While travelling towards the next town, you and your party discover something sinister. A dead body along a side road. Strangely, this unfortunate expired due to a hideous injury to the back of the neck. Your party's cleric doesn't recognize the teeth marks... 

With caution, you follow the path to a small farm. There seems no one around. You begin exploring and upon entering one of the large barns find a strange cluster of... pods? Eggs? You're not sure. But with closer inspection, one of the eggs busts open suddenly with a small puff of smoke to reveal... nothing?
