After dispatching those howling beasts, your party is able to get a little rest. The dawn barely breaks the thick canopy of trees and as you move further in you find nighttime to be almost permanent. But you and your party fear no darkness. 

Deeper within this cursed land, you spy strange creatures milling around. Their pale flesh, strong legs and oversized teeth looking like no creature you've seen before. Your parties rogue quickly determines they react to sound alone. 

You attempt to tread carefully to move through the milling throng, until someone breaks a twig. The creatures rush you, their closed maws opening wide as they attack some with fleshy tentacles. Despite your best efforts one of your party is captured. 

The creature easily lifting them off the ground grappled. You charge after the legs as they run away with their captured prize.
