Lost Kobold Devouer (Patreon)

We set off immediately to hunt down this abomination. While it is unusual for kobolds to ask for outside help, on this occasion it was understood. With their aid, we were able to track down this monster. 

Initially still disguised as its kobold form, once it understood it was being hunted, it changed form. Bathed in fire and its skull visible, the creature charged us. Its speed was prodigious, able to catch and consume one of the kobolds who helped us. 

It was clear this individual was cursed by hunger of its own kin. Eventually we were able to put it down, but not at great cost to us all. 

On that day I grew to appreciate the communal nature of kobolds as other local tribes came to our aid shortly after the beast's defeat.
