2022 started with a BANG.

SVT was NOT joking around with the start of this season XD Absolutely hilarious

We're here to celebrate the start of a new season, and again, hyped that it started strong :D we talk enough about everything in the video itself, so let's instead talk about two things in the comments :):)

YAYAYAY 2021!!!!! IM SO EXCITED IF YOU COULD NOT TELL FROM THE ALL CAPS!!! P.S. From what I found, typically it takes 3-6 months for rice to grow from seed to harvest, meaning it's possible for them to be eating the rice they planted.

MVP for me its ahs to be a tie between Joshua & Hannie/Dk. This is still the start of crazy Joshua, it will escalate even more from here.😂 When it comes to food I have to go with Hoshi, the nostalgia of Mom packing my Lunch with all my favourite things, that's the one for me. I am not Korean or have that much knowledge of Korean food but, rice is a staple in my culture too so for me it's rice with a hot lentil soup we have called 'Aamti' and some raw mango pickle plus yogurt on the side. Also I know we don't see Hannie and Dk together that much but they have been very close since debut. If you see their little travel vlogs on the YT channel, they are always together. I always remember this one interview SVT did in the early days, where Hannie said that, 'Dk is very innocent and naive, he is going to get scammed' 😂 and that he feels like that's why he should always stick beside him, so that duo is very unexpected but they are very close to eachother. I remember Jeonghan shot some content with Hyungwon from Monsta X and as soon as they were done he called Dk to tell him what he was doing. They are a very fun and chaotic duo.

First things first, the squeaky sound and audio weren't a bother at all, it's nice to hear the doggy/ies' presence in the video 😂 I think these episodes are really underrated because if you think about it, it's a very simple concept, and yet SVT elevates it in a way that makes their different personalities shine. Like Mingyu had the "normal" approach and yet he still cooked 13 servings knowing the other members would eat it too. Dino and Hoshi are both very family-oriented and it shows a lot here. Lee "Master Comedian" Dokyeom and Yoon "Content Monster" Jeonghan had to COMMIT to that skit even if (as they said) they actually didn't have to. And of course, Joshua's. Insane. Stunt. Like his approach is very Joshua: he presents his ramyeon and rice, very seemingly normal, and then suddenly he's dousing himself in ice cold water. Even their own votes say a lot about themselves!! Like how Dino and Mingyu voted for each other because they knew the other spent a lot of effort cooking. Or how Shua and DK-Jeonghan also voted for each other as fellow performers. My favorite moments: - The snort-laughs from Jeonghan and DK as they were cringing at their skit - Wonwoo showing more emotion watching his members' skit than watching Netflix earlier 😭 -Woozi barely doing anything and still winning -Hoshi's family cameos (they were so adorable, seriously) I have to crown Joshua as MVP in this one. His stunt is still one of the most iconic GoSe scenes to date, and his committment to water is unmatched. Shua, you are absolutely crazy in the best way. I totally get hungry over this too! Rice is a staple for me so it's really hard to think what goes best with it. I guess I'll choose based on "what dish would I not be able to eat *without* rice". One is fried-chicken, especially K-fried chicken covered in sauce!!! There's also "sinigang" from where I am which is kind of like a hot sour soup and you *must have* rice with it 😋 On to the infinite challenge episode!! It's such a good one and I'm sure you who have watched the original Infinite challenge would enjoy it~

THE RICE HERO AND THE HUNGRY VILLAIN HAVE ARRIVED. I was surprised, actually, when D'some said that he's not used to seeing Jeonghan and DK act like that, I don't know if you meant "embarrassed" or something else because we're all very used to SeokHan's antics and the way DK goes along with all of Jeonghan's ridiculous ideas. But it IS rare that Jeonghan is so shy about it and gets second hand embarrassment that easily and I think that's funny. Obviously nothing tops Joshua's choice of how to enjoy rice and ramyeon but I think the Hungry Villain and Rice Hero should go on tour at elementary schools to encourage kids to eat healthy! The menu that was most appealing to me though was Woozi's because I am a picky eater and I also CAN'T eat spice I suffer from it so if I could just go around and pick my favorite pieces of every meal that other people have I will at least have a big dinner while I do it. My favorite joke from this episode honestly is when Vernon asking "where are the other members" and Wonwoo went "the Avengers?" and Vernon had to say "no, OUR members". Like Woozi said in Insomnia Zero Wonwoo is the funniest when he doesn't try to be. And HOSHI'S MOM!!! Actually the entirety of Hoshi's family has appeared on GoSe at some point and to this date is the only family of the members that all were present physically during a GoSe, for some reason. The MVP for me though is Seungkwan because if someone stole the food I specifically delivered fast from my parents and ate it in front of me I'd actually become incredibly violent and I respect him for holding back. GoSe just came back for the 2026 season this week and we're immediately back in the fun of it with a first episode that's amazing so I'm looking forward both to the next episode of it on Wednesdays AND the HS GoSe reaction on Fridays! With Nana Tour on Thursdays and Album Reactions on Saturdays the latter half of my week is full of Seventeen which is great in my eyes. Next episode is the Infinite Challenge episode!!! I know you guys are going to LOVE this one both because of the nostalgia but also because they're just REALLY funny in it, and the things they do are kinda crazy. Lastly, if you get the chance, since it was mentioned in this episode: Woozi has a 2022 mixtape single called Ruby and it's awesome so if you have the time please react to it! It's not what you'd expect!

Definitely meant embarrassed cuz they usually shameless with it XD and really, shoutout to SK but then again, variety show rules :D "for funs, all jokes, if it's funny, you gotta roll with it" and SVT members esp are probably VERY used to that idea given how much of a fan they seem to be w classic K variety shows (speaking of, so excited for the next ep)

Continuing to fill in the gaps of my own GoSe viewing with you, hadn't seen this episode yet (aside from the iconic Joshua clip I've seen several times). Loved this concept and how they all, in true SVT form, ran with it in such different ways. Picking my MVP is so tough because I loved all the different side quests these episodes produced, like the impromptu foot volleyball, S. Coups taking the opportunity to get some sleep, Wonwoo full on just watching TV, Hoshi roadtripping to his parents', Jeonghan and DK dying trying to rehearse their skit, meanwhile Dino and Mingyu are so wholesome taking the prompt at face value. I think just because it truly makes me so happy to see them happy, I'll go with Woozi and Wonwoo, but S. Coups and Jeonghan with their strategic wish coupon usage are close as well. Also, Hoshi's mom is quite possibly the sweetest person I've ever seen and it makes so much sense why Hoshi is the way he is. I don't think it's too much of a spoiler to say it's not the last time you'll see her in content, and each time we do it's such a treat! As for your other question, I'm not a huge rice person (my carb of choice would either be bread or pasta), so it's not something I really gravitate towards/have favourite foods I enjoy with it. If I do have rice it's mostly with indian food (dal makhani has been my go-to order lately, with a generous order of garlic naan as well). Rarely am I having straight up white rice with something though, just not a huge fan. One rice-based dish I do enjoy/crave occasionally is my Mom's rice pudding, she doesn't cook much but that is one thing she makes that I prefer to my own cooking, and she doesn't make it often so it's a treat when she does! I have seen next week's episodes already, but it's been quite a while. I think they're on the list of ones I checked out earlier in my discovery of SVT, and just didn't get back around to re-watching. I do remember enjoying them though, and I'm sure I'll enjoy them even more next week rewatching with you!
