What's with the first track of every SVT album being, uhm, fantastic? XDIt was objectively amazing, but also, we each loved this for different reasons, which I'm sure you'll find interesting :):)

OH AND THE DANCE. It's been some time since we reacted this strongly to a SVT choreo vid!

Structure, sound, vocal (esp from our vocal unit!), you name it. So many things that make it stand out as a special first track, esp because it's...not what we expected from this track? And let me reiterate: THE DANCE.

"What-what is this, are they tied up?" 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I am CACKLING. Yes, only after the lyrics video, you already grasped the essence of Good to Me: it's a sexy svt song! Really glad you chose the Stage Mix because they highlighted the floor hump move. I love how mindboggled Han C was that he saw Mingyu as Jun😂😂😂 First of all, the adlibs in the song itself are heavenly 🩷 I don't know how SK and DK do it omg. And when we get the choreo, they are so *hot*. It's definitely Woozi I can't keep my eyes off of, espeically when he does the arm raise part. And in the Stage Mix, I haven't paid attention closely before, but their EXPRESSIONS are so good. In every closeup, the member just flirts with the camera omygod We're still in the beginning of the album 😂 I'd say YMMDawn has different flavors of songs, but they are still very cohesive together. I'm excited for Chili, and the Getting Closer rewatch. Welcome to You Make My Dawn Era!! Fun fact: 1. Getting closer, Good to me and Home is the candidate for title track for the album then they performed all 3 lives in this era. 2. This album is legendary as Home actually bagged 10 consecutives wins throughout music shows.

Good To Me is just THAT song. It walks into the room and gets the keys to the house because it OWNS the property now. Does that even make sense? NO! But it's a song that's so good it doesn't even make sense. My dream is to be at a Seventeen concert that has Good To Me on the setlist, so I'm keeping an eye on the (supposed) 2028 reunion concert setlist. I can't even verbalize how awesome this song is it just scratches something in my brain and it's colored orange-brown like the album cover. I will be upfront when I say I don't think anything but Getting Closer is standing on equal grounds with Good To Me in this album. Shh is cool, Chili is fun, Hug is sweet, Home is obviously very heartwarming, but Getting Closer and Good To Me have a FERAL energy that is right up my alley. Good to me remains one of my favourite SVT tracks to date. It just tickles the right spots for that grungy sound. Love how we're slowly easing into the darker, more mature, and sexy (?) side of Seventeen's discography 🤭 'YMMDAWN' gives us a glimpse of a moodier, more sophisticated direction, serving as a bridge between their early Freshteen days and this shift toward a bolder, more expressive chapter, if you will (a turning point that reaches its full peak with their 3rd full album 'An Ode'... but let's not rush ahead 😉). "Good to Me" pulls you right in with a mature, seductive charm and a deeply groovy sound. Then we get a beautiful change of pace with "Home", which you're already familiar with. It's a total staple for me, like a warm, comforting cocoon with a bit of a nostalgic feel. Ok, this comment is most likely going to be all over the place because I have many thoughts, please bear with me XD. First off, this song wasn't on my radar until more recently (an oversight on my part, in my defense their discography is so overwhelmingly large a track or two was bound to slip by me). However, it is now very high up on my favourite SVT songs list (somewhere in the top 20 of their group tracks, which sounds low but again, overwhelmingly large discography!). For me, it occupies a similar space vibe-wise as Getting Closer (it also took me until today to register that they're on the same album, no wonder it's one of my top 3 albums from SVT). I absolutely love when they play with a slightly darker/sexier/powerful tone (other songs that come to mind are Fear, Fearless and Flower). The song is just full and big in the best way, between the track itself, the vocals, and all the adlibs, it's so satisfying to listen to! I will say that I hadn't seen the choreo before, and while I think it fits the song well it's not my favourite. Sidenote, I need fully grown up SVT (I guess technically it will have to wait for post-military service at this point) to perform this, because if it was that sexy with still mostly fetus-teen, I can't imagine the impact it would have performed by fully adult-teen. I'll be interested to see if Han-C maintains his "screw the rest of the album" stance through the rest of the tracks! I have two other tracks that personally beat out Good to Me (Hug and Getting Closer, for very different reasons), but it's a very close competition even there. Also, I can definitely see why they went with Home as the title track, but I feel like Good to Me could easily have also worked as the title track (even Getting Closer, truly this album is stacked especially with the group tracks!).

I feel like you coherently put into words so many of my feelings on both this track, and Getting Closer! They absolutely scratch something in my brain every time I hear them, and feral energy is such a great description! I would absolutely love to hear either/both of them live in concert.

Good to Me is definitely my fave song of the album. Idk it just sticks with you. Thru out my day im just like, "Good to me Good to me ah ya ya ya!" Love ut so much! Han'C is my spirit animal on this reaction! ....and D'some's reaction too! Chef's big ass wet kiss!

Good to me is sooo goood and so is the choreo wow!!! LOVE IT!! I saw it live twice (Follow Tour) and it's soooo goood AAAAH! Tho unfortunately, like a 바보멍청이, I didn't record a lottt of it. I have only a little of the chorus from both day ㅠㅠ It was my first concert, and I was like, lemme grasp it with my eye and had storage issues AAAAH! But its gooood! AAAH! Btw I know Home is next, but can't wait for Hug. One of my fav VU song and my fav comfort song. And when we reach Hug hope you can do the HHU unit reverse too please. That's also so legendary!

I've said before how You Made My Dawn is what made me a Carat and it's funny to hear your thoughts after the choreo video because it's very close to what I felt too! They had just come back with Fear and I really liked the song, so I decided to listen to their previous album (this one). I had already heard Home and Getting Closer and loved those, then Good To Me starts and, one minute in, I immediately opened another tab to buy the album lol. My first SVT album! I like how all songs in it have a somewhat darker, edgier, more serious undertones in both music and styling. It's such a perfect balance to You Make My Day in my mind.

I'm so glad you guys have finally gotten experience Good To Me! This is still one of my fave SVT songs ever! The vocals, the sexy concept, and most of all that choreo are just a recipe for perfection! It is my dream to see this song live one day. I feel the same as Han-C the album could just be Good To Me, and I would be satisfied lmao. Though I am excited for you guys to check out Hug, it's also a standout for me on this album. At the moment Good to me is my favourite from this album (followed by Hug and Getting closer). I love this darker concept, it reminds me more of the Fear (maybe because of crazy DXS add-libs in the end 😭) The Jun and the extra sexy moves that were in the mix are from one of the legendary performances of this song (KCON LA 2019), unfortunately I wasn't able to find a good quality one that is not the part of full setlist... But if you will consider to watch more lives of this song and some kind angel-carat has it somewhere to share in good quality.... You will love it. Jun was not the only one .... they all went crazy that day 🔥😈

I love Home soooo much!! The unit tracks are good, but personally not as strong as other unit tracks. I'm pretty sure they performed Getting Closer for the first time at the 2018 MAMAs before it was released and I remember screaming so much because I was like NO WAY THEY'RE PERFORMING A NEW SONG!!!
