The Lost Kobold (Patreon)

Ah, yes... the lost kobold. Typically, kobolds are weak but effective in large groups. But what if I told you some years ago I was approached by a group of kobolds, deathly afraid of ones of their own.

With a few brothers at my back, we were led to a camp. Fully expecting this to be a trap, we were confronted by carnage the likes of which gave even us pause. The leader of the kobold group explained a lost kobold came to join this camp, As is their way, he was accepted with open arms.

Of note were the unusual horns and dull scales about his face. By the time this group had left to hunt for food and returned, all of their kin were slaughtered... only the lost kobold was spotted. A new collection of bones in his satchel.
