Heavy blades back in TNP. Why? Because it's fun and these knives rock. I might do some IISA action with these too. For now I'll introduce you to the huge Nepalese Heavy Chopper. This is a mammoth blade capable of mammoth things...as shown. It won't work in some POUs, in others It will be ideal. Be careful with this one too as it will take your hand off.

Nutn, how could you sell the Chinese war sword?

I believe the Woodsman pal is what the Frank and Warren type II survival axe is based on. John Meyer said he always carried one while running MAC-V SOG missions in Laos and Cambodia. Must have been a useful item if he was willing to take that weight each time. Those guys only took essentials and as much ammo as they could carry. 600+ rounds every mission.

Great video. Agree 100% about choppers. Nut’n, I know you’re not a fan, but I do love my $75 Terava Skrama 240, which can pretty much handle anything. I also have a Woodsman’s Pal which is a fun piece, though I find the blade too thin and soft for real hard use. SYKCO also makes some insane choppers as well. I recently traded an axe and some cash for a Wenger OSS Smatchet, which should be something special.

Stop making us want more cool stuff!

Amen. I hadn’t seen your post as I was singing the praises of the Skrama in mine. I’m a big fan of a Skrama, Puukko, and Bahco Laplander load out.

Yes. the Woodsman’s Pal with the stacked leather washer handle and knuckle guard is almost identical. The WP is great for vines, brush, and foliage, and probably worked really well in the jungle. I’m sure it also did a number on whomever popped up in front of its owner.

I've got a puko as well and love it also. I was looking back and I think you posted first lol

Love the TNP large blade KRVs. Some of my fav content. Rtak 2 and Fallkniven A2 in the collection.

True story. My daughter was a freshman in college they order pizza for the floor, it arrives, they open the boxes and none of it is cut. The school had removed all knives from the dorm kitchen. My daughter reaches in her pocket and pills out the little Kershaw Chill I gave her. A legend was born.

I LOVE big blades and I cannot lie!

Ontario SP53 is my CHOPPA

Nepal is home to both brown bears and Tigers. I wonder how many have met this blade. 🤔

I also still have my Ontario rtak 2 from the original review, great knife.

Varusteleka.com has a heavy chopper at a low price you should check out nutn.

DudeDudeDude

That is a legit pizza cutter. Kind of does look like the one that Dave Portnoy speaks fondly of.

Nutn - I am shocked you didn’t say “Get in the Chopper” in Arnold voice the whole time! Next chopper video needs some TD too - a chop off.
