Okay. Time to finally check out THE video we've been waiting for since DAY 1 of our SVT journey: Tipsy Live.

And BECAUSE we waited for so long, we thought it's only right to get that first experience as close to perfection as possible XD

Circles is special because Woozi wrote it with Wonwoo in mind (it was during this time that WW's mother passed away [which is also around the same time as the Killing Voice]. Woozi may not be verbal with his feelings but he almost always dedicates songs to his members. It's his way of expressing himself to the people he loves. The reason the lady behind them (all of the people are their staff) is so suprised to see Woozi drink is because he doesn't-- if rarely-- drinks. In his studio Universe Factory, there's a pillar with a mural of the four things he doesn't do: smoking, drinking, tattoos (which he's done now because he got a tat of his cat), and getting piercings. So if you see Woozi drink, it's a very rare occurence. Thank you for another enjoyable reaction video!! Keep it up! 🫶

Woozi wrote Circles shortly after Wonwoo lost his mom, so it has extra meaning for them for that reason. Also you asked about the background singing in Circles, Woozi had a children’s choir come in and record for that part! I think it’s shown in the behind video for that song.

First, about asking who's a drinker. 🙋‍♀️ I used to just drink when I hang out friends, but since I got into kpop I started to appreciate drinking alone (so I totally get what you about it being a korean thing) and yes while watching live performances. I tried drinking while watching gose but I had to rewatch the next day. 😆 I also agree with what you said about Woozi crying the way he did here hits different, though wait until you see the Caratland performance. Tipsy Liveee!! So glad you were finally able to react to this, it's my favourite Tipsy Live I've seen. The emotional whiplash is real though, they really just dropped us in the middle of drunk SVT and said good luck XD. Also, as much as I could've watched another 20+ minutes of this (even if Hoshi wouldn't have made it that much longer) I think that for the time it came out this was on the longer side. From what I can tell the older format of Tipsy Live used to be quite short, then changed around the time SVT's came out into the format we've seen from other groups like Ateez. So I guess we should be glad they did it when they did and not sooner! As for drinking, I drink more during group gatherings, like holidays, bbqs, board game nights, or when I go out to eat at a restaurant. I'm not a huge drinker though, I max out at like 3 drinks. I might make the occasional drink to enjoy on my own while watching something but not as often. I'm kind of blanking on what to recommend next! Finishing up SVT Project would be great, but if you want other content I'll link a few options. It would be nice to see something with more group members since there's been a lot of solo/unit variety content. We finally made it... Tipsy Live! Now you can join everyone else waiting for part 2 of that and Killing Voice. I'm not sure where you've heard it before, but I know it wouldn't have been TTT because Circles came out in 2022, and all the TTT's you've watched until now were before that. And to answer your question - shingibbangi won the most popular internet meme in 2021 in a survery Korean netizens voted on! Carats use it when they go out to drink. Another answer to Han-C's question about the background chorus in Circles: it's a children's choir. Woozi even posted a video on his instagram once of them recording it and thanked them for it. Circles means a lot to Woozi, and all the other members too, but they always say that Woozi's life orbits the group, that they're his reason to keep going. We don't know all the details but 2022 was a really hard year for all of them, a combination of the long COVID restrictions and other personal things they went through. Wonwoo unfortunately lost his mother early that year and took a month's break from the group to mourn all while they had to constantly work towards making another studio album and prepare for a possible world tour. It wasn't easy, and the song really reflects that. Now to a bit happier subjects: you might be wondering what to go to next, and while there are a bunch of options, I will first say that Mingyu went on Self-On Kode recently! So there's that for now. maybe y'all heard Circles in Woozi's Suchwita a while ago. but it's amazing that Han-C still remember lol nahh we've got so much more contents to take out from our treasure box so don't be sad! i think you can start with MMTG or seventeen IF series. all are in short episodes so it's very doable imo

When I got to know Svt, Woozi was a member who surprised me most in terms of personality. At first he seemed very calm, quiet and a little bit distant. But more I listened svt songs and watched gose, I found him very emotional, funny and full of love for people around him. He looks at members with such of love and always laughs/smiles when they do something funny.

All amazing recommendations, love their content with Na PD! I do think though that these make a lot more sense when they're watched alongside NaNa Tour/NaNa BnB since they reference those shows a decent amount in the Chattering with Nah videos.

