Did you know that not all character development is good, or actually makes things better?

Throughout my projects, I've tried to avoid introducing flat characters. TSSC was heavily criticized in its early versions because all the characters seemed to have the exact same attitude. All of them except Yuzue.

Because of that, I started taking character writing more seriously, even with the limitations I had at the time.

For example, Arisa tends to speak faster, less clearly, and uses language that feels outdated for modern society. When I first introduced her, though, the result was very different, mainly because I didn't know how to write that kind of dialogue in English... and I'm a Spanish speaker. I've had to learn a lot.

That's another reason why I'm interested in recreating the beginning of the game. (And reworking the previous rework, haha.)

The most completely flat character in my projects is Igarashi-sensei. There's a reason for that, along with the reason behind his connection to events that happened before TSSC's timeline.

I want to explore his background a bit more and drop small hints about that misstep that holds back his development and pushes him in reverse, even if his poker face suggests otherwise.

And this is where I ask you... what does it take to break a man...? What is it that the quiet one never says?

He tenido que aprender mucho.
