs, it's majestic. I think, with intros, we never had it so good as with 5 star. I love hearing them talk about the song, but if you also show me the dance practice AND the recording?? I'm the happiest stay ever

J.A. Moore

Ha! Turns out, I did miss that. Just watched it. :) And yes, check out the studio recording video for Seungmin's OST "Phobia." It's great.

EL Knox

Recording sessions are my absolute fav! ... esp Han I would love to have seen more of him here ... he and Changbin just crack me up.

Peilityyni

It is always interesting to see when Changbin is directing Chan, because usually he seems to direct himself.

Elina

I have a feeling that Changbins legendary "HIPhop" soundbite went straight to Stray Kids group chat, considering that they all knew it and clowned him for it in both the dance practice video and IHT. These guys absolutely loooove each-others voice cracks.

tashalovestotoro

This video was so fast! I could watch an hour of their recording behind it’s so fascinating! I guess my only questions would be: is this how recording sessions are? Does it seem more comfortable do most producing sessions chop the vocals more? It’s just so cool to see. My secret wish is to have one of these recording behinds for every album they roll out 😂

Brianna E

I mean, I'm not complaining at all, it's a great problem to have not knowing which bonus video to watch first! XD Truly though, the amount of content you're able to put out is amazing and very much appreciated, so thank you!

Kwestleo

Okay I'm excited to watch this with you because I know you guys are from a music background so I'm always excited to hear your takes on things. I always love hearing the guides too. Wait what at home see you start laughing? You know it's getting serious when he takes off the jacket. That's how you know it's time for him to lock the fuck in. LOL so all of his takes her perfect it's literally just figuring out which one fits the best. Hyunjin's hair looks so funny here. Hun looks fucking fantastic and that turtle neck and leather jacket. It's hilarious watching Felix record because he does that hand thing every time. And it's so adorable. I love how cute and sweet and docile Lino is when it comes to recording. I.N is such a cutie patootie here. I'm crying the way chance started celebrating when I.N took off his jacket. Seungmin is a perfectionist when it comes to vocals. Okay firstly I love when they sing with their hands. secondly that little noise at the end of when he was done singing reminds me of venom. It ended so abruptly but it's so funny.

I’m so happy you’re reacting to skz recordings! I really appreciate your knowledge and the way you explain things it adds an extra layer to the boys and makes me enjoy the music even more. ❤️
