THE perfect episode to watch if you want to know how each member functions in group setting XD though we gotta say, Hoshi was on a whole other level of crazy.

~2:48 - Fun detail here :D they changed coincidentally (우연히 woo-yeon-hee) to 우현히 (woo-hyeon-hee) because "Hyun"seok gave him the map. Thought it's funny XD

~48:38 - It says "comedy show" which is fine, but because Korean shows separate comedy show with variety show with very specific set of characteristics for each, I'd correct it and tell you that it was "what is this, a variety show?", which is why at 48:39, there's an on-screen text that reads, "It IS a variety show"

That should do, unless you have specific questions :)

This episode is so family coded, it's like seventeen is on a picnic, the parents are cooking the food while the kids run around the park trying to find an imaginary treasure 😂also... one more thing I would say about today's episodes and the next 2 episodes is that this was filmed after Don't Lie. Will elaborate more on it next week, there is a whole lore there. 😏 MVP for me is Hoshi no doubt he didn't give up on that music video, his tiger instinct knew there was no treasure to find on that island 🤣🤣 Also please consider starting One Fine Day/13 Castaway Boys please!! It is epic and for me personally before you move on to Nana Tour and In the Soop and stuff one fine day is a must.

actually I'm pretty sure a few episodes in 2021 were aired on JTBC (as well as their In the Soop series and comeback special), it was like a 5-6 week event thing where gose (and other SVT content) aired on tv every Thursday at 9PM KST, for a while before being uploaded onto YouTube or other platforms, Don't Lie 2 was also aired. I don't remember the exact reason but I'm pretty sure its because gose had blown up and gained a massive following outside of CARATs - 'cubics' (fans of gose/SVT content/personalities but not seventeen as a music grp/or Kpop necessarily) so they decided to put it out for general public more. I think it was also probably a promotional strategy on seventeens end

Love these episodes so much!! Firstly, we got so many sub-plots between Hoshi filming his music video, Jeonghan and Coups being Mom and Dad at basecamp while the kids were off playing, Dino wandering around clueless, and Wonwoo and The8's group being so sincere in the treasure hunt. Completely agree with D'Some that Wonwoo was super attractive here, love when we get to see this more engaged side of him in content! Woozi was also looking particularly good in his outfit, and it will never not blow my mind that that beautiful, tiny man is still taller than me. I think I'd give MVP to Jeonghan, I feel like he was the true winner her. Clock in to work just to spend a few relaxing hours on an island soaking in the fresh air and eating delicious food with a friend? Also special shoutout to the ultimate collab between Hoshi and his cameraman for that unnecessarily high quality Spider MV. I feel so bad for Wonwoo and The8, that ending would've pissed me off! I'd rather what Jeonghan thought, that the food & quality time together was the treasure. If I was Wonwoo or The8, Hyunseok would be getting a strongly worded text message or two XD. Super excited for Don't Lie next week!

This is totally unrelated to the episode but seeing the sogo reminded me. The sogo has made multiple appearances on the show that they actually released them as Caratland merch. It was in Seventeen colors and had their logo. This was also during the time when on-site audiences weren't allowed to scream so Seventeen released a fanchant (tutorial) video where they used them instead of chants.

It certainly was a story that followed the hero's journey. Wonwoo and The8 were so sweet, and Jeonghan and Scoups were interesting because they were almost the blackhole they kept talking about. "Maybe if we eat it here we sit here we'll get distracted and waste all of our time" and then they made it happen, for real? You really see how each of the members' wants and actions speak about their characters. It's almost like a movie study. Someone in GoSe 2022 once said (don't worry this isn't a spoiler!) that Jeonghan has the lowest capacity for persistence out of all the members, and it shows. I also think he was a bit sick during this episode? He kept sniffling and sounding a bit hoarse, so maybe that's the reason he's a bit less likely to move. And Scoups sweetly stayed by his side so he won't be alone. Or maybe they both just wanted to sit in the shade and eat like old men, which is hilarious in its own way because Joshua is the same age and he was running around with DK all day. Also I was so excited for some reason when Han-C guessed that what the bird's paradise meant is worms before the members even realized it. It kind of means that the staff's clue was right, but the members just didn't figure it out. My MVP for this are both Wonwoo and Minghao. Wonwoo for being so determined to win and Minghao for not yelling at Hoshi for filming an MV in the middle of the shoot (Minghao doesn't like Hoshi's tiger bit)! NEXT UP IS ANOTHER EPIC DON'T LIE!!! Keep your eye out for DINO AND JEONGHAN FOR THIS ONE!

Oh man, this episode is just so ludicrous! 😄 What I loved most the first time I watched this episode was seeing Wonwoo and Minghao so active and fully invested in the treasure hunt. Poor things – all that effort for it to end on such a frustrating note... But this episode is all worth it because because it marks the birth of Woozi's drone camera song, which has become such an adorable GoSe staple ​🥰 Oh, and the "Grandpa's Eleven Month" recorder song Woozi mentions is actually a nod to episodes 12-13, you'll understand the reference once you get there! But hold on… What's that I hear? Halt everything, roll out the carpet and BEHOLD! The legend itself, the one and only, the sensational, THE absolute iconic "Don’t Lie 3" making its grand entrance? 👑 It's a literal masterpiece, plain and simple. I'm saying no more. GET READY! 😉

the treasure was stolen by some intruders, so i feel bad for both the staff and the members. the episode could totally have a legendary ending, with the8 and wonwoo winning after working SO hard 😭 also, i think the production team should really give the8 and wonwoo some kind of prize, like wish coupons or something. coz imagine walking and trekking for 3 hours only to find out there was nothing 🫠 i totally agree that jeonghan and wonwoo are the epitome of yin and yang in life. throughout gose, you'll witness more intriguing things about their ways and how it translates as the result. it was really interesting!

Waaah, the ending is kinda sad, thinking of the member group who searched and went back and forth :") For me, MVP is Wonu and The8. I also love how Wonu said let's not inform the members. Additionally, I loved Hoshi's MV and Woozi's new song! The famous Drone song! We will get so much more of it, haha! Can't wait for Don't Lie!

Nooo nooo Wonwoo and Minghao were robbed this episode 😭😭 They did the treasure hunt so earnestly, i wish they could've gotten something for themselves. And bless their selfless hearts for deciding not to tell the members what happened so they won't be disappointed 🥹 Props to Jeonghan tho. Regardless if there was real treasure or not, Jeonghan *knows* the best thing to do to conserve his energy and still make a good show. I think him telling the members that the treasure was food and friendship all along was his way of telling them to " take a rest, don't tire yourselves too much, it's okay if we dont exactly find the treasure". It's like him bending the rules again, but in a different way. Anyway, Dont Lie 3!!!!! The banter in that is sooo good. And a historical moment that is cemented in svt history 🤭🤭

This is probably the episode i like the least of this season. Not because of the members, but firstly i think its sad that the treasure got stolen and secondly there is so much trash lying around on this island and it makes me sad and angry to see

I agree, I saw Wonwoo in a different light here and I also saw myself in him soooo this was a turning point for me in my carat journey. Butttt soooo disappointed that there was no treasure. And I hoped I would get clarity from watching your reaction coz I was so confused the first time. Now there’s three of us. Haha 😬
