We had a rough week waiting for Wanteez to drop (first HS world problem cuz we're usually VERY BEHIND)...so we thought it's only fair we drop this one ASAP :D

It's the second part of PAST LIFE WANTEEZZZZZ!!!!!

Seriously, hypnosis is such a magical thing, and while we find it quite random that it became a thing in Korea with this past life thing, but hey, we're not complaining.

Instead of reviewing things here, we would love to continue the convo with you all :D Which story did you find to be the most emotional, intriguing, or perhaps you'd love to see being made into a film? XD

And have YOU tried hypnosis session? Met a hypnotist? Tried the susceptibility/suggestibility test?

Let's talk more about it, and keep this episode alive until the NEXT one drops :)

Also, REALLY felt it for Seonghwa :'( We saw some comments later talking about how he had a tough time for the rest of the day, as well as how the hypnotist told HJ that he seems extremely suggestible :D Was there a bts talk or livestream where members talked about it?

Let us know! :)

Enjoy for now <3

OMG THANK YOU FOR THIS! 😍😭

Martina

I've never tried hypnosis, but during my internship (like 13 years ago 😅) we had some mental training in preparation for our exams, you know, to relieve stress and such. And I remember some people, myself included, crying during those. It was some kind of meditation, everyone closed their eyes etc. So I'm so curious how real hypnosis would feel like. It's so interesting. But I really don't know if it would work on me though, because even when I sleep, I'm a lucid dreamer, so I'm always aware I'm dreaming. So I don't know if I could really fall into such a trance. Wooyoung's really broke my heart because it felt too real, and similar to his character. I was sobbing during Seonghwa's hypnosis... And yes, on Fromm and during his live he talked about how it was a lingering experience and that it really impacted him that day.

Ugh I feel so bad for Seonghwa, you can definitely tell he was more affected by his experience, I don't think they even showed him after his until the closing statements. Hopefully he was able to take a bit of time/get some comfort if he needed it. I am curious about what types of things Yeosang watches/reads that his subconscious went to biblically accurate angel, and whether that also speaks to him seeing himself more as an observer than an active participant sometimes. I don't know that I found these episodes necessarily entertaining or intriguing, and other than feeling bad for Seonghwa I didn't find them particularly emotional either. Haven't tried/have zero interest in trying hypnotism and I suspect that I would not be susceptible. My favourite moment was hands down Yunho saying he wanted to bring his muscles from his previous life, and I'd definitely watch the k-drama of elite warrior Yunho! Looking forward to the next episodes, and yes being caught up and especially waiting a week between two-parter episodes is brutal, first world problems indeed XD.

This is a pleasant surprise! And the waiting also kills me, I started watching Ateez content when Wanteez was available so yeah. Even with your content, I joined in Jan and I now find myself waiting for Sundays and Wednesdays 😂 coz I've watched most of your Ateez content. Might have to start watching everything else LOL

ayyy y'all are goated for uploading part 2 so fast thanks a lot! <3 also are you guys planning to watch the newest 1N2D or is there something else you have scheduled before that :0 ?

I'd say the past life that I was most intrigued by has to be Yeosang's because honestly I didn't know where he was going with the description of his past self and once they revealed the biblically accurate angel I was shocked..I've never seen this version before only the typical beautiful angels. So I was just as surprised as him when they showed the picture but NOT surprised that Yeosang's past self was an angel lol As for who I felt a bit emotional for would probably be Wooyoung's past life, because he didn't seem to have had any happiness in that life and to have felt the pressure of feeling like a burden or felt like everything would be best if he's past self was gone..hurt.. For Hongjoong and Mingi I found funny, because HJ was so proud of himself as a village protector (he was so cute) when he said "I'm cool" cracked me up but then felt bad for his child passing..at least we can say his past self did leave having lived a happy life with no regrets. As for Mingi, he had me because he was just so blunt and straightforward with his responses (typical Mingi lol) but at least he has no regrets XD

Handsome Sausages

:D We hope to expand ATEEZ slot as well so there's that for you, but also, DEF START WATCHING EVERYTHING ELSE CUZ I PROMISE THEY'RE WORTH IT XDXD :)

Handsome Sausages

That muscle delivery from Yunho was perfection XD Still cracks me up

Handsome Sausages

Ohhh really should check out the live then :D Also, totally get you on the meditation part cuz I think it's quite similar...but excuse me, LUCID DREAMER IN THE HOUSE. Who needs hypnosis when you can lucid dream?!

Martina

Haha yeah, lucid dreaming is quite fun. Also means I don't really have nightmares, cause when it gets too scary or uncomfortable I just change the dream and kinda teleport myself into another setting 😂 or just force myself to wake up then. I can also continue a dream after being woken up for a moment, and control most of what's happening in general.

Mars (they/them)

It's really interesting seeing what their subconscious manifested....Yunho is quite religious and Yeosang lives with Yunho so I wonder if he passively absorbed some information about angels at home? For Seonghwa and HJ, It's really seems to parallel their roles in Ateez. I hope they're able to talk about the deeper meanings among themselves in private.

