your party along with Cain sprint towards the trees as they are pushed aside by a monstrous half human.  Its blank face stares at you impassively before bellowing. You all charge in. 

After a long and difficult fight, the creature is dispatched. It's brown blood, smelling awful. You look to Cain and the newcomer before you see them clasp hands and embrace as brothers. 

You hear the pendant yelling. "The creatures from 093, Cain & Abel, 939, 058... COULD THIS DAY GET ANY WORSE??". You all hear a bellowing roar carried on the wind... the pendant says in a small voice "not that one... please... not that one"

um, when cain & abel make peace - don't they disappear into dust?

They did. My head cannon is they ended up in sigil. Where all continuity crosses over. From there they came here to deal with somthing horrorfing and earn back Cains title.

In one story ( Maybe god will forgive you if we both beg ) Able tries to kill Cain repeatedly until they forgive, forget and turn to dust. In another ( The Stars do not wait for You ) they die when they stand against a reality bender who's power goes crazy and start turning everything around it to sand. Remember there is no canon so the stories can go any and every way.
