This album (and by this album, we mean Teen Age cuz Director's Cut in our minds is an extension of Teen Age) proves itself till the very end to be one of the best SVT albums...if not THE best album so far.

All we can say with this final track is, WOW. They did it AGAIN.

And honestly, more meaningful cuz we BOTH felt moved by this one—not just cuz it's actually "moving" but because it was such a pleasant surprise for different reasons. You'll see XD

So yeh, TEEN AGE + DIRECTOR'S CUT is officially our favourite album so far. Boom. We said it.

Let's finally move on (if you want us to :D) to Call Call Call with some cool links.

Good news! Jeonghan and Joshua will be debut as unit this coming October. And I’m so excited about it. I hope they will making something like this again, yet at the same time discovering another genre that they never showed us before.

The end of the TeenAge+Director's Cut! Well, nothing really ends with Seventeen but for now we're going to leave it behind and move on to the next thing! I was actually trying to think if there was something to ask for in terms of album wrap up like if there's a performance or something that I can suggest, but I couldn't come up with anything that didn't also require you guys to react to the other 2018 album (after Call Call Call) called You Make My Day, so we'll have to wait for that maybe. I always end up sort of thinking that HS has some serious Seventeen connection magic because on the same week I was sending you links for the Jeonghan and Joshua Falling For U track, they announced that they will be the new Seventeen unit in October. It always ends up happening, like when with Thinkin About You and other tracks, so maybe I should start using your schedule to divine the next move out from Seventeen. I really do think and I sort of got convinced again that this was Joshua's album. The final track cemented it for me, he is the focal point of every song and even when you check out the thumbnails for the Thanks performance videos in music shows he's there. ALL HAIL THE JOSHUA ALBUM. Since you asked: my favorite album of Seventeen, of all time no caveats or "from the studio albums" or "from the special albums", is an upcoming album called Semicolon. You already reacted to Homerun from it but I swear it's a perfect album. No misses and no pause in the flow. It's a 2020 album so I think... next year? Will be when you get to it. no wait i cant with the ending 😂😂😂 Admittedly, this isn't in my svt playlist, but it's nice to hear you talk very lovingly about the track. The HS Universe-SVT coincidences are crazy tho,,, with you reacting to this now, there was an announcement a few days back that Jeonghan and Shua will be a unit!! (Congrats to your husbands Han-C!!) I also appreciate their tones here and it makes me wonder what kind of sound they go for in their debut. I hope they'll have at least one track that's in this vibe, or something along the lines of Shua's Fortunate Change and Jeonghan's Better Half. I personally don't have an album that I feel a close connection to, just select favorites that I really love musically, but there are some individual songs that are close to my heart. What I can say tho is that svt is always my comfort group, and it's a warm and proud feeling as a carat to witness you go on your journey of discovering svt (I'm almost jealous that the album is basically made for Han-C 😂) Call Call Call links!! I love how the timing always works out for you… few days ago it was revealed that Jeonghan and Joshua are gonna be the next unit to release an album, just in time as we got to this part of your svt journey! 🙂‍↕️ Now to answer your question, for me it's Attacca (Rock with you album). Just because that was kind of my peak as a seventeen fan. It was the svt era where I engaged the most with svt content online (album promotions were insane), at the same time interacted the most with other carats in offline events. Whenever that era is brought up, I'm just reminded of the fun of fangirling overall. Also maybe I'm being biased because it has my favorite svt song of all time. 😆 So excited for Call3x next!! I'm sure good links will be recommended but I just have to say, you already know choreography video is a must haha

This is such a cozy, soothing song to me, perfect to play when I'm having a lazy day at home, reading in my pjs and sipping a warm coffee! It's absolutely perfect for Jeonghan and Joshua's softer voices, like you mentioned, in a way that their group songs don't necessarily always suit their tones as perfectly (obviously their parts within those songs work well for them and they sound great, but the overall song might not be as well suited). Han-C, please don't feel bad about talking about yourself/how you feel about these tracks! It's so interesting hearing about these different connections/feelings you have about the songs and the album in general, at least for me I'm not just here because I love SVT/SKZ/ATZ, but because I love watching and hearing from you both as well! It's so nice being able to hear others talk about the things I love/am interested in, and being able to communicate here in the comments as well and see others' thoughts. Makes this k-pop discovery I've been on a lot less lonely since I don't have anyone irl to talk to about it. That being said, I don't really have an album that evokes similar feelings in me, for a long time music wasn't a really big part of my life so I rarely get nostalgic feelings listening to music. Probably the only type of music that I would feel a similar way about would be songs I played in school when I played violin, hearing those always takes me back to that time (with mixed feelings, not always fun going down memory lane). As for what to do next, I'm voting for moving on to Call Call Call for now. Nothing really comes to mind as a must watch to wrap up this album, and selfishly I'm excited to move the journey along as we're coming up to the era where there are a lot more of my personal highly rated songs/albums. Not that I want to rush you by any means, just can't wait to see your thoughts and how they compare to my own since we had fairly different opinions on this album.