Martina

ATEEZ SLOT EXPANSION? 😱😱😱 YES PLEASE OMG. I don't even know anymore how many times I've rewatched all your Ateez videos already 🤣

Kabelo(까베로)

OMG! SHUT UP!!!!! I'm here for an expansion! Also, since we're talking about expansion. There's a masterlist of Ateez content - categorised and dated for clarity. Let me know if you'd want that I know you watched Stressor Things. This is some of their Universe content. Wooyoung’s was that one that got to me the most. He was just a kid but experienced so much hate and hardship that the only way for it to be over was to die. 😭😭 Seonghwa’s was also sad too bc he really couldn’t say much to protect himself and to protect others. This experience really affect Seonghwa the most. He said on his live that he needs time to recover. 😭

Brianna E

If you're open to exploring other groups I'd recommend looking into the Stray Kids (SKZ) content here!! So much to go through, and I feel like there's a lot of crossover between the Stray Kids and Ateez fandoms!

Kabelo(까베로)

Feels like the next natural path honestly. I still think Mayfly is the best thing to come out of a competition show and I need more

Brianna E

Do it!! Will also never be over Mayfly, I've revisited Kingdom way too often to be healthy at this point.

This dropped while I was on my way to work this morning and all I could think about was getting home to watch! I don't really believe in past lives, but I find psychology quite fascinating. I think Yeosang's was the most interesting, because even as a Christian, I don't think I ever learned about an angel that looked like the one in Yunho's photo. And the fact that his happiest moment was tasting an apple? I am curious about Seonghwa's happiest moment being meeting a man in a coat in an alley? Was that someone he loved? The person he killed right before he himself died? I'd like to try being hypnotized sometime. I really don't think I can, though. I think I have aphantasia where you're not able to create a picture in your mind and that's an important piece of the hypnosis process.

The sessions with Seonghwa, Wooyoung, and Hongjoong really moved me. Seeing them completely immersed and literally experiencing a painful moment, without actually seeing it but only through their descriptions, was painful. It's quite fascinating to see what can come out of someone's subconscious, but in the end it reflects their personality well and shows how authentic they are.

Nicky Bomberry

Yeosang interested me the most. I had never heard of a biblically accurate angel before this episode. And of course Yeosang would be an angel.😇

Eva Minster

Yeosang's was the most interesting. I could tell he was definitely under hypnotism. When he was asked stuff related to human emotion, he answered in a way where it sounded like he knew the concept, but never experienced them like a human has. If that makes sense? I loved Mingi's curt answers. I like how he commented on those adults nagging him. lol. This is something I'd like to try one day. Not sure if I'm susceptible or not. However, I can say the emotional thing is real. I've never done this, but I have had sessions with someone who helps me with spiritual stuff, and sometimes I just start sobbing out of the blue. No idea why, but I've cried like a part of me still remembers the pain and what it's related to even though I'm personally not aware. So I can understand if Seonghwa remained sad that day.

The ones that interested me the most were Seonghwa's, Yeosang's, and Wooyoung's. For Seonghwa, there was so much mystery and intrigue, but it was also very serious and sad. It makes you want to know how he got to where he was, what he was like before, and who was the person he was holding at the end of it all. And although his "story" would make a good drama, it hurt soo much to watch him cry. The silent crying the moment he walked through that door; I was immediately in tears. And when he said he couldn't breathe, I wanted them to end it right then and there. The hypnotist thanking him for his service and his sacrifice had me crying all over again. It was such a beautiful and sincere statement that I hope it did help heal whatever part of Seonghwa's subconscious needed to hear it. Yeosang's was interesting because everything he described, outside of himself, was as if he was observing everything/everyone from afar. It was less of "what he was doing" and more just "what he sees others are doing". Plus, Yeosang being an angel in his past life and this being his first life as a human definitely tracks. 😂😂 Not only because of his ethereal beauty and aura, but also because of his kindness, empathy, innocence, and naivety. He's very smart but he can sometimes see the world in an idealistic or simplistic view. I hope that never changes. I hope he continues to see the good in others and the world. ❤️🥰 Wooyoung's was like a drama. Although it was incredibly sad, you hope the child found happiness in the days he had with the person who protected him. If it was a drama, I'm sure it would be a tear-jerker. But Wooyoung's was also a tough watch because it felt like the life of the young king had similarities with Wooyoung's as a child, where he felt very alone. I was quietly crying when he talked about taking the poison even though he didn't want to but did because it was essentially the only thing he could do. But when my mind connected the loneliness of the child with Wooyoung's loneliness as a child I was sobbing. Oh, as for Jongho, I knew he was lying right away 😂😂 It really just sounded like he was spinning a story lmaooo. And when you look back at each of them, I feel they all had some bit of connection to how they are as a person today (of course, it being their subconscious), but Jongho's really had nothing to do with how he is today 😂 I know none of us Atiny thought we would be starting the new season of Wanteez on sad note. Thankfully everything looks lighthearted and fun after this, haha.