The chorus part in Circles was a children’s choir! This was one of my favorite lives! I love how Hoshi was plastered and super emotional, DK’s pitch was perfect even while drunk, and Woozi getting all the love during Circles. Fun fact, during the first round of concert performances of Circles, Woozi was never able to finish his lines because he kept getting too emotional.

myungsoo’s show with minghao and vernon is a good choice since they announced their unit coming in june! i don’t love kode’s episode with mingyu because of how much ai they used, and kiof is pretty much cancelled with western fans because of racist comments and it feels like knetizens have forgotten about that

Yep, the first 2 part Chattering With Nah came out pre Nana Tour so it definitely works as a teaser to Nana Tour, and I'm sure that was part of the original intention behind releasing it beforehand. I watched it both before and after I watched Nana Tour and enjoyed it more the second time since I had a better understanding of the references they were making, but that's just my personal preference. Either way it's a great watch!

they really went through hell before this, the last tour OTY never made it to europe due to covid, members' deteriorating health during the tour , 2 online concerts due to social distancing and not being able to see fans, wonu losing his mother, coups and gyu's hiatus. that's why we also saw kwannie hannie etc crying or holding back tears, they went thru it all as a group. hoshi was an emotional mess cos the man is a light weight, and also seeing woozi and wonu emotional was a lot for him, but did you catch him wiping his snot away with the drawstring from his shorts tho lol bss on masked singer goes off.

The mind-boggling thing is, after this Tipsy Live, SVT apparently continued drinking and partying (I would've passed out). Their unending partying led to the infamous "Kissing Booth" photos. The photos are of the members cuddling and yes, kissing. Also, they uploaded the photos without telling staff so that's great. That sort of fandom culture can be partially attributed to SVT being shameless kpop fanboys (especially Professor Boo Seungkwan who openly encourages Carats to listen to a lot of kpop in his weverse lives -ESPECIALLY girl group songs), and secondly, because SVT are also open about their friendships and bonds with other groups so Carats like to check in. We can't pick 'unsuitable' songs for them to cover/perform at CARATLAND if we don't know other kpop songs after all. Finally, both SVT and Carats are deadly serious about being unserious so Carats took the task of spreading Jeonghan's silly meme very seriously.

I'd like to recommend their song 우리, 다시 (Us, Again). It's not a part of any album and the official video itself is a lyric video. I'm not sure if there are other videos of the song during the time it got released other than Carats singing it. The song does come back in NaNa BnB so I do recommend listening to it before getting into that series. Though, of course, there's still plenty of time to get to the song since NaNa Tour comes first.

So, Woozi wrote Circles for Wonwoo after his mom passed away and it's a very emotional song for them to sing (as you can see by the Tipsy Live), there's a performance of them singing Circles at Caratland that is absolutely beautiful, but also heartbreaking so prepare yourselves if you end up watching it (tissue warning), they also sing Circles at the last episode of Nana Tour!

Seventeen's Tipsy Live was actually the first episode to reach the 20min though, most episodes before them were under 10min. Tipsy Live switched to the current longer format with their episode basically. It's deifnitely the only episode I've seen where the artist starts out THIS drunk though, and I think that definitely contributed to the rollercoaster of emotions they took us through in those few minutes 💀. And yes, both Woozi and Wonwoo are not the type be this vulnerable in front of the camera in general so seeing both of them fail to hold back their tears in this episode really hit Carats hard. Wonwoo especially, this episode was literally the first time we'd seen him cry EVER and that really broke my heart :(

I can't watch this video often because it makes me sob every time, but it's such a good video. There's also something so wonderful seeing men be able to freely express emotion and be kind and gentle to each other. I don't know if it's similar in Korean culture, but in the US the whole men shouldn't cry thing is too common.

During CARATLAND, circles was on the set list and woozi could not sing it without crying for all three days! I don’t think I’ve ever heard them perform it without woozi crying. It’s a really special song to them. Woozi wrote it for Wonwoo after his mum passed away and also for the rest of the members because they were all going through a lot at the time and he said he wished everything would turn back to normal like how a clock hand turns🥹

Ok, coming back with another recommendation because I can't resist. Obviously you already know about it so it feels a bit silly to mention but I've seen others advocating/asking for longer form shows as well so I thought I'd add my two cents- would love to see you react to NaNa Tour in the near future! I feel like Na PD content is to Seventeen what 1N2D is to Ateez, or Human Idol Theater is to Stray Kids. Truly just an amazing pairing that delivers iconic content again and again!

Seventeen do a section in the concert where they do sing older songs, take requests from carats for songs they havent sung in a while, its just that they nowhave 11 years of discography to pick from lol so some songs havent been performed in some time. Also Seventeen are all actually very touchy, feely with each other, kissing and hugging by all the members for each other is like such a norm for them. Perhaps you all didn’t know this, but even though they pointed out that Jeonghan rarely cries, but you guys missed that the one person that rarely cries and did cry then was Wonwoo. And I’m surprised you all didn’t notice it. He’s usually the calm one and rarely cries so it hurts so much to see him cry. Especially during the caratland singing circles. And like other carats said, it was because of his mom.

yep and Us Again was released as the epilogue to their Hit The Road documentary so maybe if they checked that out first because Us Again is apart of that. Each episode of Hit The Road aren’t long at all so it could go by quick if they watch multiple (maybe 3-5 eps) per video

Its just a suggestion , but i think its best if you guys first watch the svt chattering with Na PD , its only 2 episodes, before starting NANA Tour. Chattering with PD Na was released before, in anticipation for NANA TOUR .It will set ur expectations for NANA TOUR and give some hints about whats to come and chattering with Na PD was hilarious for other reasons too.