Hearing you cover this lovely song would be so amazing! 😇 You really got to me toward the end, especially Han-C (I've noticed the teary eyes...), with that unexpected parallel between Seventeen's work and your own, and that beautiful, nostalgic feeling of revisiting past experiences through their music. Please don't feel bad for sharing those feelings, we really appreciate how open and real you are! 😉​ I have to say it once again: "TEEN, AGE" (and by extension "Director’s Cut") will always hold a special place in my heart. First, in my journey as a Carat and my introduction to K-Pop, but also on a much more personal level. This album accompanied me almost like a soundtrack during a time when things weren't going well. I was going through a period of great uncertainty, a time when I felt completely lost, disconnected, and overwhelmed by my studies, which I eventually decided to stop. Following that, I tuned out a lot of things and stepped away from K-Pop entirely, only to find my way back a few years later, pulled in by my fond memories of Seventeen's music. I was just curious to see how they'd grown and what they had released while I was gone. I caught up on most of their music and variety shows, and that's exactly when I slipped into the diamond life with no turning back. Seventeen has truly become my ultimate comfort group. They have this unique ability to heal your heart and lift you up from the inside out. It goes way beyond music, and I will never stop being grateful to them for that! ❤️

I mean i dont wanna spoil anything but their timing for the contents that they were going to react to soon is perfect. This song is on my chill playlist. I listen to it late at night and joshua and jeonghan’s voices calm me to sleep.

This might be the first time I got more emotional listening to your discussion afterwards than to the music itself. Thank you for taking such care and time with svt's music and for trusting us enough for those deep and vulnerable conversations 💗 This is one of those svt songs (like Twenty) that feels so light and uplifting, that makes the world around me seem like a more beautiful place while I'm listening, that I end up looping it about 10 times in a row. I really hope we get a Falling for U performance when Jeonghan x Joshua drops!

I audibly gasped at the ending when you said you should cover it, just for Han-C to shut it down immediately lol But jokes aside, thank you for sharing your thoughts. It's very touching to hear and I'm so glad SVT is able to make you feel this way. There are albums from other artists (not kpop) that have a very strong hold on me because those were the songs I listened to growing up and they are tied to specific memories. And I'm not sure I've ever felt the same way with new releases, as in I don't think there have been newer songs that would bring me back to those times like you. It's more that they become NEW memories. For example for SVT, the album I'm attached to the most is You Made My Dawn. I got interested in SVT during Fear, but You Made My Dawn (and You Make My Day actually) are what made me a Carat. They are linked to the memory of discovering something new and something special, and quite honestly the start of a new musical journey. I was still fairly new to kpop at the time, listening to different groups here and there, liking the songs, but nothing really stuck. But then Fear came along, I listened to Fear, I loved Fear, An Ode was enjoyable so I gave YMMDawn/YMMDay a go and got caught. I consider them a double album to be honest, they have very distinct and cohesive vibes and remind me so strongly of summer (YMMDay) and late autumn (YMMDawn), that I just feel like dropping into these seasons when I listen to them. They also contain some of my favourite SVT songs overall, so it's a mix of sentimental value and also music preference. Now for Call Call Call, the beginning of the love story between SVT and Japan! They made their Japanese debut with such energy and confidence that I'm not surprised they loved them from the start. This was funn! thank youuu!! Jihan really do work well together! I'm curious what will come to be of their new Unit hehehe! Also, speaking of them as a duo, they have this cover, of Lunafly's 얼마나 좋을까 and its my absolute fav!!!! Tho its very short maybe a minute, and then it plays a bgm of an interview with Jeonghan and I love it so much that I even watch that part and have kinda memorised it hahaha.
