Helson Shark Diver Brass

Nutn not quite half way through, you address the size. One problem, just like with guns -> the length of the barrel or height of the grip aren't the critical measurement; it's the thickness. So it is with watches. More than 11mm thick it's just obnoxious even with a small case diameter. You know I rail on big watches. It's really the thickness dimension that's the problem. And that... that's a thicc watch. Also relatively small face to case ratio is a turn off.

Matthew Sinn

That said, on looks alone if it was raw copper and not bronze/brass it'd be novelty enough to be enticing.

Gunnies. The great American western wear and watch store.

DudeDudeDude

Nutn is gonna get one of those life size real dolls sent to him one day. LOL.

DudeDudeDude

I agree when wearing long sleeves, especially a dress shirt. However, I do not mind a thick diver if I am wearing short sleeves.

Titanium case back is to save weight........................ This watch would look good on a black nato.

Matthew Sinn

In plastic or otherwise light weight, sure. With any weight they just get uncomfortable and sometimes even unwieldy. I picked up a Invicta auto with a 40mm bezel in blue and gold that looks amazing, but it's so thick and heavy it gets annoying. I don't like wearing it. Also the face is tiny. Give me a 48mm case diameter with a slim bezel (even functional with markings) and 10mm thickness over any of the dive watch designs these days, any day.

Matthew Sinn

And we'll see it in the background of a bunker review and he won't even mention it.

They put in the effort to engrave the A1 case-back, why not give us an oceanic theme? Do better, Armida.

GMAX

Why do guys send you blow up dolls? Lunatic nutbags Lmfao! Wanna review my Marathon CSAR? I know you dig em.. LMK, I’ll hook you up.

The brass and titanium with orage are fantastic. In another wrv last year you mentioned that that watch was magnet-safe or anti-magnetic. I had a temporary watch stoppage when the magnet end of an olight baton 2 stuck to a quartz watch in a pile of stuff in my hat, IDK maybe glycine airpilot, stopped the watch until they were separated then resumed normal function. Could you expand on the magnet safe property?

I have a 45mm Helson Shark Diver 2000m . I know you love big watches and this one would fit right into your collection. Mine is black DLC. I will sell it you if you're interested.

Can’t believe I’m considering use of gun money for watches now… #thetrumpeffect

To be honest I go no problems with a simply case back. Is it cool to have something different there? Sure. But to be honest I would rather keep a few bucks in my pocket than have a unique case back that is never seen.

Moe Mansour

How would it increase the price? They already milled the back... I'm saying they should've chose better artwork.

Fantastic watch - I have the 45 mm brown dial in brass, ocean proven, great lume. Looks great on thick canvas strap too. I let it patina from use and it’s looking great!

Love those orange dials. It’s a style I wish to add to the collection.

Bro, I feel so attacked. Absolutely love my GMT Master II. I highly recommend rose gold hands if you can’t handle “shiny met-tal”. Sick review. Any brass watch automatically ranks high in 2nd cool.

Here it is on my 7 1/2", er, uh, wrist...
