Remember, so you don't feel left hanging, I share updates for everyone from time to time!
Exclusive Subscriber post scheduled for the 9th.
Today, April 6th, I'm honestly feeling really happy. I've managed to find a balance —still improvable but very solid— between working hard, staying productive, and not burning out in the process, haha. I've made a lot of progress.
I'm currently unemployed and looking for something related to my field. In the meantime, I'm fully dedicating myself to personal projects, especially my visual novels. All my time is going into development.
I've had to adapt many of my habits, but I'm learning to organize myself better.
I'm close to finishing ALL the CGI for Two Sides of the Same Coin. As always, after finishing the CGI, I need to fix some errors in the images. There's always a strand of hair clipping through objects, or floating props I forget to remove, haha. I fix that in post using Photoshop so I don't have to redo scenes. (IT ALWAYS HAPPENS, but I try to make sure it doesn't reach the final product.)
Considering that I take Tuesdays off, it's very likely that by Wednesday I'll have all the CGI done, and by Thursday I'll start working on touch-ups.
From the previous TSSC update, where Kanya shines, I realized that sometimes less is more. In night scenes, for example, I've stopped oversaturating them with unnecessary shadows and lights. In daytime scenes, I've removed vignettes and only used the necessary amount of sunlight, which makes them feel more alive.
That's what it's about, improving every time. I've learned a lot, both in programming and scene composition. And I have to admit I made an ABYSMALLY MISTAKE in Crimson Prison since its release, which I only identified last week...
For now, it doesn't cause issues in the game, but if it continued like that, it would eventually break everything... I hate not having caught it earlier. I'm fixing that major mistake while trying to keep everyone's progress intact. I think I'm about 95% done fixing it. I'll probably release another hotfix soon that, in addition to correcting that issue, will also add in-game guides and improved cache handling on the download server.
TSSC skins are coming. 👀
That's all. Have a great day. Leaving you with some previews.

He avanzado mucho.
Estoy pronto a terminar TODO el CGI de Two Sides of the Same Coin.
Eso es todo. Bonito día. Dejo avances.
