This is the long-awaited continuation of my WROL (Without Rule of Law) philosophy — but this time, we’re going deeper into tactical patrols and how they can protect your micro-community when everything goes sideways.

Video is uploading now (slow pipe here in WY, HS), and it clocks in at 1 hour 30 minutes of tactical mindset, strategy, and execution. No shooting overlays this time — let me know if you want that in a future version.

In this talk, I break down how to actually conduct and execute tactical patrols in your AO. We’ll get into:

Manning your security force

Drone defense (yes, a real threat)

Shotgun integration

Medical support roles

Comms and MC patrol organization

Preferred weapons loadout + ammo picks

Rules of Engagement (ROE)

And a bunch more

It's packed with solid, real-world insights. The conversation is strong — I think you’re going to really like this one. Let me know your thoughts in the comments, TNPers. You guys fuel this whole thing.

Very interesting topic, critical to know but hope I never need it. I bought some paper books on this subject. Can’t recall the names of them. They are in a zip loc freezer bag with a bic lighter. Kinda like a “open in case of emergency” kinda thing.

This will be excellent; guaranteed.

Maybe time to get a star link? Lol, could even go with you in the van.

Can’t wait! Thanks for all the hard work Nutn!

I thought about it but $$ and I got lots of expense. I DO upload from the van via iPad too!

That fair, price is coming down... Slowly. Lol Lol, oh yeah that can use cellular Tower. Totally forgot about that.

Super excited for this one

I remember thebold Philossophy series

Always love the philosophy vids. Drone defense will be bad ass, maybe we will get to see that a300 again!

Can’t wait!! I love these videos!

Looking forward to this one!!!

Me: casually watching the tactical patrol vid. Also me, 3 hours later: dug a trench, assigned call signs, and now my dog answers to ‘Bravo Six.’ 🐕📡🫡

Yes shotgun!!!! Shotgun for urban wrol please!!!!

Brievet

Highly appreciated! I've wanted additional perspective since the content on South Africa WROL. This content will preserve life.

I used to totally disregard shotguns but in a semiurban/ urban area in wrol (NOT shtf, sick of ppl mixing them up) i consider them the go to... i also like the idea of a 22lr cheek pdw (farrowtech p17 w brace removed) combined w suppressor + nods (ghost mode)

Whatever you know and practiced to the point of muscle memory will be all you have when shit goes down... no cramming and studying up when the front gate is broken down... or not... look at john travoltas character in pulp fiction

Jonathan-James

Looking forward to the insights on this one. So much has changed in the war theaters in the last few years.

Philosophy/WROL are always highly anticipated. Nutn's greatest hits. Looking forward to it .

Love it. I hope it's not "timely" but it just might be.

We should have a talk about drones nutn... my friend has gone to ukraine muiltiple times to de0loy and develope them

That sounds great, since most people into preparedness think a lone wolf or lone families can do the job. As an exercise, I suggest a study for everyone to see how much land and water is needed to grow crops and raise animals (remember they need food also), now how many people will it take to grow that food, raise those animals? Having said that, the more people to help with those chores, the more land, water, and animals you need. Now, how does the lone wolf or lone family do all this work and provide security 24/7? I know it isn't the most sexy and exciting aspect, but it is essential on a day-to-day basis. Most people are drawn to talk about firearms, but you may never need to use your weapon for self-defense. What everyone will need is access to clean air, protection from the elements, clean water, and food. Just storing supplies isn't enough; you need a means of production. We’ve all heard someone say something like, “When things go south, I’ll just go into the woods and build a cabin with my knife and hunt my way to prosperity.” The truth is, if they could, they would be doing it now. However, during the Great Depression in the U.S., there were around 120 million people and an estimated 250 to 300 million game animals. Within less than a year, most of those species were nearly extinct. Today, with 320+ million people, we have only 28 to 30 million game animals left. This means that if less than 10% of people can successfully hunt one animal, we exhaust those animal populations quickly, most likely in less than 30 days. Intelligence will enable us to address threats before they arise. In order to have that intel when you need it, a network must be created before you need it. This doesn't mean just people like yourself, but people you can trust the word of, and they have access that you don't. Hanging out at the VFW and making friends with the fire chief by playing poker or darts can lead to a trusted relationship over time that will drop intel nuggets in conversations. Volunteering to work with your emergency management team, citizen police academy, CERT, volunteer S&R, volunteer fire department, volunteer EMT, etc.. are all ways of getting skills and making contacts for your intel. Developing a threat assessment and area study of your and neighboring areas will be a huge education on threats and help you didn't know existed before. The only way to stay in touch if things go sideways beyond anyone you can see is HF radio, and that means that you need to take the test, build a ham shack, and practice. Trying to learn the physics of radio signals, electromagnetic propagation, antenna materials, design, and position for your area in an emergency would be harder than surviving a firefight with no training. Short-range line-of-sight comms can not be relied upon in an emergency since they depend on a network of repeaters or a significant height difference to go beyond 3-5 miles of range that the curvature of the earth limits you to (a 100' tall UHF/VHF antenna on flat ground gets 11.5 miles.) NVIS HF signals allow regional comms with a 400-600 mile range, and if used correctly at low power, are more difficult to direction find (DF) and triangulate, and although slower than the modern high-speed signals we have now, HF is perfectly capable of transmitting maps, pics, email, weather, etc.. Also, NVIS can be used with your short-range comms to form a network to share the tactical situation from drones, people, and cameras and pass real-time intel to those who need to make decisions and prepare.

Bring it on!

Let's go you can really never be prepared enough.
